  1. I just played cod the past 2 hours with a friend, (one of my life's most boring and ridiculous 2 hours)and while waiting for the game countdown to start, there is music depending on the team you are in (most of you know this). And I came up with an idea, why not 343i brings something like this in Halo 4? Or something like Battlefield 3, where music plays in the end of the match depending on victory or defeat? Also it would be cool having the option to enable music during gameplay, with a volume option. Sorry if that has been posted before.
  2. People have been dumping on Halo Reach for awhile, so I wanted people to compare their experiences by ranking each Halo game for both the campaign and the multiplayer. Campaign 1. Halo CE/CEA 2. Halo Reach 3. Halo 2 4. Halo Wars 5. Halo ODST 6. Halo 3 Multiplayer 1. Halo 2 2. Halo CE/CEA (connected Xbox to Xbox for 4-on-4 or 8-man multiplayer) 3. Halo Reach 4, Halo 3 5. Halo ODST 6. Halo Wars
  3. Hey guys was just scouring google for halo 4 information using the 24 hour filter and came across new pictures and information about the Halo 4 Limited Edition. At first glance you see schematics and briefing packets but upon further inspection you get a look at 2 discs. 1 of them is Halo 4, the other could be the Forward Unto Dawn series, or it could be a 2 disc split between campaign and multiplayer. Either way this is a much better look at the Limited Edition and may convince some people to buy it. You get to see the 2 emblems along with armor. Pictures are below.
  4. For many of us Halo Combat Evolved was the reason you bought your Xbox in the first place, for many more halo 2 was the reason you subscribed to Xbox Live. On April 15, 2010 all original Xbox Live title's servers were taken down. 1 week ago was the two year mark since anyone has legitimately played Halo 2 on Xbox live servers. 343 has already taken the initiative to remake Halo: Combat Evolved, the birth of the halo series and, depending on who you talk to, the selling point of the original Xbox. Perhaps 343 and Microsoft can release Halo 2 in November 2012. To commemorate the ten year anniversary of Xbox Live. Depending on the popularity of this thread, the answer you choose in this poll and the amount of 343 and Microsoft associates who see this, it may not be as unrealistic as it may seem. So please, I urge you to answer this poll and give this thread as much attention as possible Love, The abominable hoe man

    Practice Mode

Halo 4 is going to be great. but I'm concerned for the offline players like me. most/ pretty much of all the armor unlocks will be only available through Xbox live. But what if there was a practice mode, let me explain. If there were computer controlled AI players in a new mode called practice. to make this fair you get like 25 % less credits then you would get playing competitive matches with real people. You would be able to change the difficulty like campaign for Noobs or even the most experienced players who want a challenge and practice there skills. I'm not talking about firefight this should be with AI Spartans from the campaign you should be aloud to have the same maps competitive Multiplayer would have. so no specific maps fro this game mode. if 343 reads this its a small price ti pay for some really great fun. for us offline players and some Noobs who cant get any kills on Xbox Live. if you agree make a comment about this Idea.
  6. I have posted an idea of a UNSC version of the scarab (called the UNSC Buffalo) i'd like to know if this vehicle has been put into the game but i cant find a list of confirmed vehicles. If anyone has any links or if a 343 mod can give some hints i'd be very thankfull
  7. Hi, everybody. I'll warn you now that this post is a bit of a rant, but it has a purpose. I hope it brings to light an evolving situation with our Halo multiplayer in the upcoming War Games of Halo 4, and gets my fellow community members seeing something behind all the hype and anticipation that they may be missing. I'm sure that most of you have seen the videos and heard about the new scoring method implemented in some of Halo 4's MP gametypes, like Infinity Slayer and Regicide). You likely have noticed how much more important it will be to play with skill, and allow teammates who are in advantageous situations to work some of their own magic. After all, when a player who gets 3 kills by Assassinations (30 points each) can earn more points than a player who scores 4 kills by Headshots (20 pts each), don't think think we should worry less about getting an average kill by ourselves and more about your team getting an awesome kill by working together? So if Red Team is aiming for quality of kills, while Blue Team is just going for quantity of kills, Red Team may actually win without even having worked as hard as Blue Team, and actually dying more often than them. Such craziness, but it certainly adds a much greater depth to MP madness. Being more or less hammered-out and ready to play, I have a feeling that the scoring values we've seen aren't likely to change (much, if at all). But who knows. While watching the gameplay footage from a couple of Infinity Slayer matches played by some guys from MLG (Elamite, Neighbor, Hoaxer, etc, you know the videos I'm talking about, but click the link if you don't: http://www.youtube.c...slayer gameplay), it becomes obvious that teamwork will become much more important in H4 WG, particularly in Infinity