  2. Th3 Bl1nd n1nja Map Name: The Mongoose Zombies Gametype: Mongoose Flood Brief Description: This is an infection style game where humans must drive to stay alive. Humans will spawn (with pistol and shotgun) near 8 mongooses and a rocket warthog. The goal is for the humans to drive around the map killing zombies and trying to survive until the time runs out. Zombies spawn in the middle of the map on a giant rock, where they can man-cannon to most of the map. Zombies have a choice between thruster pack, pro-vision and active camo. Zombies cannot run as fast as the vehicles but when they thruster pack they can glide along the floor at high speeds (tap the jump button continuously after using thruster pack).   3. Hey Ducain, Nice to see you here on this awesome forum! Anyways, I noticed that there wasn't any map submissions yet, and so I decided to submit my flood map "Emerald Mine" to your channel. Map Name: Emerald Mine Gametype: Flood Mode (This is an alternative of Flood on my fileshare, however any flood gametypes work [i've been told Flood Evolved is pretty fun on it]) Map Creator: Robius5991 Recommended Player Count: 6-16 Brief Description: The UNSC has abandoned this mining facilty long ago, but now it is your last haven against the invading flood. Use machinery and the old defense system to protect yourself, but beware of the turrets' heat-seaking rounds, they will kill anything... including you.   4. The Block is a five room linear flood map on Ravine that fits 12-16 players. The Gametype is Hell on Earth. It takes its setting in a prison and is very fun.
  5. I have always wanted to create fear in the survivor's mind on my infection/flood maps. I thought that having corpses on the map (its in campaign why not forge) would create more fear and maybe a feeling of danger. There could be different kinds of corpses for example a UNSC marine or an Elite or a civillian. They would also be a logical place for weapons on a flood/infection map (marine died you can get his AR) As a second idea there could be tripwires and moving pieces so you could make a trapdoor on ceiling with a corpse or two that when triggered it drops the corpses onto the player. But these are just my opinions, what do you think of my idea?

  7. So halo 3 wrapped up with a nice little ending with the covenant alliance falling apart, truth was silenced, and the flood threat was eliminated... right? I say wrong. And here is my evidence "Knowing that it faced its own complete extinction, what remained of the uninfected, stable specimens fled the galaxy aboard a commandeered vessel, destination unknown and remained dormant for thousands of years, biding it's time." http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Flood As we all know, the flood are ruthless. The scary thing about the flood is not necessarily their combat abilities... a single combat form alone really stands no threat against an agile warrior. But what about 7 billion? Thats when things get a bit scary. The flood retreated to 'god knows where' for literally thousands of years. Who knows what planets they came across, what civilazations they conquered and the sheer mass that they eventually required. When you really start to look at the cosmos as a whole, an infection like the flood NEEDS to be stopped early. And the flood was not. So i say that no matter what happy ending halo shows or bungie or 343 wraps up with, eventually more flood will come... and they will suceed.

