  1. Karen Traviss to Publish Final Installment for the Kilo-Five Trilogy! The Kilo-Five trilogy had a previous number of 2 books, which were Halo: Glasslands, and Halo: The Thursday War. These books were based on the events months after the Halo 3 conclusion, and led up to the events in Halo 4. Also some more to factor into the rest of the Halo Trilogy/Saga. Be sure to read the previous novels before continuing to the latest installment! The next novel is named, "Halo: Mortal Dictata." It is to be released in January of 2014. Kilo-Five Trilogy Order: Halo: Glasslands Halo: The Thursday War Halo: Mortal Dictata Please feel free to read my topic on likely events for upcoming Halo games: Click Here!
  2. In the First look into halo 4 they mention that there are two books coming out: one from Karen Traviss, and one from Greg Bear in the Forunner series. Greg's books is not coming out until after halo 4 is released. I have two theories on why this is. 1st on is obvious that he will not have enough time to finish the book before the game comes out. In the first look they said that there is a specific reason to why it is comming out after the game release which leads me to think for my 2nd reason that is has specific information that cannot be found out until halo 4's release such as: who is the enemy, what happens to the ship at the end of Primordium (mabye it will show up in halo 4) things like that. Now also what do you think the new Karen Traviss book will be; sequel to glasslands or not, plot, what will relation be to halo 4(possibly with the spartans) i want to see what you think.
  3. In this topic i want to say my thoughts on the direct link and hypothesised links of the Karen traviss novels and the halo 4 story, first one being glasslands and a new one comming out soon. Already we see a relation to glasslands with the mention of spartan IVs and the Infinity by Parangosky near the end of the book. With the rogue cevenent species on the chip Master chief gets attacked by could possibly be the Sangheilli followers who, might of lost the rebellion against the Arbiter for the older styler looking armor they wear. It could be possible that BB the AI could be a major part in the Multiplayer story such as a replacement for Cortana and the Chief relationship. The multiplayer missions could have alot of relation to the rebels you read about in glasslands. that the Infinity and the Chief will confront each other durring halo 4. Alot of the spatans II's and Spartan III's survived and may end up assisting chief near the end of halo 4 with the arbiter (or separete, this one is more of a "I think it would be cool if") Most of these things will not be known until the New Karen Traviss book comes out, until then what are your thoughts or what relatoins have you seen in Glasslands and what might be in the New novel.
