Source-EscapistMagazine With Halo 4's Castle Map Pack now available, Microsoft wants to offer you a bit of incentive to grab the rest of the game's extra content - but you'll need to hurry to grab it all. The Castle Map Pack for Halo 4 debuted this week. That would be news in an of itself, but in an effort to pull in even more extra cash from Halo fans, Microsoft has opted to discount all previous DLC releases for the game. The big caveat here? This sale runs for one day only. Either you buy these packs at a discount today, or you're stuck paying full retail price tomorrow. So, what kind of discounts are we looking at? According to Microsoft, both the Crimson Map Pack and the Majestic Map Pack are each now now available for $7.50 (instead of their usual $10 price tag). Likewise, the War Games Map Pass has been discounted from $25 to a more wallet-friendly $20. You can find all of these discounts on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but again, they're only valid for today, so if you're interested we'd recommend you hurry over and grab your discounted content ASAP. Oh, and in case you're wondering, the Castle Map Pack will set you back $10. It's too early for this addition to see a discount, though buying the discounted War Games Map Pass will allow you to grab all three DLC packs for what is effectively two-thirds of their normal pricing. If you've got the scratch and don't already own any of the DLC packs, that's definitely the way to go.

Hey guys, just wanted to try and promote my Uncaged remake: Cage of Death. With Forge Islands released and the whole gamertag and tag searches I hear being fixed I thought now would be a good time to try =] My gamertag is thelimoiscoming; to any readers that might not now how to search, just pause the game, press down, and go to the file browser, then follow these steps: File Browser -> Map Variants -> File Share Search -> (Forger's Gamertag) -> Choose Correct Map -> Download It leans more towards a spiritual remake and it's not an exact replica of the original map. But I'm very proud of it with my own very slight variations to the original which was one of my favorite maps on reach. It was created on Ravine and should work with pratically any game type besides Dominion. This is my first time posting in this forum and I hope you guys enjoy my map remake. Should be the one that has (Final) at the end. Edit: Ok, awesome just found out how to post pics. Again, new to forums, bear with me guys

Map: Deflect Gametype: Deflect Map Palette: Forge Island Creators: Unit 50079 and Unit 526 Supported Gametype: Flood Open on file share Objective: Humans spawn in a safe room covered by one way shields. The room has a soft kill barrier. A flood controls a gauss warthog cannon and you must deflect his bullets with your hard light shield. It is hard to hit the warthog, but teamwork and intelligence WILL help you survive. Other: There is an aesthetic camp on the medium island and a forest on the large one. BTW there is no link because I posted this on my iPad and the linking is hard, so THFE please PLEASE showcase this, me and my brother have worked hard to put together this map and we have planned carefully before forging. This map has been tested with my friends, so this is ready. if there are any mistakes, THFE, let me know.

Gamertag: OT7OM4N Map: Cr4zy Cannons Evolved Gametype: Cannonballs (Regicide) Description: An advanced re-make of the classic Halo 3 map, Crazy Cannons, only watertight and upgraded. Based on a Regicide Gametype allowing for leader tracking, randomised cannon location spawning and double the cannons than the original this map takes crazy to the extreme. Objectives: A free-for-all gametype with random weapon allocation mechanics makes this a game of both skill and chance. You could start with a Boltshot and a Plasma Pistol or a Incineration Cannon and a Binary Rifle. The aim of this is simply to get the most kills in the 10 minute game. Although a Regicide Gametype there will be no bonus points for killing the king nor for any other accolades. 10 points per kill, plain and simple. No point penalty for suicide or respawn delay and there is no way to get out of the map, it is watertight. The king will appear as green whilst other players always in blue. Initial spawn all players will be red but no damage will be taken. All respawns will be invisible for two seconds to give them an edge and allowing them to get back into the game. The map has the spawn capabilities to accommodate a maximum of 8 players however this will play extremely hectic and may be a bit too much to handle. Here are the levels of crazy based on number of players: 2 players - Target Practice (Slowest pace) 3-4 players - Crazy (Constant flow of players) [Optimum] 5-6 players - Insane (Heavy flow of players with lots of clashes) 7-8 players - Mental (No chance of streaks and puts crazy to shame) Remember this map relies heavily on randomness so there may come low points in the match but nothing that can stop the match with a stalemate. And in reach new forge environment became available with some DLC as well. Could this be 343 hinting at a new forge world in the upcoming DLC? this map is very similar to the map "firing range" but uses guns and it is a single hill where a team is in the reactor but can not move or kill the enemy, while the other team tries to kill all enemies on the hill. example: 1st round: Shooters: red, victims: blue 2nd round: Shooters: Blue, victims: red

GAME: Knock em off OBJECTIVE: Stay on the platforms while also trying to knock of all of your enemys DESCRIPTION: A very fun game where you must try to be the last man inside the hill, everyone starts off with a rail gun and 2 plasma grenades, when you get knocked off you must pick up a concussion rifle and start trying to knock everyone who is still up off. I have got a really brilliant idea.How about you guys put custom games on the multiplayer and people who got maps and gametypes in their fileshare it randomly chooses someones map and gametype and everyone play it because i've been there where you've had no one to play with custom games so i think it would be an awesome feature if we could play custom games with random people and people who dont have maps can play but it doesnt choose any maps from them and it chooses maps from them who has got it in their fileshare

When many of us are online we will join a party, bring along a headset, and decide what we shall do. If there are only a few of us we may play some Smaller Outlander forge maps, or head over to spartan ops to level up, do challenges or some smaller games on matchmaking. When we are online Matchmaking or just having fun, the 'Outlanders' may have some very strict regulations. It is encouraged that we all use the 'Outlander Insignia'. The Howling wolf, featured in out banner at the top of the post. It is a "Green" Primary, "Steel" Secondary and "Forest" Background. We then have the howling wolf with a simple circle background. It is also encouraged that we use "Steel" Primary and "Forest" Secondary armour colours, but not required. Far Cry 3 has been played and Rated by top gaming companies to be in the Top 3 Best 2012 Games I just wanna know why no one is playing it. I bought it because it looked sweet now it's getting all of these sweet reviews and still people aren't playing it. WHY? I'm not a Far Cry 3 advocate trying to make people buy it I just want more people to play it with. It seriously is awesome. It has an awesome story mode. It has sweet multiplayer.
