  1. It's not going to happen. ONI is trying to weaken the Sangheili race (even possibly eliminate). It's interesting, but sorry, it's not going to happen.
  2. Bring Back the Original Grunts! Halo 4 was an amazing game, graphic wise and story wise. However, this small change has made it lose its 'Halo' feeling. The little voices of Grunts. Yes, strange. However, don't you miss just running around and keeping a couple of the critters alive just to taunt them? Hearing the common word of 'nipple,' or the absolute nonsense of a Grunt panicking, trying to hide behind the rest of the pack or behind a Sangheili. Hearing the Grunts even try to taunt you, but to fail miserably, allowing you to have a little laugh. Most importantly, their little voices. The voices were amazing. The voices also can help mediate you while playing Halo on Legendary. In Halo 4, there's nothing to help you be 'happy' while playing. All you really get is raspy voices, that really only tick you off. But the memories of past Halo's on Legendary. At the moments of most anguish, you'd hear a little squeaky voice of a Grunt, either in panic or taunting. This always made me laugh a little at least, and helped motivate to go on. Lastly, the look. The look of the original Grunts fit them, and I actually kinda miss it. They now look like turtles that are in heat. Hopefully, 343 will bring back the original Grunts. Most importantly their voices! (Including the comical language.) Thanks for reading! Comment please, and be sure to vote!
  3. It just wouldn't seem logical. The main Covenant is now completely destroyed, and now it's just really only Jul 'Mdama (and possibly 'Telcam, a different leader of the split Covenant) that's the leader of a new Covenant. Brutes are really just helpers for the Elites at the time being, well, the ones who didn't rebel. Really, they just can't come back, it really wouldn't work. The only reason Brutes came to power was because the Prophets decided the Elites were not good protectors. The Brutes are basically slaves, and kinda serve as how African Americans did back in the 1930's. I'm not racist, but that's the best thing I can compare it to. The planet is called Sanghelios. The race is "Sangheili."
  4. I did try google translate, just out of curiosity. It appears to translate to, "Death Dictates." If that's what it means I think it's pretty cool.
  5. No, at least that wasn't in the books at all. However, Requiem was, and some other shield world was also destroyed but I don't remember how. Onyx is the only last known shield world, and Humans are using it as a base. I agree they weren't really connected, but they could help factor into other events. I am hoping people could use these ideas and see what they can come up with and tie them together. Thanks for your feedback!
  6. Karen Traviss to Publish Final Installment for the Kilo-Five Trilogy! The Kilo-Five trilogy had a previous number of 2 books, which were Halo: Glasslands, and Halo: The Thursday War. These books were based on the events months after the Halo 3 conclusion, and led up to the events in Halo 4. Also some more to factor into the rest of the Halo Trilogy/Saga. Be sure to read the previous novels before continuing to the latest installment! The next novel is named, "Halo: Mortal Dictata." It is to be released in January of 2014. Kilo-Five Trilogy Order: Halo: Glasslands Halo: The Thursday War Halo: Mortal Dictata Please feel free to read my topic on likely events for upcoming Halo games: Click Here!
  7. I do hope there will be more, just not fast paced (as in a gamer per year). I agree with NinetysBorn!
  8. She shouldn't come back to make Chief and the players feel absolutley hopeless. However, the Librarian did mention that there is a way to bring back Artificial Intelligence.
  9. Having a boat in Halo would be neat, however, for sure we will have to wait for the next Halo game. In fact, this reminds me.... Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fW6LA6o7920
  10. You do realize on the 7th, there's a repopulating thing in Halo 3. It's going to be a big event. So basically, just play Halo 3 on July 7th, and there will be tons of gamers online!
  11. It really shouldn't. It's one of the largest games holding up the Xbox counsel(s). Plus, Jesus do you have any idea how expensive the computer you would need to even run that game/next generation games? Really, most people cannot afford, nor would want to risk paying all that money for the processors. Really, they would lose money for distributing it for PC, for not many people would get it for PC. My friend has a custom built computer (payed nearly $3000 now) and still cannot run certain games. Really, it would be best not to risk it.
  12. Try clearing your system cache. It may work.
  13. Cortana could read it through the system while Chief had his hands on the controls. She can transfer data out of his suit when he touches objects. The controls had data stored about the Didact.
  14. Here's one: there was a race before the Forerunners, known as the "Precursors."
  15. I do believe Halsey will try to get revenge, but not to put humanity at risk. She has been through a lot, for her past is catching up to her. You can tell she is heartless, so really she'll do anything. But, like I said, she's not dumb enough to put Humanity at stake.
