  2. Hey guys! Soo, what Pokemon would you be if you had the chance to become one?! As for myself everyone pretty much knows. :3 Hehe~ ♥
  3. Hello! For all of you who do not know me, I am Pbrabbit! I have been a member of the forums for quite a while now, and I can be seen living in my hole at the bottom of the forum threads in the "Other Games" section. I am an avid Pokémon fan and player. For the past couple years I have been training and competing to be the best there ever was! This year I start my official journey as I head to many big Pokémon events to compete for head to head against other players with the Pokémon Sun and Moon Video Game. At the end of September will be my first event and I am super excited to be introducing Sudowoodo to many high-level players! More to come soon, tah tah for now! - Pb
  4. Map: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo-5-guardians/xbox-one/map-variants?lastModifiedFilter=Everything&sortOrder=BookmarkCount&page=1&gamertag=CaptainDireWolf#ugc_halo-5-guardians_xbox-one_mapvariant_CaptainDireWolf_bd2e9f43-27fa-4634-aeb5-24462aafe54c Gametype: “The Elite Four” (Breakout inspired) https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/...DireWolf_b4279fce-ae9a-452f-a50b-333fffd4ab35 Map allows for 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 (optimal), and up to 8v8 (but the extra 8 are simply observers) It is my great pleasure to finally introduce you all to my newest map, the Poke’ Playoffs; a grand sequel to the original poke’ battle map made last year. In this mini-game, you are pitted against other trainers in the Poke’ League Championship in your quest for becoming one of the legendary “Elite Four”. The Design Compete in one of four poke’ gyms during your matchups (based on gyms from the old school Gameboy games), including: the Fighting Dojo, Celadon Gym (grassy glade), Cerulean Gym (pool), and Cinnabar Gym (inside a volcano). The winners of each gym battle are thrown into the great poke’ stadium to fight for the glory of their team. After 5 rounds, the winners are declared and the new Elite Four are chosen. How to Play The way this works involves a short time frame (10 seconds) where each player has to choose 1 of 3 pokemon to battle with against the other player. Time is marked by a glowing red circle that moves across the large poke’ ball blocker in front of you. If it reaches the other side of the blocker before you choose something, the tournament referees will kill you for stalling the match. As a side bit of fun, you are given one plasma grenade to throw at a small white platform to your left indicated by a red arrow. This simply gives you the chance to feel like you are actually throwing down a poke ball. Once 10 seconds passes, the screen in front of you disappears and your poke’ ball will glow as it is opened, revealing you and your competitor’s battle companion. Your pokemon will duke it out with their chosen attack and the winner (based on type) will survive, while the loser gets killed. As this is designed for 4v4, the winners of the respective gyms will be thrown into the arena for a final show down with sniper rifles. Poke’ strengths and weaknesses: As this is again based on a simple rock-paper-scissors concept, each “type” of pokemon wins and loses against different types. For the n00bs out there, simply remember the console color on the right kills the console color to its left (and the end console of course loops around). This map employs 4 different gyms, all with different pokemon and types. These include: The Fighting Dojo Grass – Fire – Water Bulbasaur vs. Charmander vs. Squirtle Celadon Gym Rock – Grass – Ice Golem vs. Ivysaur vs. Articuno Cerulean Gym Electric – Ground – Water Pikachu or Zapdos vs. Dugtrio or Sandshrew vs. Starmie or Staryu Cinnabar Gym Grass – Fire - Water Vileplume vs. Moltres vs. Kingler Other random pokemon located around the map include: Snorlax, Ghastly, Ditto, Magnemite, a fat Magikarp, rattata, oddish, electrode, and krabby. One disclaimer I will add as this map is scripted using all 26 labels, all 26 power channels and some of the messages to move groups of objects, you will occasionally see a pokemon appear and look totally janky as f*%^. I honestly can’t fix that unfortunately, but it does bring about extra hilarity as you try to recognize what it is. As always, add my GT: CaptainDireWolf or hit the download link above (if it’s still working) to play something ridiculous. Cheers! Extra Challenge: There has been interest from some to forge certain pokemon of their own and I certainly invite you to do so. With that said, I actually have about 100 objects left before I enter into the yellow zone of my limit, which I found causes the weird bug that makes random objects around the map disappear. Soooo that means, if you have a crazy interest, send me a message after you prefab your creation and tag it: “Poke CDW”. If it looks convincing, is made with minimal amount of objects, and I have your permission, I’ll add your masterpiece to the stadium for players to fight among. There it will rest for time eternal and your will receive both the pride of creation and I’ll add your name to the EPIC list of acknowledgements below. 