  1. Gamertag: Not Donovan Prometheus is a small aesthetic infection map inspired by the movie "Prometheus". I couldn't have made the map the way it is today without help from Zandril. He gave me a lot of feedback and layout ideas for the holdout locations. Thank you! This honestly started off as an aesthetic project, but after walking around in the first version of the map, I thought it could work really well with infection. There are 2 scripted doors which players can interact with. One door closes off the hallway that connects the human and infected spawns. The other is in the holdout location with the SMG. This door doesn't close completely; one side actually shuts while the other gets "jammed". Both doors have switches on both sides. There is also a room in the hallway with a crate. The crate can be used to block one of the entrances of the room. (See screenshots) Weapons: 1 SMG - 0 spare 1 Scattershot - 0 spare 1 Halo 1 magnum - 0 spare 1 Shotgun - 0 spare 1 Brute Plasma Rifle Bookmark here: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants?lastModifiedFilter=Everything&sortOrder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=Not%20Donovan#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_Not%20Donovan_e090d139-e979-426e-a32e-b29a3366d374 I forgot to mention this map supports 10-12 players. Full lobbies are really chaotic.
  2. Hello, everyone. As you can see, I have created a new Infection map. It's called "Epitome". (Note: in halo 5 Guardians/Forge, Epitome has ()'s surrounding it, making the map (Epitome) ). I believe this to be the first Infection map created on Coliseum. It was challenging, mostly because of the short sky barrier. I'm not sure how I got the idea for the map name. I was oddly inspired to create this map because of the halo 4 music track "This armor". Thanks for checking out this post! 3. Hi guys, I'm new around here. I wanted to make a topic where I can post all my maps, like "Maps made by LustSinTaboo" but Idk where to do that.. So here is the first infection map I ever created. Name: SPACE CITY Game type: Infection Player limit: 16 Describe: The humanity managed to rule the universe so day by day they are living in it! The Infected and the Survivors spawn on opposite sides of the map giving both parties the opportunity to devise their strategies. Weapons consist of: 2x Suppressed SMG, 2x Shotgun, CE Magnum, Suppressor, Voids Tear, Detached Chaingun.
  5. Gamertag: FatAussieFatB0y (The 0 is a number and not a letter) Map Name: Tower Defense Gamemode: Tower Defense (Infection) Description of the Map: Protect your Castle from those Dirty Blues... (Infected Players) Grab some Weapons and defend that Castle Entrance. If you fail to protect the Entrance and 3 Blues breach the castle then one Red (Random) will be killed and turned into a Blue. Once all Red players are killed or the Reds protect the Castle for 10 Minutes the Round Ends. Pictures of the Map: Reds can travel across the map using Buildings and other Platforms (Blues must use the Footpaths as they cannot Jump) (Recommended that you stay on off the ground as a Red as Blues can easily overrun a Grounded Red) Blues are given Plasma Grenades which they can use to Kill Reds sitting on top of Buildings and other Platforms (Alpha Zombies get 2x Plasma Grenades where Minions get 1x Plasma Grenades) REQ Store, used to purchase Powerful Weapons and Power Ups for the Reds (Player Score is used a Currency, Players earn 1 score every 30 Seconds and 1 score every Kill) The Castle Entrance that the Blues have to reach before dying (Right Side of Image is the Castle Entrance) The Life Counter which shows how many more times a Blue needs to breach the Castle before a Red is Turned A Couple of Cinematic Images - And that’s about it. Hope you all Enjoy! PS: Recommended that everyone playing is in a Party Chat so players can communicate and strategize. <3 FatAussieFatBoy

  7. Gamertag: FatAussieFatB0y (The 0 is a number and not a letter) Map Name: Holdout: Camp (Has been known to change back to "Town Holdout" which is the original file name) Gamemode: Holdout (Infection) Description of the Map: This is the first installment of a series of maps I like to call Holdout... In Holdout: Camp your goal is to survive the onslaught that is the Undead, however this is easier said then done so grab a friend, find somewhere to hide and Holdout... Map Story: The sky is bright orange as the Sun sets over this Beautiful camp surrounded by Pine. You and your fellow companions hear something strange coming from the Food Hall based at the top of Camp, you find something to protect yourself with as it becomes clear that something isn't quite right... And Queue the Epic Music and Montage Effects... Pictures of the Map: Most of the shots are cinematic and the map kind of explains it self, there is however a few things that I couldn't take a photo of and even somethings that you might of missed in the images, these include... 1. There are 3 Zip-lines, these can be seen in a few images as cables. 2. Each cabin contains unique weapons and is surrounded with at least 1 Assault Rifle. 3. There are waypoints that spawn above the Survivors heads every 20 seconds that show their current location. 4. Most people don't realise but the Tree House ladder is broken, so you'll need to use the rock placed nearby. And that's the whole kit and caboodle, I hope that you enjoy playing the gamemode as much as I did making it. <3 FatAussieFatBoy
