  1. Things I would like to see in future titles that can actually BE DONE with the Halo engine (terrain editors and cutting pieces wouldn't work): Precision editing returning: 'Nuf said. Interchangable palettes: Give us an option in the menu of which palette we would like to work with. In Halo 4 context, when you hit X, you'll see "Impact, Erosion, Ravine." Selecting one of these will lead you to the normal item menu, except eveything in there will have the skins of the selected palette. And not only three palettes from three maps. There are multiple themes we could use: Human Civilian, Human Slums, Human Military, Covenant, Forerunner, stone, etc. Weather Effects/ Time of day Effects: Easy to understand. In the gadgets menu, have a "Weather" menu. This will be similar to the visual filters. You place an orb on the map that will change the time of day and weather. Examples: Morning, Noon, Sunset, Night, Rain, Lightning Storm, Snow, Blizzard, Windy, Dusty, Light Rain, Cloudy. Environment Pieces: Also simple. Give us pieces that can change the environment around us. Trees, more rocks, shrubs, and terrain editing pieces. This wouldn't be a terrain editor exactly. Think of it like this: People already use rocks and tin cups to change the environment. Expand upon this idea, and give us smooth pieces with terrain skins of varying shapes and sizes to create smooth flat ground, or create rolling hills. They will still be made of individual pieces that can be placed on the existing terrain. Bulk pieces: We're almost there already with Coliseum Walls and the silo pieces on Impact. Give us large pieces with a low polygon count that can be used to create large environments at little cost on the engine. Large coliseum walls, entire ground structures (like the environment pieces), giant pillars, bigger ramps, that sort of thing. Better coordinates and rotational points: Think back to Reach. If you lined up a piece inside of anothe of the same dimensions and rotated it, it would still be inside the dimensions. This has been changed on some pieces in Halo 4, like the ramp 2X2 and corner 4X4. If you line them up then rotate them, they are off center. 343 needs to find the EXACT center of the pieces to set a rotation point. HOWEVER, they should not do this on pieces that are not an exact coordinate, like the 1X1 Tall and Thin and the Coliseum Wall. Now, they're not AS bad as everyone is making them out to be, but it would be nice to have some more user friendly canvses. Thank you 343 for listening to us and giving us Forge Island, but please do better with the default maps in the future. We don't want half finished "templates" to finish, but blank canvases to fully utilize. One example that I've talked about a lot is a snow canvas that would use the same texture mapping as the rocks on Ravine. They could make it so the pollar top of every piece that is exposed to the sky has snow on it. Scenery: We're getting closer with the inclusion of Dominion pieces as aesthetics, but there really should be more. Think of some of the maps in Halo 3. The first one that comes to my mind with aesthetic pieces is High Ground. That map had shelves, tables, radios, and laptops lying around. I'd like to see the inclusion of more practical aesthetic pieces like this in future titles. Dynamic Objects: Basically, give us stuff that moves. It's doesn't need to be anything crazy like custom moving pieces, but things like the Station Core on Impact. For example, give us a U shaped metal frame with movable gates attached to either side like in the back of High Ground. Nothing special, just a single piece that isn't stagnant. I'm probably missing some things, but I'll leave it open to you guys. What do you think? I'm trying to think of things they could add in that wouldn't disrupt the current engine or way the game handles. Forge is and always will be a map editor at heart, simply for easy of use. There are still many things that could be improved, and I want to hear if you guys have any ideas that could be implemented SIMPLY and stay true to what Forge is.