5. Hello friends! I'm back again, randomly today, to provide some insight and excitement on Pokemon Sun and Moon. The Pokémon Sun & Moon UK release date is 23 November 2016. Nintendo has confirmed the seventh generation in the series: Pokémon Sun and Moon. It will launch on 23 November as a 3DS exclusive. You can pre-order Pokémon Sun or Moon from Amazon or GAME which both have a price of £39. As for the US Release date, November 18th, 2016, is when the game will be available for $39.99. *Now something to note is that many retailers are offering deals where they are offering a duel pack for the two games for about $10-$15 less than it would be for buying each of the games individually. Personally, I pre-ordered my games on Amazon Prime for around ~$70. I am so excited for these games, and the information that has been released about these is just so rich. While at the same time, Pokemon has kept a wealthy amount of information of the new game itself hidden away from the public. Also! Don't forget to play the Pokemon Sun and Moon demo to get a special Pokemon!!! Ash-Greninja is available for transfer to your actual game when it comes out! So be sure to play the demo and get that Pokemon. I played the demo and my thoughts were: Wow, just wow. The music is amazing. By far, some of the best music that Pokemon has put into their games. While the Pokemon Center music may be classic, I have never heard a better villainous music than Team Skull's. It accurately depicts today's groups of people, and works off the stereotype of gangs. Which is maybe not the best thing in the world, but it works in the world of this game. Graphics were just awesome. 10/10. The new Pokemon are interesting. The traveling around on Pokemon we already know is interesting as well. Why not use new Pokemon for traveling? I'll have more info on the demo coming soon! What do you guys think? Are you excited for the new game? Have you played the demo? Let me know below!
  6. this is just for fun so no one get to heated plz. Now what Pokemon team did you choose to join and why? Team valor Team mystic Team instinct or none (Also i'm not sure how to add a survey in this forums so if anyone knows how let me know! ) i chose team valor because i miss-clicked
  7. Happy 20 years to Pokemon! Many games tend to stick around and warm our hearts throughout generations, Pokémon is one of them! In celebration of a successful 20 years, Nintendo and Gamefreak are sponsoring special promotions including a special edition New Nintendo 3DS that comes with the 2 classics, Red and Blue! (Yellow version will be available on the Nintendo E-Shop along with digital versions of Red and Blue) Pre-Installed onto your console! Along with limited-edition faceplates with 20th Anniversary designs! In other news, The Pokemon Center in Japan is releasing new 20th anniversary merchandise including, T-Shirts, Lanyards, Hats, Plushe, and MUCH MUCH more! What do you think of Pokémon's 20th anniversary? Voice your comments!
  8. Map Name: Poke' Battle GT: CaptainDireWolf Gametype: Gotta catch em all The story: You're running through the wilderness trying to avoid that darn tall grass when you suddenly encounter another trainer! Gotta fight 'em obviously. So you whip out one of your best starter pokemon (totally evolved mind you), throw the pokeball and bam, battle the opponent's pokemon. The catch is, they have similar pokemon! There's no "fainting" here ladies and gentleman... If you win the round you get to kill your opponent right then and there and take their pokemon haha! Ok in all seriousness folks, this is just a big fancy game of rock, paper, scissors, except using pokemon. It's setup for 1v1 (red vs. blue), but if others join they can watch you get crushed from the sidelines. There are 5 rounds and at the beginning of the round you choose either Venusaur, Charizard, or Blastoise and if you win you get weapons to kill your rival. For those of you who've played pokemon before you know who beats who, but for the rest of you poke' n00bs: Charizard (fire) > Venusaur (grass) Venusaur (grass) > Blastoise (water) Blastoise (water) > Charizard (fire) If by chance you both pick the same one's, then you both receive weapons and it's up to who has the most skill to take down their opponent. I've added some of my favorite pokemon just hanging out around the map (the pokemon I didn't butcher too badly trying to recreate with forge items) so see if you can spot them all! Cheers! Check out forgehub for more pics: http://www.forgehub.com/maps/poke-battle.2406/
  9. From the album: more sketches

Randomly drew this a couple days ago thought it would be nice to share it with you all.