Slayer. Now, I find myself with a question. Not so much a question that requires an answer, but a question just to think about. It's a question for the entire Halo fan community, and, more importantly, for the lone wolves who play team games and then don't play as part of the team. Are you ready to play nice with your teammates? I can't help but think of Halo players who think only of themselves and their K/D ratio and stats. The kind of players who purposely Yoink your kill when you're in the middle of an Assassination. The kind of players who demand that you give them that power weapon and betray you to get it. The kind of players who have made me reluctant to play MP unless I'm playing with a friend. In games like Infinity Slayer, teams that are evenly matched, and they should be, can have some pretty intense games going on where the scores are neck-and-neck for the lead. Picture this: You're in a match and both teams are within 30pts of victory. You pop an opponent's shield and he rabbits, taking off around a corner. You chase him down, catch up to him and start an Assassination to score the winning 30pts. Suddenly, one of your teammates comes a-trollin' and Yoinks your kill. That guy scores a mere 10pts for the kill, leaving you 5pts for the Assist, and you both lose the match by 15 points. Don't be that guy. It's time to stop competing amongst your own teammates. Even if you end up on a team with a player you hate, rise above it and try to get along. I, myself, last year when I was most active in Reach MP, found myself on teams with former opponents who were at great odds with me. I soon found myself getting along quite well with them. So I know that not all people who seem bad are really bad. They have it in them to play nice. We all do. At the very least, understand that if you see a teammate in a position to score major points for your team, you should let them. Twam willing, karma may yet reign and reward that good behavior. And if you absolutely cannot, will not, and utterly refuse to try to play nicely... Free-For-All gametypes. You want to play matches solo? Go play solo matches. Well, that's enough out of me. I don't know if this will reach the right people, or even if it was necessary. And if it's too long for some people, well that's just sad; go read more books. I don't post often, so I hope that the posts I do make serve their purpose and are well-received. Be well and have fun, everybody. Just not at the expense of one another. Get ready for a new take on the old Halo we know and love. Four months and 14 days left. Blessings of Twam upon you, my children. Edit: The good DoctorB77 pointed out that the scoring system is not as I saw it. In an Infinity Slayer match, the score increases by 10 per kill... Which leaves me to wonder why 343 even bothered to change it from the single-point system, as there isn't then any difference to how rapidly a team reaches the winning score. Sort of a bummer. Even so, the notion of teamwork still stands. Players should be nicer to their teammates and give them their hard-earned time to shine without stealing kills or betraying just because they're doing something that you wanted to do. Ultimately, it's a message of "Play nice, or don't play at all." It's a lesson we learn in Kindergarten. Sort of sad that some people don't remember it.
  8. This is my Halo 4 Wish list. Sorry for my english, I'm french. I actually address this message to 343 industries because... Its a Wish list... XD. Don't be afraid to leave comments. Hi 343 industries, I’m a big fan of the halo franchise. I bought every halo game in the past 10 year and each time the game was getting better. There’s still a few thing that I would love to see in the next Halo 4. I was disappointed to see that those few things were not in Halo reach or Halo Anniversary and this is why I made this little wish list. I know that you are probably almost done with the game but still, this is some add up that could be great to see in the game. Even if I reference to me in this message, keep in mind that there’s a lot of people out there that think like me. Please bring the firefight back for Halo 4!!! I know you removed it but that was one of my favorite playing game types. I hope there is a way to bring it back cause, I had some add on to it that I think it would have been the next step to make it even better… The use of forge for firefight maps and a forge world type map for firefight is something missing in reach and I would love to see that in Halo 4. The use of training Spartan bots for target training and team bots plus the ability of choosing how many friendly bots or enemies bots you want in the game to play multiplayer maps or try your forge maps or even your new maps. Also, put some for firefight map like a coop Spartan bots. I always wanted to have that in a halo game (I finally had to try it on the Xbox in the Call of duty Black ops training game mode type and it was awesome). In firefight, this is one of my first big dreams to see the flood in the customization. I was really, really disappointed to find out that it was not in the Halo Anniversary. I’m a big fan of «Nazi zombie» Call of duty and I would love to see a way to do a firefight zombie game type with the flood. Even the ability to us them in the forge would be awesome. In the halo anniversary firefight, I really liked the ODST but there were to week and they died to quick. If you can bring them back in halo 4 firefight and