  16. She's not wholly important, however she'll eventually fill in a spot.
  17. This will have accurate guesses for the upcoming Halo games. I based these theories off of the books I have read which indeed will contain spoilers. Books I have read - Halo: Glasslands, Halo: The Thursday War, and other Halo insights I will begin to discuss the manner of ONI's plan for the planet, Sanghelios, home of the Sangheili (aka Elites). In the book, Halo: Glasslands, Jul 'Mdama (the head of the Covenant fleet in Halo 4) sets off to find what his partner 'Telcam is up to, for 'Telcam was acting suspicious. Jul and 'Telcam are both planning to overthrow the Arbiter and 'Telcam is to take his place as leader. So, when 'Telcam leaves, Jul follows him then to discover 'Telcam is recieving human aid against the Arbiter. I'll explain later why humans are doing this. Anyway, Jul is caught, but not by 'Telcam, however by a spartan. Jul is then taken prisoner by humans. 'Telcam doesn't know about this, nor did he know he was followed by Jul in the first place. This eventually leads to the next book, "The Thursday War." While Jul is imprisoned, which was at ONIRF Trevelyan (aka Onyx), he was tested on (via food) to see how he reacts to certain chemicals and so. Basically being poisoned. Eventually, Humans tell Jul what their plan is. To poison the food supply of the planet Sanghelios. To basically torture Jul, making him feel hopeless. Eventually he escapes through a portal (humans let him wander outside in Onyx, for they didn't know there were portals), where it drops him on Sanghelios. There, he appeared in thin air, and a few Sangheili had seen this. There was actually a 'prophecy' to find the Didact that these Elites knew of, and Jul matched it. Jul then also finds out that his wife died during the Civil War. Thus Jul (he doesn't believe in the gods anymore) uses this prophecy and gods to create a fleet against the humans, for vengance of his wife and to stop the human domination. Basically, ONI is wanting the Elites to kill themselves out via Civil War. To weaken themselves, and then ONI would poison the food supply. This would kill off nearly all of the Sangheili (Plan proven in books!). The ones who survive would be weak, and most likely their reproductive systems would be damaged. Thus completely wiping out the Sangheili race. If Chief does find out their plan, and the plan to kill Catherine Halsey (she was like a mother to John), he may go rogue. Also Cortana's death may factor. Now, there was actually a race before the Forerunners, called the Precursors. The Forerunners killed them off, supposidely, but the Precursors created the Flood. They seem to be very important in this manner. Possibly, the Precursors will return, maybe they all weren't dead. If so, this would be too much for humanity to handle. And if they kill off the Elites, they got rid of their best line of defence. Now to ONIRF Trevelyan (Onyx). Onyx is a shield world that is a shelter from the Halo Rings... Hmm.... Which was in the book Glasslands and The Thursday War, which they make it seem to be very important, very. Quite possibly, this is a huge theory, this will factor in another Halo launch. The books kinda seemed to foreshadow something, but it's unclear. Possibly, the Precursors, if they come back, and the flood will be so powerful maybe a Halo launch will be humanities last resort? Chief would probably factor in big time. Maybe the gift the Librarian gave Chief was to survive the Halo Array, for he survived the Composer. He might only be the one who can fire the rings, possibly if this were to happen. So then humans/other races will try to get to Onyx, and maybe not all life will make it to Onyx, maybe most life will be wiped out from the Halo's. I'm sure this will become pretty dark if they do this. The Halo's however will have to come into play again. What do you think of this theory? Give me your thoughts!
  18. Oh definitely. Those two books I read actually makes you understand why Jul 'Mdama (the leader of the split Covenant who are on Requiem) is fighting the humans, I don't blame him and I would too. In Spartan Ops he's the antagonist, he is in a sense in the books, but you come to understand him and his reasoning. You learn also the secrets of Infinity, and of ONI. It also explains how Catherin Halsey survived and so-so. Glasslands was a bit of a slow book, but you have to read it to have an understanding of The Thursday War book.
  19. Very interesting! One thing I'd like to see is the aftermath of the Covenant civil war. I'v read both Glasslands and The Thursday War books. The Thursday War book left a lot of people in question what's going to happen due to ONI's plan with Sanghelios, which isn't good at all. I won't say so nothing is spoiled. I think were gonna probably see a Déjà vu situation, because Thel 'Vadam (Arbiter) won't be pleased at all to find out what's going on. I'm wondering how 343 is going to finish this story while finishing Chiefs story, filler games maybe?
  20. Well, I believe the Arbiter will be in Halo 5, by reading the books, HALO: Glasslands and HALO: The Thursday War... The Thursday War book left you "suspended" of something serious the humans are planning to do to Sanghelios. All I can say is, the Arbiter won't take it lightly. I won't spoil it for you, though...
  21. I can agree, I hate basic shooters. I'm sure I will like Halo 4, just nervous over how different the story is.
  22. Woot! The Sangheili are so cool! But I'm so angry after reading Halo: Glasslands, pisses me off what humans did (not gonna spoil it) Have an awesome day
  23. Halo 2 definitely, it had the most complex and most best story of them all, that's what Halo is mainly about. A true Halo fan loves the story (you can like the other stories better on the other games of course) but what i mean is when people go, "I'm a fan of Halo, I only play online!" *Not a true fan there! That's just an online gameplay fan