  8. It's done. I finally did it. I updated Tunnels 2.0, since it was last update in April. Now, let's see what's new in the store. Linke to teh old copi Holy cwap. New stuff my man. We got no more lightning at the spawn. That's good, now you don't die as fast and aren't fowced to wun. Which is awlays good. But dare's still lighting, which goes way after a minute or sumfin. Divah Man Dan is a good guy now, yeh. He no longa kills you, instead he takes you to the sewa where you can hide. Hiding is always good. Uh, new stuff. Like, an evil couch and a uh piano. Gotta have the piano. Eh, oh an Organ. Some other cool stuff, like an Iron Maiden. Definitely gotta touch that, but it might hurt! Still dawk Spawn wooms changed for teh infwected, definitely. No more energy swords on the wall in teh Infected Nest, which is great. Because Swords are loud, and awso, Infected have a wandom guy who got stabbed. Dunno what happened here. Interactve stuff, it's nice. Yeh it is. Oh, Alpha Infected no longer pick up weapons, so that's always good. DMR was fixed so you can touch it if you want, don't have to. There's a scary lady who follows you around, although you won't notice but when you do. You gonna be spooked. Other stuff, I don't know. I forgot, I dunno I should've just make a video instead.
  9. This map is what I feel is Husky Raid of Infection. Humans start on one side of the Trench and make there way towards the middle and end where there are 3 huts with roofs and cover. On the way through and outside the trenches are powerful REQ weapons that can make this mode very hectic. To balance this out and make it fun Infected spawn all around the Valley and Trench and can run as well as Alpha Infected have super powerful and fast ground pounds. Weapons: -Tartarus' Gavel -Voids Tear -Halo CE Magnum -Bayonet Battle Rifle -Minds Eye Beam Rifle -White Scar Plasma Caster -Jorge's Chaingun -Detached Chaingun -Overshield 1 -Damage Buff 1 Rules of the game mode are still being tweaked but the game mode is called Havoc and is an infection variant.
  10. Map: The Labs Gametype: Project Chimera Story The goal of Project Chimera was to genetically mutate human specimen to give them unique characteristics and abilities that would otherwise be impossible to accomplish as an average human. By mixing the DNA of an average human being and the DNA of any animal, the scientists' hope was to create a hybrid soldier with amazing abilities that can only be possessed by the creatures of nature. The only problem was trying to find a catalyst to control the genetic mutation. When a failed test couldn't handle the proposed catalyst, the test subjects underwent a genetic mutation without the limits of a supposed catalyst causing the subjects to become hostile and uncontrollable. Breaking free from their cells, an evacuation had to be issued. Description The Labs is a linear style infection map based in an infested laboratory due to a failed genetic mutation getting out of hand. You and your group must reach a safe room on the opposite side of the facility. The twist to this map is that with the large size of the lab, there are two distinct paths to take to reach the safe room at the other side of the facility: The underground path takes you to the underground tram system The upper floor path takes you through the rest of the labs. You and your team must collectively pick which path to take as when one path is chosen, the opposite path is closed off. Background A Chimera is a fire-breathing monster composed of several animals. With the idea of creating genetic mutation hybrids, this Greek mythical creature came to mind thus Project Chimera was created. I wanted to create a linear infection map where there was choice implemented into it. At first I wanted to create a pick and choose path linear infection map but due to limits in forge, I only made one choice at the start of the map. This map is apart of a three part series following the story of the scientists trying to reach safety (Part 1), looking for a supposed cure (Part 2), and implanting the cure into the main mechanism and evacuating the laboratory (Part 3). Tips Humans - Teamwork and