  10. Hello everyone! Melody here! Recently news has sparked up in the internet world about rumors of Game Freak's popular Pokemon Yellow Version. Pokemon has seen it's fair share of remakes/remasters but could a rumor of the classic 1998 video game be true? According to a recent article by "thepokedex" (Google it) says yes. Despite the small amount of information provided this has sparked much controversy among the gaming community. However no such proof exists that proofs for certain that Pokemon Yellow Version will be getting a remaster. What do you guys think about these rumors? Will Yellow get a remaster after all? Thanks for reading!
  11. Pokemon has been around for many years now, and has played a major part on the gaming community and our childhood! I'd like to see how the community thinks about the series so far and to how it may be progressing for the future! #500th post
  12. Okay so there is a lot of talk on the web suggesting on what the next remake should be. (Purely suggestions, nothing has been officially announced) Gamefreak seems to go in patterns, by years, every so often making a remake. What would you guys think about a remake of Yellow version? also what do you like or dislike about a Pokemon Yellow Version remake for the 3DS?
  13. Recently I've been thinking about how Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been hits for Nintendo. This remake was an extremely smart, and perfectly timed event to do. Now the question remains, after the game being out since, November 21, 2014, Fans might be starting to think about what is next after this remake. (when I say 'fans', I mean me ) Don't get me wrong, there's still much more to be done with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, time wise, but I think it is time they announce a new project, or just release some speculatory stuff about what is coming next. If Nintendo/GameFreak were to release a new Pokemon title, I'd either love a Remake of Crystal, or a remake of the very popular, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. If they don't do a remake, since they just did that, I have some strange feels about a new generation. I guess the question that remains is, how much longer can the Pokemon Video Game franchise just keep making new games? I mean, they do it with Halo, COD, GOW, and many other titles, but is there a limit to how many Pokemon Games there should be? What do you guys think?
  14. Quite recently I became obsessed in playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game. While I love the Video Game, the card game is a different and exciting part of the Pokemon Gaming Universe. So if you have played Pokemon TCG before, you are familiar with players taking turns attacks, putting Pokemon onto their bench and much more. My I wanted to share a creation my friend created, with some input for rules from myself. We call it Real Time Strategy Pokemon. How it works is that a turn is every 1 minute and that both players may do as they please, with some exceptions during each minute. I have a video below showing one of the first RTS games with Ian and Jeremy facing off. I am recording the video. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar1R-T2FpSw
  15. Hey everyone! This is just a little poll for me to get a read on people who play on the 3DS and play competitively. I know we have a lot of wonderful PC and XB360 and XB1 playdates, I'd also love to host a sort of tourney or event, or just a hang out of some kind with some 3DS gamers! So all honest input on the poll would be extremely helpful! Thanks!
  16. Today marks the release date for the Remake of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire! Both 3rd Generation games taking place int he Hoenn region, and contain some very famous legendary pokemon, Latios and Latias. The game comes out today in stores all across the US and the world as well! This is a game I played when I was a child, and now I get to play it all over again. How do you feel about Nintendo making a remake of such a classic game? Below is a HD, 8 bit like, photo from the opening of the gameboy games, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.