  2. Forge: Ideas in Evolution Throughout our time with the Forge, in various Halo iterations, we've witnessed the progression of the system towards a more well-rounded experience and set of tools. Some of the changes have been invaluable and make the past look archaic, while others have left many of us in the lurch wonderning why something would be removed. Regardless of where we are now, it's important that we directly address the future and evolution of this beloved feature of the Halo franchise. While not all thoughts posted may be winners, all constructive ideas will help guide what we would like the Forge to become. Please submit your stories of both toil and love for the system, so that we can steer this ship towards a greater tomorrow! =^..^=
  3. Here are my sudgestions! -THE ARBITER! Put him back and fight with him and the elites on your side! You should also put a new zombie like creature, like the flood but better, Flood 2.0! -Put FIREFIGHT back! GOD! - Add marines to help you in firefight, like instelation 04 in anniversery - Make a forge mode where you can make a firefight map - Make prometheans and flood in the firefight mode. - Make pelicans and phantoms multiplayer vehicles. - CHANGE DEFAULT CONTROLS BACK, AND GET RID OF CUSTOM LOAD OUTS. That is EXACTLY what CoD did, I would kindly like you guys to not rip off of them, They SUCK! -Make promethean vehicles and a forge world that's GIANT! -Could you guys make it to where you don't have to have Xbox live to ENJOY the game?! All I can do is campaign and a small multiplayer match. You can't even let us play the new firefight?! That's messed up! Put firefight back! -FIREFIGHT FLOODS! -A gun that drains somebody's life and adds to yours, like a stasis rifle! -An anti-air turret! -Better/more assasinations! Thank you for reading guys!
  4. Just a shout out to 343. I liked the progress from reach to h4, but one problem for me is that (i Still love Halo) but the game in general got somewhat boring as in Halo Reach. I still love halo but i am not always in the mood to play as much as i used to. Also, many of my hardcore halo friends are disappointed in how halo used to be a supreme uniqueness to it (which made the game extremely fun) but it is starting to lose its touch. I understand that it is hard to continue a series after 10 thrilling years (for example, Call of Duty has same thing every single game) but I miss that uniqueness that made halo so much fun. In halo 5 can u make the forerunner structures same on the outside but different on the inside. For example, in the second mission when you emerge from the caves (right before the warthogs) that is hands down amazing. Yet, on the inside of many forerunner structures i felt disappointed . For example, the interior of the Didact's ships is not as fascinating as i anticipated as on the library in halo CE with the mysterious structures. Also, I would be playing halo 24/7 if you could have an OPTION to change vehicle gameplay to first person, as Bungie did in halo 1. I think it would be cool to be able to look first person in vehicles for to feel like in Special Forces or something like that. Also, reinstating the remaing SPARTAN II's into a reliable team would be a cool thing. Also, If you continue Spartan Ops (please do) can we have a mission where we work alongside Master Chief and hopefully his SPARTAN II team. Also, this would continue the halo unverse, can u explain the gap between h3 and 4 respectively, why we continued the war with the covenant (it wasn't completely explained on the Thursday's War) and Human politics after the war (how the UNSC, UEG, and the human race would function, mainly how the UEG survived after the war). <--- This can be placed on waypoint if needed as maybe terminals in halo 5. Finally, can u tell how The arbiter kept the covenant together if he does (in either karen traviss' new book or in halo 5) and please, please, please put the arbiter in halo 5 as hopefully an ally, but if not at least an enemy (and maybe we can play as im but thats too good to be true). If anyone has any thing else they would like to add just reply and put what u want in halo 5. Maybe with enough replies or views 343 would be persuaded to put in reasonable things that the community asks for. P.S. 343 Since i am a hardcore halo fan i would love to have these things in halo, i would still play halo if u don't. Good luck with the journey, I will be there the whole time supporting you guys.   5. Halo 5 wish list and ideas this topic will be seperated into sections Forge Ideas I have some prett good idea's (atleast in my opinon) for forge. Forge Dimensional veiwer This is an option that must me selected before the game starts or by pressing start during game. Lets take "Sandtrap" for a example. When I go and select it It gives me a list on how the world may be veiwed. like for example "Desert" when you select it it will either change all the texture's to be worn down or like how it looks right now. you can select Wasteland or Hotsprings and it will change it to a snow dessert place (Like all the sand to tundra and structure's to a crystal ice Land pockets i'm going to shorten this becuase I acccadently lost all data but in thisit is like making regular forge objects. This create's a small peice of land like the grid and puts some shrubs on top of if it is a forest of plains area. These reflect the maps theme. On the bottom is is dirt. These may have to be limmited. Add some smaller details! Dont get me wrong I love building big structure's but sometimes they seem empty. Halo 4 did a good job on helping with details like dominoin but lets have some more like wooden crate's ect. Add some sort of working door system I am probably not the only one but when I place a door I might actually wnat it to be there not just a wide gap. I wouldent use these in online exept in Zombie game type. I dont care if you put in a small tiny sheild in it just do something with it! Game Type's 1. In zombei's you could have a specail map that you could either place wide open doors to working openable ones. When you first start you are spawned in a spawn room in two group's. to get them to exit the room and explor the map we will make it extremly easy for zombei's to enter in. for example a tunnle way up high in the room where they cannot get into but only out. the doors would have a small terminal beside them. To acces the door you will need to use this. press x and it will open. Misc 1. Add a HUMAN flying vehicle This thread will update when I think of more idea's
  6. During all the Halo's including Halo CE and Halo 2. I kinda got bored cause there weren't enough missions like I got bored of it easily. Of course in Halo 4 there was Spartan Ops aswell. Tell me what you think in the poll. Of course there was Spartan Ops and Firefight for cooperative gameplay and a seperate story then Master Chiefs. And FireFight for plain old fun.