communication is key (as with all linear infection maps) Holdouts become progressively harder as the map progresses. - Weapons are usually supplied at every holdout but at times, there are some hidden power weapons which can really help the fight - The infected are very fast so team firing and calling out the infected's positions are key to survival - (Other than sprint) Clamber and thruster pack are the only spartan abilities at your disposal so use them well Infected - As said previously, the infected are very fast and are equipped with thruster packs, but to make matters worse, Alphas are able to sprint and really close the gap between the humans - Although a single teleporter will lead you to progressive spawn locations, those locations at times will have multiple ways to get the jump on the humans - The infected are quite weak but speed is their ally. Attacking the humans in large groups will cause utter chaos and usually the death of several confused humans General - Progression is absolutely mandatory. If you as a human or infected stay back, teleporters will spawn killing you if you do not move ahead in the map - Everything on this map is based on a 4-minute time limit so each trigger occurs at a specific time so pay attention to the time counter! (See list below for time sequences) Key: (___) - Human triggers [___] - Disturbed triggers *Triggered by a button **Shows how long the door takes to close, not when it happens Underground Time Sequences (Down) 3:30 - [First spawn location opens] 3:15 - (Door button spawns), [second spawn location opens*] 2:35 - (Button to start train spawns), [Third spawn locations opens*] 2:00 - [Fourth spawn location opens] 1:30 - (Emergency Exit door opens) 1:00 - [stairwell Vent opens] 0:45 - (Door to saferoom opens), [Final spawn location opens] 0:30** - (Saferoom door closes) Laboratory Time Sequences (Up) 3:30 - [First spawn location opens] 3:15 - (Door button spawns) 3:00 - [second spawn location opens*] 2:15 - (Door to generator room opens) 1:30 - (Door to gondolas opens), [Third spawn location opens*] 1:10 - (Button spawns to activate gondola), (Fourth spawn location opens*] 0:45 - [Final spawn location opens] 0:30** - (Saferoom door closes) Easter Egg? So… I really do like making hidden secrets in maps that I make and besides hidden weapons around the map like this one However, there is a FULL BLOWN multiple step easter egg that I created. The only hint I'm giving is this poem… (cause it's cool and mysterious and…why not) What lies below Cannot be seen Destroy them all Wipe it clean If you head up and progress The door will rise If you go underground In a room, it lies While riding a machine A bright light fixation One stands out The answer is activation The finale awaits What was once locked away But you unlocked it's seal Now rain destruction and dismay

This is designed to be a boss battle type of game, where one player controls the phantom demon from the old school N64 classic: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which resides in the infamous Shadow Temple; the seventh dungeon in the game. For those of you poor souls who are too young to remember or simply hid under a rock when this game came out, Bongo Bongo is the name of a gargantuan, evil spirit, which has one eye and great big hands playing a drum. Keeping close tabs to the original game, this map takes place on the big drum itself. One infected spawns in a chamber where it can control 4 sets of hands that fly across the drum in different patterns, attempting to push/smack people off of it into the poisonous green liquid below. If a human dies, it joins with the horde of the undead that guard the Shadow Temple. To add to the chaos, infected pop out of the darkness from corners of the map, also trying to kill the humans and pleasing their demon master. The humans' goal on the other hand is to kill the beast by first shooting all of the explosive barrels on the swiping hands that the infected alpha controls, thereby exposing barrels on the stumps of Bongo Bongo's arms and great eye. Once all of those barrels are destroyed, the evil demon will melt into the liquid below and the humans simply have to survive for the rest of the round. To add to the challenge, the drum causes players to BOUNCE up and down, (which I've found pretty entertaining when someone dies). TIP: Don't try to approach or jump on the demon as it will kill you... The map itself has some free space and hasn't officially been tested yet except for a couple 2 player shenanigans, so I definitely look forward to any constructive comments on improving gameplay, tweaking infected/human traits to make it more challenging/fun, and adding aesthetics or any other elements that you think should be added to increase replayability. Cheers! With that, here's some more pics!