  17. Some stick to their PC's, and some others stick to their home consoles. But there are a few, or many actually that do a lot of mobile gaming on some console devices small enough to play games almost anywhere. Nintendo, being one of the top mobile gaming(Mobile meaning a console like the DS) companies with Sony, etc, has some of histories top mobile games. One of the most famous games besides Zelda, is the Pokemon Franchise. Now I have specifically created this 'Guide' to help those who want to play Pokemon but do not know what Pokemon game to receive as their very first. Here is a history of every Pokemon Game that has been played by gamers around the world to date. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_games_by_release_date) Please read the full list before going on. So as you see there are so many to choose from, which one is the right one to play first? Well before you choose a game from random, lets talk about the consoles that they can be played on and which one to get. POSSIBLE CONSOLES I RECOMMEND: The Game Boy Advance SP: The Game Boy Advance SP (aームボーaaドバンaSP Gēmu Bōi Adobansu Essu Pī?), released in February 2003,[7]is an upgraded version of Nintendo's Game Boy Advance. The "SP" in Game Boy Advance SP stands for Special.[8] The SP was marketed at US$99.99 at launch. In September 2004, Nintendo lowered the price to US$79.99. The SP is accompanied by the Nintendo DS (released in November 2004) and the Game Boy Micro (released in September 2005). Here is an Image of the GBASP. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Advance_SP The GameBoy Advance SP allows gamers to play Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Firered, and Leafgreen. The GBASP was really an amazing mobile console that really defined gaming for a long time before Nintendo stepped up their game to the first DS. I highly recommending purchasing one of these consoles for no more than $60 on Ebay or online somewhere else. They are not sold in GameStop anymore sadly. Nintendo DS Lite: The Nintendo DS Lite (ニンテンドーDS Lite Nintendō Dī Esu Raito?) is a dual-screen handheld game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo. It is a slimmer, brighter, and more lightweight redesign of the original Nintendo DS. It was announced on January 26, 2006, more than a month before its initial release in Japan on March 2, 2006 due to overwhelming demand for the original model.[3] It has been released in Australia, North America, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, and defined regions in South America, the Middle East, and East Asia. As of December 31, 2009, shipments of the DS Lite have reached 89.19 million units worldwide, according to Nintendo.[1] Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS_Lite The Nintendo DS Lite, (Dual Screen Console) was a more advanced version of the original Nintendo DS. The DS Lite had a few updates to it and started to incorporate WIFI capabilities as well. I'm not saying the DS Lite is so much better than the Nintendo DS, but the DS Lite was lighter, thinner and by far was a fan favorite myself. The Console is able to play GBA games such as Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Firered, and Leaf Green. None of the original GBA games such as Red, Blue, Yellow, Crystal, Gold and Silver cannot be played on the DS Lite so there is about of a downside to this console, except for the fact that this console also incorporated the use of Nintendo DS cards in the DS slot on the back of the system. Later in the post I will compare GBA to DS cartridges and their sizes. To me, the DS Lite is my favorite Console. The GBASP is right behind this console. The 3DS XL: The Nintendo 3DS XL (Japanese: ニンテンドー3DS LL Hepburn: Nintendō Surī Dī Esu Eru Eru?, abbreviated to3DS XL) is the first Nintendo 3DS handheld game console revision produced by Nintendo. As with the transition from the Nintendo DSi to the DSi XL, the Nintendo 3DS XL features larger screens, longer battery life, and a greater overall size than the original Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo 3DS XL is intended to complement the original 3DS, not replace it, as both models remain in production. When in its open position, the Nintendo 3DS XL is the longest, widest and heaviest system of the Nintendo 3DS family.