  7. The Flood. You either Love or Loath it. Many people loath it due to the library missions in Halo CE/Halo 2 as well as Cortana from Halo 3. I admit Cortana was tedious at times and the Libraries could become frustrating, but thats no reason for pulling one of the most dangerous threats (in theory) from a game where all the awesome ancient tech is based around combating it. The flood in the original trilogy was good, but after reading the books and terminals about it, the fungus zombies didnt seem to portray the unstoppableness-ness that overwhelmed the Forerunners and caused them to commit cosmic suicide. In game i think the flood needs to become scaryer. Slithering in the dark, ambushing you, literally tearing through allies. The spartan flood in the Infection gametype of halo 4 has a giant claw, so lets see it put to use. Another thing is the weakness of flood. In halo 3 you could almost dissolve combat forms with a nasty look. Halo CE had it right. 2 clips of 60 round MA5B ammo and the ******** can still hop up off the floor. Now in many topics Ive seen Deadspace fans gloating how their necromorphs are scaryer. And to be honest I have to admit the flood isnt as scary in game. But in concept the flood should be able to make Chief nervous. Im trying not to express my sadistic side, but i think non scripted marine deaths by infection forms in Halo 3 were amazing. Graphics and gore upated with modern software and you have a greusome yet amazing incentive to protect your AI buddies. If 343i made you respect your marines (rather than using them as meat shields and ammo mules, get them to give you ammo or help you in some way without the scripted cutscene like events so you DO want to keep them alive, even for just sentimental reasons) then when they are tron in half and eaten in front of you, you might exact revenge rather than laugh. I know I beat the crap out of Spark when he killed Johnson. -Imagine this. You are running along through Halo 5 with a couple of AI buddies [that arent in any way significant to the mission], theyve been talking to you, weakening and killing enemies, supplying you with ammo and generally being helpful [yes i am still taling about Halo marines here] when suddenly jimmy-bob AI is grabbed by a Combat form and torn in two, while the other AI is making horrible gurgling noises as an infection form burrows into his rib cage. This would make me go on a rampage. Why not make us care about our AI buddies, then have the flood come rip our bromance apart? Gameplay wise we need variaton with flood. Halo 3 should be seen as a concept point for 343i. Pureforms were a good idea but never seemed to be as big a threat as they were made out to be. Why not have a stronger flood force where most infection forms were tank strenght. Not requiring a rocket launcher to take down [thats just crazy] but making them bullet sponges. Force a player to fall back as a staggering wall of flood marches at you. Infection forms can stay as popcorn, its part of the games now and actually suits them, but noone seems to panic when they are around. If you have AI allies around these little guys should become your worst nightmare. Buddies now oozing with green slime and floodflesh turn and rip into you. Wall to wall popcorn is never a bad idea. new types? Take a leaf from Halo wars and have infected grunts/jackals in game. I know in the lore they are infected to become food and flesh for the hives of the flood, but we should get to see this. Flood growths could also be interesting. Halo 