  1. First of all, 343 didn't create an entirely new game, so many of the things that are "better" to you, was created by bungie in the first place, especially considering the fact that many employees stayed with microsoft to join 343 when Bungie bought themselves out. Secondly, how do you think it would be even remotely possible to create an MMO like WoW, on Xbox? Have you ever played WoW? because there's too many buttons on a keyboard to transfer onto an Xbox controller. If you mean just an MMO on the Xbox where many people can group up to complete an objective, yes that would be cool, but very difficult with the engine required and the Xbox now couldn't do it, maybe next-gen consoles, maybe. And if you mean just an RPG fantasy game for Xbox, there's this wonderful game called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it's pretty awesome, not to mention countless others like Fable, Dragon Age etc. I simply wanted to clear up that thought about WoW on Xbox. Back to the topic, I don't think that they should make an MMO for Halo, it seems like it would shift the series in a new direction, and that isn't what I want, of course, my humble opinion doesn't matter. While i have no doubt that it would be succesful, (that is, more succesful than The Old Republic) but Halo is simply an FPS game built around a community, and i feel that the game would leave a lot of the fans behind and maybe get a new following, which is certainly not what i want. Although, if they did make an MMO, I would have no doubt that i would try it out.
  2. Sandtrap, Sidewinder, a better Coagulation/Blood Gulch, and Zanzibar would be fantastic.
  3. that's mostly what i was thinking, it would definitely need to be unranked, and @ Mr. Dino, i was thinking that too, but i would be happy with it in halo 5. as long as it comes someday. but i would imagine they could put it in a DLC or patch though if not released with the game at first. Much like rent-A-Server was with Battlefield 3.
  4. I just wanted to put this idea out there, i know many have probably had this idea as well. How it would work: you go into the lobby, just like any other MM game type lobby, but before you press start matchmaking, a message comes up and asks "Would you like to host a custom game?", if you select yes, you will be more likely to be the leader of the group and be able to pick the game type and map, just like a private custom game. Another way people may be able to do this is make a server browser of the games that are public to anybody and be able to join random people's games. In the options of your custom game would be the choice to make the game: Private, Open to friends, Open, or Open to matchmaking, in which the latter would open up your game type to ANYBODY looking in the server browser for custom games. The reason I came up with this idea was because some people don't have friends that always want to join a custom game when they would rather do a normal matchmaking slayer game type instead. Just my idea, if you feel you have improvements or concerns, please post them, i'm really hoping 343 will look at this for Halo 4, (might be a little late) or any of the next halo games.