  12. Hey all, I am creating this post because my friend and I do a weekly show called Forgetastic Fridays where we pick user created maps, we then run around the maps and showcase them. We are looking for anyone that would like to submit their Forge maps, they can be any type of map (4v4, 8v8, Slayer, Infection, Puzzle, etc). And we would love to be able to have the user in the show with us explaining why they did this etc. If you would like to submit your map just leave your GT, and the name of the map. Or you can send me a message on XBL, my GT is Sgt Gnomes, and just let me know the name of the map you would like to submit. I hope to hear from you! Heres an example of what we do:
  13. Hey guys, long time. I'm working on a project for the Hub of the Dead Infection-Map contest over at Forge Hub! So, I have most of it done. Now I'm just confused over one little detail. That has to do with the way the sky looks. Now, I'm going to give you guys two images that don't have too much stuff from the entire map, and are from an older version, but that's okay, because technically I haven't "revealed" it to any forum yet. I'm going to have descriptions for each one, and so that'll tell you whatever you can't gather from the pictures (which will probably be a lot of stuff). So I want you guys to either vote for option 1, or option 2 as a lighting setup. Don't forget, this is an infection map. OPTION 1: This is a daylight option. It's bright, has lots of sunlight, a sandy atmosphere, slightly cloudy but has bluish sky. Performance and light-baking is slightly better on this setup. It looks similar to WyvernZu's lighting on her Sandtrap remake. OPTION 2: This option is not a night option by any stretch of the imagination, as the huge sun on parallax shines through everything. But it is noticeably darker, has a slightly thicker sand effect and is also just a more effed up day time. One thing to note is that performance with the light-baking is worse than Option 1, and some pieces look a tiny bit glitchy (nothing that you can notice unless you look really carefully). So that's that! Basically, I'm not sure of a scary vibe needs a darker lighting necessarily. I've been told that my map feels like it was once lived in, and something happened where people died/can't be there anymore, and this was with Option 1 on. So, that's the thing. It's an infection map, so a sketchiness is favorable. But, if it can be achieved without having to be physically darker, it's fine. Anyway, thanks and vote if you read this! NOTE: The reason I said urgent was because there's only around a week left.
  14. Map: Shipment (Recommended 10-16 players) LINK Gametype: Disturbed (Needed to play) LINK Gamertag: KeeLoker "Working at an ocean side shipping yard, you and some fellow workers discover underground caves that sprawl all under the shipping yard. Little did you know what was lurking below…" Description Shipment is a linear style infection map based around an infested shipping yard along the shores of an ocean. You and your group must escape the shipping yard and reach the parking garage to which you can close the garage and seal away a threat no man should ever face. Shipment provides many different environments to fend off the infected in to keep gameplay flowing smoothly. Some include open areas located mostly in the shipping yard itself Some indoor close quarter combat A narrow linear path along a bridge As well as some open indoor environments The infected or "Disturbed" also have plenty of different and unique routes to get the jump on the humans What separates this linear style infection map from others is that there are several hidden secrets that can benefit both the humans and the infected. They can range from hidden power weapons to activating certain objects. It's up to you to discover them as you traverse through Shipment. Although these pictures might help you find a few. Gameplay Images* *from earlier versions of the map Tips Humans - Teamwork and communication is key to survive as a human. Holdout areas have been strategically made so that each stage gets progressively harder so making sure that the humans are equally covering areas of entrances from the infected will ensure success. - Utilizing power weapon's advantages and avoiding their disadvantages is super important on this map. If you don't think a weapon is all that useful right now, save it for a time when it might be useful. - Assume the infected can come from any direction - (Other than sprint) Clamber and thruster pack are the only spartan abilities at your disposal so utilize them well. "Disturbed" - As the match progresses, the tunnel will lead you to specific areas that also progress with the map itself (See list below for time sequences of areas) - The power box outside the building has destroyable power cores that open the garage near it - Alpha zombies have thruster packs available to them so take advantage of that General - Everything on this map is based on a 4-minute time limit so each trigger occurs at a specific time so pay attention to the time limit! (See list below for time sequences) Key: (__) - Human triggers [__] - Zombie triggers 3:30 - [Disturbed tunnel opens] 3:15 - (Button spawns to open first door), [Tunnel expands] 2:45 - [Tunnel opens new area] 2:00 - (Second door opens), [Tunnel opens new area], [Tunnel closes previous area] 1:35 - [Vent opens up], [Tunnel closes [previous area] 1:10 - [Tunnel opens new area] 0:45 - (Third door opens), [Route 5 opens up], [Tunnel closes previous areas] 0:35 - (Tunnel expands) 0:25* - (Final button to close the door) *Instead of it spawning at 0:25, it takes 25 seconds for the garage to close.