3 gave us the Mature spores that released infection forms but why not the stalks and tenticals of halo wars? the ranged pureforms could become stationary and allow for proper assault flood controlled areas objectives in campaign. Summing it up, scary and overwhelming is what it needs to be. With promethians and covenant requiring tactics and flanking to overcome, this updated flood should be the break from noobcombotakeoutthewatchersthenknights tactics and it should open up your inner Rambo. Tactical decisions would still be needed, but more along the lines of 'do i have enough ammo' or 'which flood should I avoid and which do i shoot at from range.' Another benifit of Flood returning would be the return of sentinel weapons. The sentinels in Halo 2 were awesome, and if you havent already you should look up the concepts for other in game sentinels. I can imagine massive fights between variations of flood and sentinel and promethian that you must navigate. It also means flame weapons can make a return. The bodies dissolving from forerunner weapons in game actually serves a purpose (apart from us thinking 'Ooh.... pretty...) by destroying bodies so flood wont infect them [this could aslo allow for a flood firefight- check out some of the other topics ideas on this, people come up with good stuff]. Story-wise i think the flood should remain as an extragalactic parasite. A biological weapon from the precursors? Thats kinda lame to be honest. I would prefer that when the precursors buggared off to the other galaxies to explore and do precursory things that they came across an entire galaxy that was consumed by flood. Not knowing what the flood was they were overwhelmed and consumed. Now the flood has the ability to travel the distance between galaxies ['cept the precursors sabotaged their engines to save life here in the milky way]. The flood manages to send one small cluster of spores and hive on a ship back to the milky way where the humans found it.... And the cannon story follows from there. This -and i know its a stretch- could be the return of the flood in Halo 5. A precursor vessel filled with highly evolved flood slips into the milky way after jul m'dama activates a forerunner device that could contact the precursors. The Ship offloads and starts a massive infection of covenant space. **** gets real and the Array become an option for the UNSC to wipe out the huge flood incursion. Promethians can get involved somehow. Everybody wins, original trilogy and new age fannon fans. Id Like to see your ideas on my ramblings and any additions/subtrations you would make to the halofanboy opinions i vomited in the essay above.
  8. We say that we want more maps and bigger ones, but that's all we say and 343 ends up developing the whole maps themselves. Who says the players can't make the ideas and 343 just animates and codes them in? It saves on lots of time and stress for the early stages of development, and it makes us happy too. Here are some templates: - Forest - Snow - Desert - Canyon - River - Cliffs - Earth - Sanghelios - New Mombasa theme - Other planets - Space - Indoor (building) - Indoor (ship) - Indoor (other) - Objective-related map - Open area - Narrow area - Dogfight area - Arena - Human - Forerunner - Covenant - Halos **Possible rating and/or voting if this thread goes successful. Tip: Map your idea(s) on paper - with contour lines if you're good at it. And be sure to describe your map as much as possible! Huge and small maps are welcome. I will be posting my ideas.