[12] Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_3DS_XL This is the Nintendo 3DS XL. It is my 3rd place recommended console if you are going to be the newest Pokemon games to date. To date, this console is what High-tech nintendo gaming is. This console is what I recommend for all those gamers out there who adore quality in their games. For this console, or all 3DS consoles because their is a smaller version of this console, it plays DS cartridges and 3DS Cartridges. Once again, I will compare all there Cartridges shortly. But this console and all consoles after the Nintendo DS Lite took out the GBA Cartridge, and only allows gamers to play Pokemon DS and 3DS games such as, Pokemon Pearl, Diamond, Platinum, HeartGold(Remake of GBA Gold), SoulSilver(Remake of GBA Silver), Black, White, Black 2, White 2, X and Y. This console is very high-tech for use of WIFI and Infrared technology. The system also has 3 built in cameras. Also, it is 3D for 3DS games only. Another new thing about this console and the regular 3DS is that in the top left bottom of the console their is a joystick. This is a new feature for these consoles, because ever since the GBA it has only used the + Pad right below the joystick. Now if I were to rank these consoles it would go like this: 1.) DS Lite- For those who pick medium to old games to play(GBA and DS Games) 2.) GameBoy Advanced SP- For those who pick old games to play(GBA) 3.) 3DS XL- For those who play Medium to Newer games(DS and 3DS) Now I have also been mentioning GBA, DS and 3DS Game Cartridges. Here is what they actually are. GBA: Source: http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs48/i/2009/212/3/3/Pokemon_Rom_Icons_RBY_by_Alforata.jpg These are RED, BLUE and YELLOW. These are the original Pokemon games. These are one type of GBA cartridges. Silver, Gold and Crystal are also this shape. Source: (http://i00.i.aliimg.com/wsphoto/v1/729031058_1/New-5-X-font-b-POKEMON-b-font-Emerald-Sapphire-Fire-Red-font-b-Leaf-b.jpg) As shown above is the other shape of GBA cartridges for the GBASP. The games shown above are Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Firered and Leafgreen. If I was to recommend an order for these games for you to purchase or get I would go by this list: 1.) Red and Yellow, get both. 2.) Emerald 3.) Gold or Silver 4.) Ruby or Sapphire 5.) Firered or LeafGreen (I understand I did not list some games but I did not care for the others) NINTENDO DS: Source: (https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-q2uahRJRE8s/UOT5oao9g8I/AAAAAAAADx4/iKLk3BRbfjY/s640/IMG_0548.JPG) This is the DS cartridge. A small chip that would fit into the back of a Nintendo DS Lite or 3DS. Pictured above is Pokemon Black. Here is a picture of all the RP Pokemon Games. Source: ( So if I were to recommend these games in a list here it is. 1.) Pearl or Diamond(Pearl was more popular at the time of release) 2.) SoulSilver or HeartGold(SoulSilver was more popular at time of release) 3.) Black or White (Platinum, Black 2 and White 2 were all continuations and almost the same game with a few extras, so unless you like playing the same game over again I do not suggest getting them). 3DS: Source: (http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/18j2r1j59dwp7jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg) Pictured above is the 3DS game card. Pokemon games to date with this design are Pokemon X and Y, the first Pokemon Games to incorporate 3D Tech and updated Graphics. Now to end it all off, what do I recommend to you, now that you have seen all the Pokemon RP games? Well I suggest to start with Pokemon Emerald as it is a very good GBA game, and to buy a DS LITE to be able to purchase HeartGold or SoulSilver later on to transfer Pokemon from both games with only 1* console. *(To date, only a few GBA to DS games can transfer Pokemon with only 1 Console needed). I hope this was helpful to all of those thinking of playing Pokemon. It becomes pretty addicting after some time. Have fun!
  18. This is just an idea, which I'm throwing out to everyone to see how many people would be interested. Essentially the idea is a Round Robin styled tournament having trainers battling out each other in games of best of 3. After X amount of weeks, the games end and the finals take over to see which Pokemon Trainer is the very best, like no one ever was. The number of rounds depends on how many people participate of course, and if there's an odd amount of people bye matches will be in each round. There will be no site reward to this unless I have this made into an official event, though that is unlikely due to it not being about Halo. The event would just be for people to have fun which is the most important thing with gaming. Post a reply to let me know if you would be interested, if there's above 8 people who would be wanting to see it happen, it will. Otherwise it may not happen, or I'll make it a Double Round Robin tourney. If you have any questions about the idea, ask away.