  15. *This gamemode and map is currently in alpha stage and has not gone through any type of balancing. Feedback will be appreciated. ---Story--- You're sent to collect archives from a sunken ship that was destroyed almost 400 years ago. As you make your way back up, a shark appears in your line of sight. Others appear out of the darkness and corner you in an underwater ravine. ---Objective--- Divers: Hide and try not to get spotted by a shark. If spotted, your chances of survival are very slim. Use that chance to your advantage and get the hell out of there! Sharks (Banshees): Search for your prey as they hide from you. Fly directly into them to consume them and infect them. 17. [ADDED NEW PHOTOS] Submitted for ZannyVids This is an infection-based remix of Halo 5's classic slayer map; "Pegasus". What I've done here is made it into a castle setting with new paths and places to hide from the infected. All areas are balanced for the new infection gametype, and has been play tested with a few parties with about 8 people each time. The tests came out well, and every game was fun down to the final seconds. I don't think there are any over powered locations, but that will be revealed with more testing. I've worked for over 15 hours on this and it turned out better than I imagined (most of the time was spent switching around most of the original pieces with basic blocks for texturing) Thanks for reading. -GreyMuffinBass
  18. Welcome to the zombie-infested and smoldering town of Tristram! I decided to recreate a well renown level from another one of my favorite games from my childhood; Diablo II. This is my FIRST attempt at an infection map so any feedback is greatly appreciated to make it better. I wanted to capture the essence of a 2D game and see what it might look like in 3D. As with most of my maps, I also wanted to make the map into a role-playing adventure like Diablo II, so the humans have an objective to complete rather than just surviving against the hordes of undead. For those of you who are familiar with the Diablo franchise, you'll know what I mean when I say: seek the secret cow level for your rewards. For those of you who are too young to know what the heck I'm talking about or are simply a PC n00b here you go: The Objective: Zombies: Do what you do best. Braaainnss... Humans: Run through the portal in Stony Field and you'll find yourself in Tristram. It's been destroyed by the Lord of Destruction himself, Diablo. To have any chance at surviving (as there are very limited amounts of weapons on the map) you must work together and collect a series of items to unlock the secret cow level. What to do: Once you've found everything and unlocked the portal, you will find your rewards to survive a little bit longer among the undead. Word of caution however, if you stay in the secret cow level for too long or get trapped there, the Cow King will eat you... As always I look forward to any constructive comments on making my maps better. My GT is: CaptainDireWolf. Check out: http://www.forgehub.com/maps/tristram-diablo.2921/for more details. Enjoy those brains. Cheers! Now for some more pics!
  19. Map: The Everglades Game type: The Everglades Player Count: Up to 14 players Creator: Skiwolf We thought we were alone but we were wrong. The Everglades is an infection map with a thick ominous fog that covers the map. The map features holdout like the church and river huts. There are power weapons scattered around the map like a sniper and a rocket launcher. Humans and zombies no longer have thruster packs so the game play is a little slower. 20. After such a long time of not being on the site (but dropping in to the shoutbox with little response xD), I’d like to introduce my latest work in forge: Siege. Siege is a new infection map set in a forest at an abandoned research site once known as the “Siege Research Center”. After a terrible accident nothing but dead bodies remain. It features what I believe to be a unique integration of verticality by having little wooden towers connected by bridges, allowing for many great opportunities to implement the use of Halo 5’s mechanics such as ground pounding or thrusting from one bridge to another as a shortcut. As far as gameplay is concerned, the infected players’ spawn room is a little lab (once part of this research center) at the end of the map, featuring a pipe that launches players into the jungle. The jungle is the survivors’ playground. Also, I highly recommend that survivors take advantage of the towers and bridges, rather than linger in the confusing forest on the bottom. Of course, certain weapons might be worth swooping down and taking a risk for every now and then. Speaking of which, weapon placement is not yet finalized on this map. I intend to change them up based on feedback, including which weapons and where they should go. The aesthetics had a lot of thought put into them. I decided to use the perfect combination of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors with the right level of metallic finish, all working in unison with the new textures feature to create what I believe to be very beautiful and artistic aesthetics that I don’t think are too common on forge maps at this point. You’ll also find that I decided to make the lab very sleek looking as compared to the slightly aged look of everything else to create some contrast, which is essential to any work of art. Of course, this isn’t intended to primarily function as an aesthetic map, but being a huge design geek I had to try my best. Now I know this map isn’t perfect, and I’m very willing to take feedback. I would love to get this featured, because I really want to get out there. My dream is to get this into matchmaking, and I will work as hard as it takes as ridiculous of a goal as that may sound. Here are some more pictures which might show you a little of what I talked about. The map is called “Siege” and is under my files, gamertag being “Dezert Fuze”. Please do not hesitate to give me feedback. CLICK HERE FOR HALO WAYPOINT PAGE

The map is darker than a lot of other maps making it look more scary. The map also contains graphic content, so if you're easily offended, I suggest you don't play this map.