I have a new idea 343 Industries in Halo 5 it would be sweet if we the community can have more options in the multiplayer of halo 5 such as weapons armor vehicles species of the player customizable emblems like in COD black ops 2 as well as building game types from more options and have the forge more advanced and much more down below. weapons ideas: I love that you guys allowed us to choose different skins for our weapons but to be honest it was fun but it would be a lot more exciting if we can fully customize our weapons and use them in multilayer and set them into classes but to keep the halo feel of multiplayer and not the COD feel we you guys build a new system i have an idea and that is allowing us to go into a weapons builder menu and build our weapons from scratch or allow us to have the ability to combined two or more weapons together for example the sticky detonator combined with the assault rifle or the for covenant we can place an energy sword under a storm rifle to act like a bayonet and it would be so much fun if we can choose custom colors for our weapons and allow us to place our emblems on our weapons. Vehicle ideas: I have an idea for vehicles called vehicle smithing take a wort hog for example and you decide to get rid of the turret and convert into a troop transport and allow us to customize it even further like coloring it and choose from different armor plating not just for wart hogs for every vehicle. where would all this fit on in halo 5 ? a new custom firefight that is more objective based and the weapons and vehicles you customized you can call it in as ordnance not only that in fire fight we want to be able to build buildings and fortify our positions and hold them off for as long as we can. Forge ideas: forge is great but it can be better i have many ideas to share one is the option to change the weather and time of day also to allow us to spawn AI like in far cry 3 i really liked that and the AI to have options like if they are friend or foe you can choose and to color them also we really want a new forge world perhaps a bigger one than in halo reach a forge world that is an open world like we can go under water go in space also we want more vehicle options we want to be able to spawn in huge things like frigates and cruisers so we can have huge space battles and let us completely and fully operate them and we really want to be able to have the vehicles from halo wars in halo 5 and we really really would like to have the scarab to drive also we want to have more environmental options like spawning fore trees and stuff like that and please add in more air vehicles. Armor ideas: we would love to have fully customizable armor and be able to do a lot more with it and we want our choice of armor to affect gameplay like if you choose heavy armor you have more health but less speed and jump and we want new armor abilities i have an idea for one and that is a scuba gear type of ability to go under water also i really loved the armor effects from halo reach please bing them back also we want more way more armor options like different types and also it would be cool if we could build our own armor from scratch from multiple options in the game. Species ideas: when i say Species i mean like in halo reach we had the option to be spartans or elites we would love for that to come back and more options like to be a brute. gameplay ideas: we would love the idea to have the option to go into first person view in a vehicle and third person option in vehicle or on foot plus we would love more assassination types and specific ones for each species you choose to be also for kill streaks we should have more options for example you are on a seven kill streak you can call in a squad of marines to assist you and many other kill streak rewards. Specialization ideas: please add more and have more perks with them. campaign ideas: please bring back the brutes and the elites and it would be cool if we could go into the Elites and the Brutes home worlds and the graphics are great and they can be better like the cinematic movies in the halo 4 campaign. music ideas: Neal Davidge did a great job but the music it not that great for the all the action like I'm fighting the covenant and i feel i'm in an opera not a war fighting aliens breaking benjamin lights out for the halo reach trailer was awesome you guys should add more rock music for all the fighting moments and all the other music for cinematic moments and for when your not in combat.
  10. All right, "Elite" said my poll was one-sided, so I'll remove my influential opinions (lol) and make some unbiased, boring points. There are many options for Halo 5's Magnum. Each iteration throughout the saga has had its perks and flaws. In CE, the "Pistol" was great--a lightning-fast three-shot kill with 2x zoom, deadly accuracy, and a high skill-curve. Its two major flaws in my opinion were that it had a large clip (12 bullets, I believe), which forgave errant shooting, and it dominated all other non-power weapons, leading to sometimes monotonous--yet consistent--matches. In Halo 2, it was christened "Magnum" and received some new features. It was a five-shot kill and the first iteration to have an eight-bullet clip. These nerfs were added to balance out dual wielding, which brought some epic combos to the game (Pea-shooter/Magnum, SMG/Plasma Rifle). While it was rewarding to use, its kill time still made it a clear secondary to the Battle Rifle. In Halo 3 the Magnum did not change much. The Battle Rifle and Assault Rifle clearly outshone it in many respects; it was used mainly for cleaning up headshots when the primary weapon of choice ran out of ammo. It also didn't have a scope, as I recall. In Halo 3: ODST, the Magnum underwent a dramatic change. It became silenced and was pretty much useless against the Brutes; however, its scoped ability remained highly effect against Jackals and Grunts (yayyyy!!!). In Reach, the Magnum was either a 5sk or 6sk, but it shot much faster. To compensate for this, bloom was added to prevent spamming. It remained an effective weapon; in te beginning of the game, the bloom reset faster than that of the DMR. In Halo 4, the bloom remains and the Magnum is a six-shot kill. It is actually surprisingly effective--if you can manage the bloom. Firing faster makes for random outcomes, so pacing is key. Some say that a six-shot kill is not rewarding for the skill it takes to deal with bloom, or because the primary weapons are now buffed (#Halo4Turbo). Its damage was increased to promote teamshooting, but it remains a 6sk. 343i now however have the ability to tweak it with ease, so opinions on its transformation are welcome. Which Magnum was the best? the worst? Do you think there should be different variants for multiplayer and campaign (stealth levels) or should it be consistent throughout both faculties? Leave your thoughts below; I'll reset the poll questions so they are less biased and so I can recollect the information after writing this lengthy post.