  10. General Info: Assassin is a custom flood game type I created in Halo: Reach. The general basis was that there was an assassin loosed onto a map (the flood) and his goal is to assassinate the other players. Then the other players, usually guards or some kind of authority (the survivors) have to find and eliminate the assassin, or simply try to survive. The players start out with machine guns and pistols, no equipment, and with all of their other stats normal. The assassin starts out with the energy sword (in reach he'd also have a pistol with limited ammo) and he gets to choose from the three starting equipments; Vision, Camo or the Thruster pack. He also has low defenses, but he is quicker and hits harder. All of the players, including the assassin, also have no radar, so you never know where each other will be. Stealth is highly encouraged when playing as the assassin, as trying to take on all of the survivors head on would end in a quick death. This was greatly inspired by games such as Dishonored and Splinter Cell. Maps: Currently, I have two maps made for this game in Halo 4. Hellridge Prison: This was the first map I made in Halo 4, actually. The story goes that the assassin was captured and thrown in prison, and he has to escape (pretty straightforward, if you ask me). There are several ways for the assassin to get around the map, such as pipes own the ceiling, vents, and even hiding in the walls. The guards have to patrol the prison to find the escaped assassin and kill him. "It's us or him" basically. If the assassin manages to kill all but one of the players, then the last man standing gets the ability to either grab the machine gun, or pilot the Mantis in the left wing of the prison. Both have the ability to finish of the assassin very quickly, but the player loses mobility because of it. I added many aesthetics to this map, such as bars for the prison cells, a shower, red blinking lights to show the prison is in lock-down, and a guard station. Also, all of the secret entrances for assassins can be seen as they are closed using pallets (guards have 0 melee damage so they can't break them down and get into the vents and such). Pictures: coming soon Corporate: The second map I made for Assassin. (I'm not really sure what the story is for this, I just figured the people in the building have a bounty on their heads.) In Corporate, the assassin starts off outside and the other players are inside a building that they can't leave. The assassin has multiple approaches in this map (I tried to expand on the ways he can get around) but its mostly under the floor boards, in the walls and in the ceilings. On the first floor is a broken elevator shaft, a reception desk, and a hanging chandelier. On the second floor lies cubicles and a table with their respective chairs. Then on the third floor sits a mantis for the last man standing to utilize if need be. And throughout almost every wall are passages for the assassin to stalk his prey.   11. Hey guys, just thought that it would be a good time to post my now-completed flood map; "Emerald Mine". Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Emerald Mine (In my fileshare) Gametype: Flood Mode (Not the regular flood, the gametype's in my fileshare) Description: When a group of soldiers no longer have anywhere else to hide, they evacuate to an old UNSC mining facility that was once used to gather the largely-present resource of emerald, found both in the stones and underground. However, once they lock the side-tunnel and blow the main gate, two Flood-forms still manage to enter. The soldiers must now use the facility and its large array of machines as cover while they battle the Flood. Luckily for them, as UNSC protocol states, there are turret stations present which may allow for an added defense against the Flood, although they must beware that they are heat-seeking and will attack any moving object.   12. Fileshare Holder and Gamertag: HeroAnarchy ------------------------------------------ Homeland is a semi-tattered construct with bursted waterpipes, fallen bridges and a collapsed tunnel. The flood spawn with a choice of power-up(speed boost or overshield) in which they respawn later to keep the juice flowing and game fun. The game was orignally worked for aesthetics but I transformed it into a flood map. The flood also have a choice between three teleporters each one leading to a vital point on the map. The flood also have a miniture version of the map and marks of where each teleporter leads. The humans have shotguns and magnums and one warthog as well as places to hide. Most of the flood(gamemode) traits are default with several changes to ordnance, vehicles and flood jump height. ------------------------------------------ Map is laggy for those with bad connections (1/6 testers have reported this to me) Minimap is found in Flood spawn room as well as power-ups Most of the traits in the game are default flood traits Textures for teleporters sometimes disappear There is one warthog on the map Link to video of map below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSUStgcGbM4&feature=youtu.be
  13. Hey guys im reclaimed halo, my xbox 360 gamertag is also Reclaimed Halo.(feel free to msg me about the map on my xbox profile.) I have created a flood map,(the map name is Abandoned) , I have created a wrecked spaceship map, i gave it a broken down look with hanging wires and broken walkways. I also used the cryo bay setting from the halo 4 campaign as the spawn for the humans, and a flood based rocky spawn for the flood. Gametype:Flood Player size:As much as you want (the map is fairly big) The story for the map is that you have long been asleep in a cryo tube aboard a withering ship, suddenly you awake to find a horrific parasite to have overtaken your ship, just to realize that you are being hunted down by them. I have shown the map to a few of my friends, and they love it, if you know Halo Conceptor( an awsome halo screenshot artist in Halo Reach and in Halo 4), gave it a 9.5 on the sexiness level.(haha) I will also post some photos of the map, the pics will be low rez since i cant go into theatre and take them there, because of the fileshare system is not up in all. so i had to take them with a cheap camera. The map is extremely dark and the zombies are invisible. Humans can use Regen Fields to provide light as they desperately defend themselves.
  15. Ok, So here is not only my first Halo 4 map, it's my first Halo map ever! Since I still can't get fileshare to work, or find it online the picture came from my phone and you'll have to get the maps from my fileshare over xbl. If you've played or seen the first level of the classic Pacman, that's what I've made. GT: The Lancinator Map: Floodman Game Type: Flood Also!!! Map: Floodman Slayer Game Type: Infinity Slayer Basically Floodman and Floodman Slayer are the same map and are set up for 2-16 players (on up to slayer 8 teams). I started to make a maze map and then it hit me, "Why not make a Pac-Man map. 3 hours later I finished and this is what i came up with. All the Zombies start in the center and the Pac-Men start in the corners. Try to surive and not get killed!
  16. Wouldn't it be cool if Halo 5 had a survival against Flood with some sort of backstory to it? Like different rounds with a bunch of people helping you and more flood attack as the rounds go on If you have anything to add to this then fell free to reply
  17. Infinity Atmosphere is a Small Map that has 2 sides/center to Rome around in, other 2 are for spawning. Not so big but fun to have at least 8 players but extremely fun with 16. The first and third maps in this series is linear but the rest are only linear to an extent(I.e. the map it's self is free-roam but there is a holdout location far from the survivors' spawn with heavy weapons etc.). The series focuses on two groups of marines from the same station, in episode 1, they are together, episode 2 focuses on the group who made it to the escape vehicle, episode 3 is about those who didn't and the rest they have been reunited. For more backstory please read the map descriptions. I apologise that I have no pictures of the maps. Any feedback or ideas given by the community are greatly welcome and I would like to thank you all in advance for your support. Special thanks goes to: "antro 1" for helping me test and make my maps, and of course all the guys at "THFE", especially "Oakley Hidef" for teaching me all the tips that have made me into the forger I am.   19. These Are Just ideas...I recommend people to read this. Including 343i: Campaign Storyline - 2 Years after the event on requiem, it was a peaceful day on earth...the covenant invaded again. Unexpectedly. And no, these werent just elites this time. There was only SOME elites and they wore different armor. But this time brutes! They have returned with the features they had on halo 2. All UNSC members are ordered to evacuate all citizens. Master chief prepares. I need a weapon lol. There was a big war going on down there. Infinity spartans fight back and ODST's are sent to different parts of the areas the covenant attacked. Earth is at risk. This time its not just one part of earth getting attacked. Its all of earth. UNSC try their best to stop the attacking....it was just so hard. Wait....but then. Master chief sees the arbiters and other elite ships. Humanity just got lucky. Arbiter and other elites help the humans. Arbiter and master chief regroup with eachother and have another adventure. Then, there was a UNSC ship crash landing on earth. Arbiter and chief go check out the crash site. They enter the ship and see dead covenant and soldiers. Master chief goes to pilot area of the ship. The pilots are dead. They enter the center of the ship then theres still some people alive and trying to escape the ship. Master chief enters a room with a load of cyro tubes with the very first spartans in them. Also the ship is the spirit of fire that disappeared years ago when the events of halo wars happened. First master chief opens a cyro tube and wakes Professor Anders. Then she opens the rest of tubes and wakes up spartans. These spartans have alot in common with master chief. They all escape the ship and join in the battle. The covies stop attacking...they retrieve because they had spotted another sacred halo ring. Infinity and other ships follow the covenant. They cant let the covenant get to the ring. So they have another ordinary halo war like on the other games. And flood return. I had more ideas but i just didnt feel like typing it. Flood mode - Stays the same Ctf - Same all those other gametypes stay too Promethean Mode - New mode i came up with and it sounds pretty cool. Wouldnt it be awesome to be a promethean killing other prometheans? We get to have our own little sword and we can jump high. Elite Slayer - Returns! Blah blah blah blah im tired i would type more guys but...im lazy. Bye