do something about it, like drop more back after a round or make them a little bit stronger plus, the ability to remove them or add more in the customization would be awesome. The Forge in the Halo Reach had a big step with the Forge World but I think the next step should be to let the people customize and build the entire map. (Like in the Xbox Far cry customization game mode). The ability to choose the size of the map ex: small, medium, large, extra large… The variety of the sandbox background ex: Space, Earth, Halo, Forerunner, Covenants, Floods, cave or more… Plus a way to choose the season and weather like ex: Snow, rain, sunny, blizzard, cloudy, fog… The day light ex: day, night, morning, afternoon… And finally, the control of the environment with different type of ex: water, valleys, grass, rocks, trees, sand, caves, fire, dirt and bumps… Finally, a bigger variety of walls, doors, bridges customization ex. Changing the aspect or the color of the object for a covenant, Forerunner, Human or a Flood look… The possibility to add lights with different color so we can have some shadows in those fans made maps will be a big thumb up. The ability of selecting more then one object at the time will be pretty useful to... And for the pleasure of every one, the possibility of putting some enemy or friendly artificial life form in it ex: covenants, Floods, Spartans, ODSTs, marines or Forerunners. All this would give us a huge step in the forge map construction and a huge variety of fan made map with out just seeing the same boring forge world built map. I hope you will keep and upgrade the Armor customization. I really loved the Reach armory way of «buying» stuff with credits that you earn in the game and I would love to see that with even more stuff to customize and «buy». Just keep in mind that in Halo Reach they were never an update of a new stuff in the armory. If you could think about it and find a way to do that in the Halo 4 it will be a big thumb up to. The visor customization should have more color. I saw in the halo 4 trailer that they were some hexagonal pattern in the visor and if they were a way to customize that symbol pattern like change the color of it or the symbol example: triangle or circle even none… and The ability of putting carve symbol or add on bumps on the visor like the Emile helmet, it would be great to. For the rest, I’m really exiting about it. Except for the lost of the bubble shield that is not really a big lost but still I would love to see it back in multiplayer or firefight. I love the fact that you removed the Armor lock cause I hate to play with it or again it (it was killing the action). Finally, this is not so important but I have one more thing. This was just a personal wish to see back the Halo 1 map, Chill out. I was so disappointed to see that it was not coming back in the Halo Anniversary that I even did a remake in Halo Reach forge world.
  9. With Bungie there was a clan system where you could create, name, and organize leadership roles on their site. Does anyone know if this could be a upcomming feature?
  10. Does anyone know if there will be Halo 2 and halo reaches "instant hit" for the bullets, or will it be like halo 3 where we have to lead and aim your shots, And does anyone know if there will be the halo 2 halo reach ranking system Or will it have halo 3s BS Ranking system?
  11. So, in the headline on halo waypoint, there was the news of the Halo 4 Limited Edition. One of those bits of news was that in the limited edition would give a download for an Assault Rifle weapon skin. So, i think, that its not weapon camo like in CoD. But, in reality just different ways for your guns to look. The same gun. Just looking differnt. I.E. classic BR skin? And even with different color skins, like in gears 3, would make the game even more personal so to say. The "my Spartan and my weapon" meantality. Thoughts?
  12. Ok before anyone attacks me i just want to let you know i am a diehard Halo fan ever since Halo CE. But im gonna be honest, i can't sit by and watch Halo be torn apart like it is going to be by 343 industries. I started out with a good view on 343 industries but i am upset by there total destruction of the Halo multiplayer! In this recent video released they discussed some points of the Halo 4 multiplayer (http://www.gameinfor...spx?PageIndex=4). From the sounds of it 343 is selling out Halo multiplayer for basically the "popular" style of gameplay. "Custom loadouts" i mean come on thats totally there attempt to suck over people that play COD and Battlefield. They are trying to be to much like the "cool kids" (if you don't mind my hit on teenage social lifes haha). I always liked Halo because of the way it was, it gave each player an equal opportunity at the start of the game. Anybody could pick up the weapons experienced or inexperienced, kind of a level playing field in my mind, and the person that could dominate this level playing field was obviously the more experienced player. But now from the sounds of it, its going to be like COD were the person that has played more and has bought the most stuff will win. Which in my mind ruins the competitive feeling of Halo. Also forerunner vision? seeing through walls? WTF thats totally going to be a huge advantage for players that will use it properly. But i just want to know what you guys think about this. So let me know what you think. Vote please and feel free to leave some responses too.