  11. I for one was very disappointed by the lack of large maps in halo 4, true we have a lot of BTB maps but they are all fairly small and incapable of supporting heavy vehicle combat. What i would like to see in halo 5 is the introduction of a 16 v 16 heavy combat playlist which would pit teams against each other on very large maps loaded with air and ground vehicles. I would like to see the following vehicles in halo 5: -Warthog -Guass hog -Rocket hog -mortar hog -mongoose -Scorpion -Mantis -Falcon -Hornet -Wraith -Spectre -Banshee -Chopper -Ghost -Possibly even pelicans and spirits With this massive pallet of vehicles we should also get some new anti vehicle weapons here are some ideas: -Rocket launcher -Anti armor/air rockets (tracks ground and air targets, low splash damage) -Anti personnel rockets (no tracking, high splash damage) -Spartan Laser (how could anyone forget:) -Heavy Railgun (The most powerful weapon in the game, hold 2 rounds, has 2x and 10x scope, one hit kill on literally anything, pelicans included) -Plasma Launcher (practically the same as the one from reach but with better tracking and more damage) -Anti armor incendiary rounds (can be placed on map and are weapon specific, deal 2x the damage to vehicles) -Gauss turret (like the one on the warthog except in "shade turret" format -Rocket turret (like the ones on the mammoth in halo 4) -Oh and possibly mines as well (they could fit into a grenade slot on your HUD) These are just some cool ideas i had, feel free to critic them or add some ideas of your own
  12. This was in my mind some time now and I wanted to share it with you. How many times you've been in an area with 2+ people while assassinating someone, and eventually you get killed? It would be cool if you can "execute" your enemies with your current weapon. Let's say you have the Sniper Rifle and you want to assassinate someone but fast, you would press RT almost the same time when you trigger the assassination. I imagine some cool move, like you turn him around and shoot right in his face! Of course you still spend ammo with this move, but it may allow you to survive after assassinating someone (if there are enemies around). Well, with some weapons it would be hard, like the Rocket Launcher or Incineration Cannon, but there is always a possibility. Like, when carrying rockets, you push the enemy forward and fire in his face again! What do you think? Please post and rate

Halo 4 was a good game, interesting storyline, weapons weren't too shabby, but if there's one problem I had with it, it's the choices for your character in Multiplayer being limited to only Spartans. No elites like in older games. It was disappointing, it really was. However, everything else was good, I can't complain much. I just want to spice up the Multiplayer in Halo 5 if possible. make it a bit funner. Imagine the possibilities. Now, spartans, you know them, you love them, decent speed and decent defenses, usually sprint as their default abilities, but the two character models that twist that a bit are the Elites and the Knights. Elites had joined the Spartans in Multiplayer in Halo 2, I was thinking they could be slightly faster than Spartans, but they take a bit more damage when their shields are down. Their default armor ability is half of the effect of a thruster pack, just jump out of the way of something. Only goes half the distance as a thruster pack, but works like Evade in halo Reach. Now imagine playing as a promethean knight. Knocking enemies forward and back with a robo-attack. They move a bit slower than Spartans, but they also take a bit less damage when their shields are down. Their default ability is Teleport. Now I know what you're thinking. "How's that fair?" Well we could make the Knight's teleportation more predictable with a blue Point A light and an orange Point B light where the teleporting player will be. Knight shields can't recharge when teleporting, there's a very short time limit how long you can stay vanished before you reappear at Orange Point B, and there's a strict distance limit. Do you agree or disagree?