Cant remember the orginal creator of this map but is hell fun. and as far as videos go i cant fine any remakes yet on youtube. i dont have a pic or a download link cuz i dont have a capture card but my GT is Bubofettt the Map is Deathslide Remake, the Gametype is Deathslide GT which is a flood gt.

Hello,my name is Tom and I love forge world me and my bro create base's at each end of the map and fight each other all ask for is that we could have fellow spartan 4 s with us fighting the other player or if we could be flood or elites and have either of them fighting us or we both have spartan 4s on our team shooting the other Spartan 4 s and for the Npc's to get in a vehicle with us and kill other Npc's , I realise that the pathing will be hard but I'm sure you'll do something because I would love to make some stand still and guard my base please put this in halo 5 and please share this around 343 thank you

Map has multiple tiers so you must holdout in each tier for a certain amount of time and then proceed to move on. Sentry's and stationary vehicles on map as well.   23. LV-426 Fight to survive an Alien outbreak in a mining complex on the planet LV-426. Inspired by the ALIEN movie franchise. Flood spawn in the elevator shaft, initially, then can spawn in any of the ventilation shafts to spring out and surprise the defenders.   24. At First when i heard about flood mode i thought it was going to be great! Sadly it turned out to be the complete opposite. I thought that everything would be as amazing as it has been in the past few games but it turns out i was wrong. Sure the skin change is a cool idea but they left out a lot of key features. I really enjoy making my own custom flood matches however... i can no longer be creative when it comes to that. The Flood, (zombie, or infected) can no longer have a different weapon this means i can not make a duck hunt map, or i can not have the infected carry a gravity hammer for some other game types. even the Flood can't have thruster packs or holograms...etc. The best thing about the other Halo games was how you can customize the weapons and traits of the flood the same as you can do with a spartan. Looking back at Halo 3 the flood did not just carry an energy sword or whatever someone would like to call that thing... they carried fuel-rod guns, gravity hammers and more. so please hear me out and allow the players of Halo 4 to customize the traits of the Flood the very same as customizing Spartan traits. P.S. Also allow the choice of the infected and non-infected colour to come back. it would be really great! -Thanks for listening
