I like how they were tougher, creepier looking, and I love damage sponges.

I don't know about any one else, but I would love to see the Brutes at least make some sort of appearance in Halo 5. I understand they are not at the numbers of what they were in previous halo titles, but none the less I would love to see a Chieftain with a gravity hammer go up against Promethean Knight. I understand some people are sick of Brutes and may not want them, but I think They are at least owed an appearance of some sort. Not just a cinematic scene either, but something physically in the game. I know the story might not allow for this but still would be cool in my book.

A couple of weeks ago I made a remake of a old Halo 3 Commercial in gmod. The commercial was called: "Believe" I'll show you mine first, then the original... Mine: Here's the original from 2007: I tried to be as true to the original as possible, but with Garry's mod some things must be altered. I made this because I thought it would go good with the mercenaries of tf2 vs. the robots, compared to humanity fighting the covenant. The parallel is made when you see the TF2 characters fighting for their very lives against a seemingly endless foe, the same way we fought the covenant...

Hey there, here is my wish list for Halo 5 from the eyes of a pure custom game gamer. Here's some background of my opinions. Other than the Campaign (I love every Halo's campaign mode), Halo 4 wasn't that great for me. It basically was lots of Halo: Reach's features with a splash of "Modern Shooters". Don't leave yet, that isn't all I'm saying. I ACTUALLY liked that about it, cause it drew in some fresh players from other fan bases, and hopefully our community can turn them into decent human beings. Note that I'm mostly talking about migrating Call of Duty players when I'm talking about indecent human beings. Anyways, the point is it was nothing new (Other than the Spartan Ops missions, but I stopped playing those when they started reusing maps. It was not what I expected from "New Experiences over time!") Now, what I always loved about Halo games was that each new title gave new revolutionary items to play with in custom games. Halo 2 gave us dual wielding, melee weapons, custom game options, armor colors, and online gameplay (Which I didn't use at the time). Halo 3 gave us FORGING, better custom gametypes, Brute vehicles, theater mode, custom armor, and persistent skulls (I played this game for 3 years STRAIGHT). Halo 3: ODST gave us firefight and preunlocked skulls (EWW). Halo: Reach gave us even better Forging, even better custom game types, a credit system, forge world and game loadouts. No brute vehicles, but that is expected, this being before the brutes replaced the elites. Now lets look at Halo 4. + Better forging options + Spartan Ops + "Modern Shooter" custom loadouts. - Custom Game options are now MUCH LESS custom. - All weapons spawned in now have to come in ordinance pods - All weapons on a map now have arrows above them - No forge world-like maps. - No brute vehicles - No dual wielding - Pre-unlocked skulls in Campaign. (REALLY? HUNTING THOSE WAS FUN.) - No custom powerups, invisiblity is only an armor ability and overshield is only a ordinance. - Less gametypes My point is, don't cut half the features of Halo 3 and Reach. Add on to them. And think of something NEW. (Taking stuff from other games ISN'T the same as adding new stuff!) I literately only played Halo 4 for a couple of weeks before it got boring. It was like I played the game before. Now for the actual list. 1. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX FLOOD MODE. 2. I want to hunt down skulls again. 3. The Promethean knights to LOOK DIFFERENT FROM EACHOTHER. I'm sure the precursor human's traits had effects on the knight's traits! I can't tall the differences between them without looking at their guns! 4. DUAL WIELDING. 5. No grayed out options in the custom gametype editing menu. 6. Brute vehicles and weapons and Human flying vehicles. 7. Elites and brutes. 8. More players in bigger maps. I want a new gamemode where it's a massive battle on a huge map with lots of people fighting for territories (Like Planetside 2) Drop in like ODST's in any territory you own. Earn up credits that you can spend to call in supply drops, air support, or vehicles. I would play this gamemode forever. (Yes, I know the difference between a gametype and gamemode, if you don't, Firefight and Spartan Ops are gamemodes, while Slayer and CTF are gametypes.) 9. Screw ordinance. I want the weapons I place in forge to appear in all gametypes the way I placed them. Leave ordinance to #8. 10. No loading when turning from monitor mode to player modes. In Halo: Reach, the fastest and funnest way to travel in Forge World was to fly fast in monitor mode up and forward, then turn into a spartan and fly through the air. 11. Characters to show more respect to the Chief. 12. If you are letting us customize our loadouts in multiplayer, let me use a freaking shotgun. 13. Forge pallets and weather. 14. More 7 references. Also, off topic, Halo Wars 2 please!

I have an idea for Halo 5. Adding Brutes back in to Campaign and as a possible Multiplayer species, like the Elites in Halo 2, 3, and Reach. In the Campaign, it would be more like in Halo 2 and Reach, as in, not replacing the Elites, but being a more "heavy" than a leader class. Plus, adding back in the Brute Shot and Spike Grenades. Thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone shared the same views as I, in the field that we should have at least a minor say in the creation/management of future titles in the Reclaimer Trilogy, since we as an xbox community told Microsoft what we didn't want with the Xbox One and they changed it, regardless that is was mainly shaped by money. This led me to think if MS would listen then certainly 343 would, anyway vote and discuss.