  13. Attention 343 Industries: Please develop halo 4 multiplayer so that it will no longer be nessasary to quit/credit ban people who have paid good money to play this game. It seems unethical to sell someone a product then ban them when they can't use it correctly. Not only unethical just down right mean. I know of no other major game maker that does this. Multiplayer problems can be resolved without resorting to banning people. Thank you.
  14. I just wanted to put this idea out there, i know many have probably had this idea as well. How it would work: you go into the lobby, just like any other MM game type lobby, but before you press start matchmaking, a message comes up and asks "Would you like to host a custom game?", if you select yes, you will be more likely to be the leader of the group and be able to pick the game type and map, just like a private custom game. Another way people may be able to do this is make a server browser of the games that are public to anybody and be able to join random people's games. In the options of your custom game would be the choice to make the game: Private, Open to friends, Open, or Open to matchmaking, in which the latter would open up your game type to ANYBODY looking in the server browser for custom games. The reason I came up with this idea was because some people don't have friends that always want to join a custom game when they would rather do a normal matchmaking slayer game type instead. Just my idea, if you feel you have improvements or concerns, please post them, i'm really hoping 343 will look at this for Halo 4, (might be a little late) or any of the next halo games.
  15. Does anyone remember the numbers in the top right during the Halo 4 First Look video that were supposedly grenade slots? Now those were never confirmed but it seemed pretty likely that they were. Well in the GameInformer Magazine leaked photos the slots for these grenades have switched sides which has me really confused and skeptical. Here is the pic from the First Look ViDoc: This is the new pic from the GI leak: Could this be because of a different game type or how could this be explained? Note: There are more grenades in the images from the GameInformer pic than the one from the First Look ViDoc.
  16. What is your Favorite thing about Halo? Mine is Campaign because I just keep wanting to know what happens next.
  17. I luv Master Chief and Halo franchise. I've Been with it since the originals(xbox & halo). But after playing HALO: REACH and creating my own character(noble6 armor), I'm not looking forward to being limited to playing only Master Chief again. Am I the only one who feels this way? And is there some way to let 343 Industries know It would be wonderful if they could allow REACH characters to be used in multiplayer games?

    Cyclops MK 2

We'll unless you live in a cave, you have watched the Halo 4: First Look Vidoc. In the video you see this giant mech, which is called the Cyclops MK 2. We all know the Cyclops was from halo wars, some 20 years before halo 1, and that it was retired and out dated because of the new spartan armors. In the video it looks A LOT bigger than the halo wars counter part (as in it's higher, bulkier, ect.. from what it looked like in Halo Wars), is it safe to say that we might be capable of driving one. or fighting along side it in the game. Hell, for all we know it could be it's own custom game, Cyclops Slayer! Can we get a thread going with pictures of the Cyclops and what the purpose would be, if it will be drive-able or not, and the weapons that we can see in the video.
  19. Interviews with Frank O'Connor http://www.metacafe....g_shocase_2012/ http://www.gamereactor.eu/news/19161/Halo+4%3A+Frank+O'Connor+Interview/ 343 Halo 4 Documentary http://www.gamesrada...-behind-scenes/ List of Halo 4 quasi-vague specifics http://www.msxbox-wo...ation-more.html Game Informer Article http://www.gameinfor...se-details.aspx GameTrailers Article: describing multiplayer maps Halo 4 Brings Big Changes to Multiplayer With Story-driven Spartan on Spartan Battles, Says 343 Industries Kotaku Article: more multiplayer information http://kotaku.com/58...-look-at-halo-4 Summary of Main Topics Covered -They stressed that character development would be a key focus of the next entry in the series, and that fans will learn much more about Master Chief. Halo’s protagonist will be facing a new threat “unlike anything he’s seen before,” and O’Connor told me that this threat will make a significant impact on both the narrative and the gameplay.- GI -"He will still be very stoic. He will not talk a lot, nor will he cry, but there is a piece of his humanity that we do want to come through and really express that with the decisions that we have the player make as they embody Chief, and the things that he needs to face and so for us 'dimensionalizing' him isn’t changing him. Because, frankly, he’s really well fleshed out in other areas of the universe. It’s really just bringing more of that to the game experience."