  14. Now that I've played Anniversary and seen the unique skulls it had and comparing it to other games I find that we had a continuous line of the same skulls for a while. Such as the Malfunction skull from Anniversary, that one was very challenging yet fun to use. But I also want to see some new skulls be put into play. Tell me your opinion on this matter and tell me if you have any skull ideas of your own.

  17. Halo 4 was an amazing game, by far one of my favourite Halo's. But there are a few things i personally do not like, and i'm sure many others agree with me. (in no order) 1. ELITES - I was okay with elites not being in matchmaking, but i would have liked them do be in. It adds more customisability and to be able to go on and play as an alien race makes it just that much better. 2. SOUNDS - The sounds in halo 4 where brilliant. The guns where pounding every time you took a shot... but they weren't halo. They didn't sound like halo, the covenant guns didn't sound alien, the assault rifle didn't sound like an assault rifle, and the pistol was very weak sounding. They need to do what they did with Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary. The weapons all sounded like halos, but had a punch to them. Each sound blew you away and yet were still recognisable as halos. And in every other Halo the shield recharge sounded great, it had a kick to it. In halo 4 its kind of weak, not very loud and had a whistle to it rather than this futuristic shield. They need to bring that pump back to in Halo 5. 3. SHIELDS - The shields in halo 4 depleted way too fast and recharged way too slow. I realise this was too speed up the gameplay and all but it doesn't feel like the halo shield i love from Halo 2 and Halo 3. And the over-shield in halo 4 is terrible, it depletes way to fast so by the time you found someone to kill you ran out of the over-shield. They must make it that powerful original shield again. 4. WATER - In halo 4 water kills you the second you touch it. In the other halos the water goes up to your neck before dying. I know its a bit picky but it just annoys me when in halo reach i forged flooded areas. 5. CAMPAIGN - I waited for years to play halo 4, it was worth it but i would have liked to campaign to have been longer and more dedicated. 6. MUSIC - I was disappointed not to hear the classic halo theme and a choir. It would just have made the mysterious settings much better. I loved their version of 'Never Forget' in Halo 4, it kept me watching the credits through to the ending. In halo 5 they need to bring back some more classic music. 7. QUICK TIME EVENTS - No... just no. They should have let us kill the Didact ourselves, like we did with every other boss. Sometimes it was okay but just left me wishing that i was actually controlling it. 8. GAMEPLAY - Its just small but id like the controls to be customisable. Such as being able to have sprint being selected as a default rather always being on. And have the other Halo controls as a setup. And some multiplayer playlists should be changed, like Flood. I loved infection in halo reach, but the flood having armour abilities ruins it. Its way to difficult to survive and makes you angry when there are seconds to go and you cheaply get killed by a flood using thruster pack. 9. THE FEEL - Last thing i think they could change is the feel. Things missing here and there that could be changed. Like i said before, the choir and layouts could be a little more recognisable. When i go into the menu the music is good but repetitive, i enter it hearing the same songs over and over and over again and its a strain on my ears. The Halo 3 music was soft and beautiful. And just small things like the colour and of buttons and the menu needs to be more classic. And thats pretty much it, i love everything else. The load-outs especially suit Halo very much. And i like how the armour abilities have been toned down from Halo reach. Just minor things but i think 343 industries could sort it out and make the next halo the best halo game ever made.