Throughout the Halo saga, humanity has been plagued with deadly foes. First it was the Flood; then the Insurrectionists (Innies); then the Covenant; and most recently the Prometheans. So I ask you: Which was your favorite, which wasn't, and which would work best in Halo 5? Feel free add ideas for entirely new reasons, or support your own opinion of which is the best/worst. Thanks for all the support in the previous Volume; here's to many future Volumes to come!

What do you think about a game variant in multiplayer where you could choose to be any one of several Halo characters (Brutes, Elites, Spartans, Flood, Promethean Knights or Hunters)? I am not sure what I think about it at this point, but I wanted to put it out there and see what other folks in the community think about this. I would not want every variant to have this, just a specific game variant. You would be able to customize each of the characters similar to the way we customize the Spartan armor, loadouts, specialties, etc. What do you think?

What's up with Brutes? When I began playing Halo 4, and I learned that I'd be fighting Storm Covenant, a group that split from the main body, I thought "Great, maybe I'll finally get to fight Brutes and Elites at the same time!", but then I saw there were no Brutes in the game at all. Now, I know that Elites and Brutes hate each other, and that if I happened across a mixed group of them, it'd probably be reminiscent of the Covenant-Flood encounters in Halo: Combat Evolved. But still, I think they easily could have thrown that into the game. Brutes and Elites fighting over which race gets to control the rebellion, if it can be called that. Maybe they will. They certainly have to do something with Brutes in the next two games. Another idea: After playing through Halo 3: ODST on LASO, one may, as I have, develop an intense desire to visit the Brute home world and utterly destroy their race. I think that'd make a great game, as would so many other things in the Halo Universe. It doesn't even have to be Master Chief. It can be a Spartan-IV, but I'd prefer if you got to play as the Arbiter, or some Elite. The story could be that the Covenant, having overthrown the Prophets and others of their race and beating back the Brutes, were still being raided and harassed by the Brutes, and so they decide to move in on their home planet and eradicate them. However morbid it may be, I'd love to go into a building, find a little three-year old Brute, and smash its face in. ODST on LASO does that to you... Halo 4 was a fantastic game even without Brutes, let's just not forget they exist.

Why are the elites being stupid? Master Chief is 7ft Elites are 8ft, you don't need to jump to get on the back of the Elites, in Halo: Reach the 'Spartan 3's' are shorter because they are human Spartans. Also there are no brutes in Halo 4, I do not think of this game as a new 'game' I think it is a new campaign for Halo: Reach. I can't wait to buy the game but I just don't like the fact there are no brutes, the elites can be in the game because of story line reasons like that Elites are in the Covenant but Brutes are a major part of the Halo 2 and Halo 3 campaigns. Its a shame that Brutes could not be coded in the game engine because of laziness, forgetfulness or whatever reason. I cannot wait to buy the game, I know these things because the video leeks on YouTube of the campaign. Best wishes 343. Massive Halo Fan ~Jacob

Ok so what do you guys think of brutes? Well, i like the brutes but they messed up the brutes in halo reach. I did not like them. If brutes return in halo 4,i would like them to return as they were in halo 2. They were strong, angry, ape looking aliens lol. They had high health. Brutes were best in halo 2. Brutes are also stronger then elites. Maybe hunters. Brutes rage more then elites. Brutes throw down thier weapons on halo 2 and brutally attack you till you die!!!! I just jump when they try punching me. Ok so will there be sentinels and the rest of the oracles in halo 4? Will the lazer beam come back? And what is UNSC infinity? I heard its a spartan ship or something. Is the infinity like some ship that took off into space and found that forrunner planet? Im guesssing the chief will fight with spartans in the campaign. That would be cool. And the covenant? The elites vs humans again??? Im guessing the same thing that i guessed about infinity and covie fleets landed there years before the truce of elites and humans. They dont know how to escape the planet or something? Well anyways, at the end of halo 4, will master chief and infinity return to the rest of humans and the arbiter from halo 3? Theres probably a 50% chance because in the trailer for halo 4, cortana was pissed and didnt want chief to leave the planet. I think the ancient awakening took her over and stuff and wont let john leave. Oh and will there please be a part in halo 4 where the elites and chief run into each other and the elites try to kill him and cortana or john tells the elites about the betrayal of the prophets and some elites stay on covie side because tghey dont believe them annd some do and the humans start teaming up with the elites and kill the new enemy and covies. I would love to have a part in there teaming up with elites. There was only one time in halo 3 to fight beside elites in floodgate. Besides the arbiter. PLEASE!!! Who agrees?? And in halo 5 there should be a brute chieftan prophet leading the covenant. A brute like tarturus in halo 2. Oh yea i doubt this will happen though but i want a flood firefight. Well bye and thanks for reading my opinions and guesses.