- GT -Cortana is also set to play a pivotal role in the game, but Wolfkill and O’Connor didn’t elaborate on her status.- GI -"The entire multiplayer experience from soup to nuts is completely immersed in the fiction, as is the campaign," O'Connor said. "Every single element of multiplayer, from the simplest game of Team Slayer all the way up to the more interesting experiences that we'll talk about later this year are going to be fully immersed. Everything that you do when you're in multiplayer will have an impact on your Spartan's career."- GT -O’Connor spoke about how the campaign and multiplayer felt like they existed in separate worlds in previous games, and the team wants to change that. They want both modes to feel like they’re part of the same universe, and there will even be an explanation in the story that illustrates why red Spartans fight blue Spartans in multiplayer.- GI -"We're absolutely creating multiplayer levels from scratch," O'Connor stressed. "These are not play spaces that are recycled from the campaign. They're purpose built with competitive in mind."- GT -The maps won't be lifted from the campaign but rather have been created specifically to allow for balanced gameplay. When asked about balancing the multiplayer for MLG pro-gaming, O'Connor said that they are taking MLG seriously, but didn't go into detail as to what exactly that meant.- Ko -O'Connor and Kiki Wolfkill, executive producer at 343 Industries, showed off some of that multiplayer in the form of two Halo 4 maps: Warhouse and Wraparound. Warhouse is human-built industrial complex, an abandoned military base, that orbits a gas giant. Its most prominent feature was the giant Cyclops II being constructed or repaired in that base. Wraparound was a Forerunner multiplayer map, a solar facility that fuses and creates the artificial sun that powers a Forerunner Shield World. They were architecturally impressive, beautifully lit and what one might expect from a Halo multiplayer map if they were hoping for interesting looking multiplayer maps.- GT -It sounds as though multiplayer will be tied more to the fiction this time around, with a story-based reason explaining why so many spartans are duking it out all over the galaxy.- Ko -Spartan IVs will be introduced in this sequel, and they’re (as expected) bigger, faster, and stronger than the Spartans we’ve seen in Halo’s past.- GI -In multiplayer, characters will control Spartan 4s, which are a new type of Spartan super-soldier; there will be a wealth of customization options for your Spartan. Some of those options will be cosmetic, but some will be functional.- Ko -O'Connor and Wolfkill wouldn't elaborate on the functionality of this system, but they did say it would be deeper than the loadouts of Reach.- GI -They also hinted at some sort of coming announcement that will be a "crossing of the rubicon" for the Halo series. While hype is hype and blind items are blind, it did sound as though they are convinced that some aspect of Halo 4 will be seen as a large change to the core of the series.- Ko "O'Connor also focused on another key point, that player customization is no longer just aesthetic. "It has an impact on gameplay," he said. But that, like Halo 4's "big change, the big rubicon," is something 343 isn't detailing just yet. "It's a completely new way to play with your friends in MP and it's something I hate to tease, but its something we'll be illuminating you on later in the year."- GT -It's nice to get any info at all about the upcoming FPS blockbuster, but the Spring Showcase didn't bring us any significant answers regarding storyline, multiplayer direction, or release date. We may not know much as of now, but O'Connor ended the presentation by teasing the announcement of a "big ticket item" later this year.- GI
  20. Alright we all. Know the epicness that is the commentator of halo mulitplayer...double kill, killing spree etc uk ... Du u guys want the voice to stay? Or du u guys have any requests for a new voice instead? Let me know!
  21. After playing the title update for a little while me and my friends have come to the conclusion that reach is no longer halo. A couple of my friends are die hard halo fans nd theyre considering selling there copy because its so broken and i agree with them. Now i realize some you guys like the update because its more like call of duty. Well then you have no business playing halo. Every game has its own unique play style. Through the previous halos they always have kept th e same play style(by they i mean Bungie). Reach had the same feel too but after 343 released the title update its nothing like what halo players have been used to and enjoying before. In my opinion and my friends as well 343 needs to release an update to take away the changes or what would be the best would be to set everything back to the beta. And when i say everything i mean everything game type settings weapons abilities vehicle everything. Do that or at least make a playlist with beta settings because i believe that would bring a lot of halo fans back.