With the weapons I'm hoping for a much larger variety, like having both assault rifle's where the 32 round is stronger, more accurate and is thinner, the 60 has a faster fire rate, is weaker and looks thicker, so in the end it will equal the 32 AR. Just things like that, having a larger weapon choice, bringing back old weapons like the mauler and brute shot. as well as adding in new ones. Also with the needler, the halo reach one needs the shield down to go boom, and halo 4 one doesn't (but needs 7 needles), the reach needler could be a loadout weapon a halo 4 needler could be a power weapon. If they are bringing elites back as a playable specie then they should be fully customizable. And if they're keeping the unlock the weapons yourself thing then they could have separate ranks for spartan and elite, you unlock the weapons for that specie as it ranks up and the weapon become usable for both. when you first start your spartan you get to choose between the 32 or the 60 round AR and either the 8 rounds (scoped) or 12 rounds (faster fire rate), when you first start the elite you can choose between plasma rifle, repeater, or storm rifle with the plasma pistol (and maybe a new pistol for the covenant). If they do this then for promethean weapons (sorry for the huge read) you should be able to be humanoid promethean knight or even a forerunner. If they bring brutes back you should be able be one of them as well and you choose start with either the spiker or the brute plasma rifle. with assassinations, if you can showstop someone by a beat down then you should be able to assassinate someone performing an assassination, if you're saving a team-mate then the medal should be called something like "Not on my watch", if it's a free for all and you have a headshot capable side-arm then you should not only kill the attacker but steal the victim as well with the medal "The Spotlights Mine". However you need to be really lucky to getthis because whenever i assassinate on reach or 4 i always change the camera angle so i cant beat down. It would awesome if 343 did this, and made eacg save/steal different for each assassination.

OK so most of us except the N00Bs outhere can tell you the H4 gametype "flood" sucks, well why cant it come back better like this: starts out with the player being a Infection form "little bug like popcorn things" then you latch yourself onto someone and they become an Infection form but you become a combat form "actual fighters" and you wield whatever weapon that player had as also with AA and Player species. After being killed as a combat form there is a chance that depending on what kills you got you could turn into a stalker form (Halo 3 ones that climb walls), Ranged form (Halo 3 form that shoots needles at you from the wall), and very rarely a tank form (big hunter like ones in Halo 3) flood base would either be gravemind or proto gravemind. Can operate vehicles flood announcer would be the gravemind carrier forms are a "place" to spawn at if you are a infection form and you can operate them, by the way if you get stuck by a grenade, you explode entirely, and if shot by a rocket or fuel rod will just end you flying undead. flood HUD would be all the same for each except the combat form who would have the previous user HUD but just with pestilence and flys in front. Hope you like the ideas!

It would also have these vehicles: UNSC: Mongoose, Warthog, Scorpion, Hornet, Pelican (Maximum of 2), Elephant (Maximum of 2), Sabre, and Frigate (Base, Unusable) Covenant Separatists: Ghost, Spectre, AA Wraith, Heretic Banshee, Phantom (Maximum of 1), Shadow (Maximum of 3), Seraph, and Corvette (Base Unusable) Rebels: Ferret (Human Motorcycle), APC (Armored Warthog), Wolverine, Kestrel (Small Space jet) Storm Covenant: Chopper, Prowler, Wraith, Banshee, Spirit (Maximum of 2), Locust (Maximum of 1), Space Banshee, Cruiser (Base, unusable) And also new forge categories: Covenant Structure, Human Structure, and Forerunner Structure

  22. I was wondering what could happen after Cortana's final events on Halo 4. Supposing that the idea of Cortana not coming back as canon, how would Master Chief get battle assistance, intel on covenant activity, and/or the ability to be able to understand covenant (and forerunner) artifacts? Will he get help from a team, a new companion, or a new AI?
  23. I've been playing AC III multiplayer and at the end of each match, the top 3 accolades are shown on screen along with an animation for the best one. For example, if you had the most kills, you character is shown stabbing, punching and killing 3 enemies like a boss! What if a similar system was brought in Halo 5? Like "Most multi kills", showing your Spartan/Elite killing some enemies in a flash or "The Assassin", your player performs an assassination. It would be great to have this in the game.   25. Okay so my topic is Currency to Purchase Armor, Emblems, Stances etc. In Halo 3 there was no Currency whatsoever, As you Got more Acheivments you earned more armor. In Halo 3 ODST it was when you completed another Mission you earned a Character model for Firefight, however that would not work. In Halo Reach Credits Came and when you did anything ( exept for theater) you earned more credits that alowed you to Purchase armorin means of using the credits. Then in Halo 4 343 went over board and made everthing have a price including emblems! So on another topic what species can the player play as? Tell me your thoughts about it?