  22. Here are my thoughts on Halo 4. Alright, lets Begin! Weapons: The weapons I think are returning are the Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Sniper, Pistol, and Rocket Launcher. Why? Well because those have been some of the Main Weapons in all Halo's. If not them, then probably different versions of them. Also, I'm not to sure for Covenant Weapons, because we are done with them right? Maybe the Elites will become Allies though, therefore returning some Covenant weapons. I do NOT think Bloom, Armor Abilities or any Reach weapons will make a return, since their not in canon with Halo 4. And well, they suck... They might be for certain playlist's or Custom Games though. What I'm trying to say is that since we've had 3 games set after Reach, it wouldn't make sense for things that only appeared in Halo: Reach, to be in Halo 4. Because you then have to wonder, why the didn't appear in any of the games after Reach. Vehicles: I think the Mongoose, Warthog (confirmed), Tank, and the Hornet will make a return. Along with other vehicles like the Pelicans. And maybe the Elephant for Multiplayer? Armor: Some of the Halo 3 "Fan-Favorite" Armor like Recon and Hayabusa will make a return, and the rest will probably be new ones 343 have made.. Also, this gets me thinking... If were done with the Covenant, then does that mean no more Elite Armor? Not too sure.. They'll probably be back somehow. Probably as Allies. Forge: Forge I think, is going to be flat-out AWESOME! I personally think theres going to be new tools like the rumored "Glue", "Copy and Paste", and "Undo" option. And stuff like Weather/Terrain Control, Environment Editing (Trees, rocks), Drop-Pods, Sliding Doors. And maybe even stuff like broken Vehicles and Blood Stains for Machinimas or Realism. Copy and Paste: Instead of re-creating a piece. Just copy it and place it somewhere else on the map. Undo: Lets you undo any mistakes like accidently deleting stuff on accident. Glue: If you need to, instead of having to move a creation piece by piece somewhere else. Just select the glue option to make it all one option. Flood Fight/FireFight: I think there should be a new version of FireFight called Flood Fight. Where you square off in survival against waves of Flood. Kind of like Halo: CEA'S Mission: The Library. It could also maybe become a New Infection Gametype, where players square off 8v8. One team are players who spawn as Flood Forms who try to Infect you. While the other team are players who spawn as Spartans trying to Survive until the Round is Over. I did not come up with this idea, but have revised and wrote the way I think it should be. As for Good ol' Firefight. I think they just need to Re-Vamp or make it a little more like Halo 3: ODST. Matchmaking: Matchmaking is probably going to stay close to how it usually is, maybe some new Game Modes. But I would really just want it to go back to the style of Halo 1, 2, and 3. And have the Ranking System go Back to Halo 2 and 3. It was Legit. And if Elites are back, then I want them and the Spartans to be equal's again like Halo 3. Also, not a Kill-Cam like in Call of Duty, But at the end of each game. A video pops up showing the Game Winning Kill. What do you think? Also, an idea of mine, is to make a new Playlist called "ODST". Where it is basically the same as regular matchmaking, but everyone are ODST's. The health system would be based off the game Halo: 3 ODST. And maybe when the Game starts, You and your team spawn in Drop-Pods. I think that would be pretty epic. Here are some Game-Types I came up with: ODST Team Slayer - 4v4 Slayer ODST Rumble Pit - Free for All ODST CTF - 4v4 Capture the Flag ODST FireFight - Classic Firefight ODST Swat - 4v4 Team Swat with the Killer ODST Magnum It seems like it would create and attract a New Halo Fan-Base. And suit some of the Halo Universe who love the playing style of Halo 3: ODST, more than regular Halo. It would also be nice to try something new. And just so we're all clear, I don't mean the whole matchmaking. But just a small playlist to play this in. I just think this would bring in a whole new fan-base and group of players. It would create a whole new community, and you could play something a little different if you ever got bored of playing as a spartan in Multi-Player. Well thats all I got now, tell me what you think... UPDATE: If your going to vote, vote here and also here: Click
  23. I immediately wanted to return the game when I realized after purchase that it was not actually the Halo 1 remake. I am busy about 99% of the time, and the only free time I had I watched youtube videos of how the multiplayer was going to be halo 1 remade. I'm not sure if this holds true to anyone else, but I was not informed that the game was no longer seeking that goal. Knowing this I would not have purchased the game, and I had no choice to be able to return it because of the game store. The single player is amazing. Every weapon and graphics hold true to the original. Why couldn't this be the multiplayer? I hear about splitting the fanbase. The fanbase is there because of the original Halo, nothing else. If it wasn't for Halo: CE Xbox wouldn't have gotten where it is today, and Xbox 360 may have never even existed. I would have gladly paid $100 or more to get the multiplayer update how the campaign is. The fact that I paid $40 for something that wasn't made clear I was getting is a disappointment in the least. If you didn't want to split the fanbase don't announce the remake of halo 1 and get everyone excited. At this point I'm truly skeptical of buying 343i games at all in case I get something I felt like I didn't pay for.
