I am making a forge map that is similar to a football field, and I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that you could throw a grifball between the field goal posts and score. I know normally you have to be holding the ball to score, but I think this would be a cool feature in my map. Thanks, Blake

Alrighty so here is my problem hopefully someone can help me out. I got the code for the specializations after reaching 70, downloaded them and was a happy gamer. Now after not playing for about two weeks due to the holidays I came back played about three games and reached 100. I went to the specializations and seen all the ones I completed but could not choose a new one. I have already looked through other forums and seen that re downloading from my history should work so I did that last night and nothing happened. I understand that this problem has came up many times and the re downloading it worked for some but I could not find a real solution to the problem. If there is some kind of profile on this site you will see that I just joined for this reason, I don't go out of my way to join a site and write this long paragraph and expect some help if I didn't like the game. I would greatly appreciate it if any one out there could help me out with my problem, gamer tag is kwick276 if it is needed. Thanks.

Ok, starting off, I noticed the venator armor, after a few level achievements, and decided to go for said armor set. I went through enough assassinations to get to the 50 assassination stretch which would give me an assassin mastery. The commendation was titled: Assassin - Mastery. After completing the fifty assassinations, it did not give me the armor, and restarted the challegne for the commendation. The only thing that changed, was that once I complete it this time, I get +2000 exp, instead of +1000 exp. It's still titled: Assassin - Mastery, and I have to get the same 50 assassinations. I am not really angry about it, but I think this may be: 1.) a glitch 2.) something in which the creation of the game that was accidentally done (does happen sometimes) 3.) it may be how it works. But I seriously don't think 3 is the answer. Same title, same assassination count? Has to be something wrong... I don't expect this to be found soon, or to be answered soon, and I will definitely redo the 50 kill stretch, probably before this is answered, thanks to skill. I do not expect this to be fixed for me. For now, I am pointing this out, and asking if this is how it's supposed to work. The only thing it has impacted was about three minutes of my time. Creating a kill joy. I sign off for now.

Hey guys! so I'm having problems with Haven, and its really starting to bother me. It all started when the DLC map pack came out, I downloaded it and played it for a day and then it was taken away, which I get. But after that, I wasn't able to get onto Haven at all. I can't get on the map from either forge, custom games, or matchmaking. The UNISC logo comes up and spins for much longer than it should, then I go black screen and then I'm at the Halo 4 main menu. WHAT DO I DO SO I CAN PLAY HAVEN!?

Hello and i want to buy a computer, i think i found a decent one for gaming. this http://www.shopping....360t-Desktop-PC is a good one i think. to lasy to click it here are some specs (basic settings for it btw) Processer: 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3770 quad-core processor [3.4GHz, 8MB Shared Cache] Memory: 8GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM [2 DIMMs] Graphics: 1GB DDR3 AMD Radeon HD 7570 [HDMI, DVI, VGA via adapter] I think this is really good for gaming. I know the processer is good but the graphics, i heard radon is good but i dont know graphic cards much. All of this is 800$ (on sale). Any help needed

I'm having an issue with the aim assist it seems to have stopped working. My targeting reticule doesn't turn red when I'm on the players head. This is I'm sure effecting the hits I'm not registering because I see the replays and I'm missing by an inch or hiring them without doing damage. Please help I want to play on a level playing field. I'm not sure where to post this to get help with this issue. If you have any insight it would greatly appreciated

I checked on Waypoint and it says I have 23 stomp kills with the mantis, but the Bigfoot achievement hasn't unlocked yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there any fix for it?

So the problem I'm having is every time I go to play I put the halo 4 disc 1 in. Halo logo pops up and then screen turns purple. It started after I downloaded an update about two weeks ago. Was working fine till that update. I have deleted everything off my harddrive, reinstalled, tried to play with out updating but still get the purple screen. Tried to update same thing. Has anyone else had this problem or have any clue how to fix it. Had the game for over 30 days so I can't return it. I need my halo fix please help. Thank you

I was wondering if anyone has information on who I can contact to help me with receiving my specialization code. I meet all the requirements to get the code and did not receive it via e-mail or in a Xbox live message. I contacted Xbox live support but they do not have the ability to give my the code since it is given out by 343 Industry. I appreciate anyone who reads and helps me with this issue! *I checked my spam folder as well, I am not a noob! Cheers!

Anyone who has visited my profile should know that I have done one or two drawings based around the Halo universe. In addition to these I have also drawn a huge range of other pieces that are from other games or from life. I was just wondering is anyone had any tips on how to get my drawings onto the radar? I am more concerned about the Halo ones for the time being as they are the relevant cases in this thread. I wondered if it is at all possible to get through to 343? I would just really like to expand my audience and maybe get a few commissions or attention from someone higher up the ladder of life. Any suggestions are welcome . I will post one or two of my Halo drawings below so that any new comers can see what I'm on about:

I'm going to do my best to lay out what I know here If you are not in North America you are not going to be receiving a specialization code If you are in North America and have not received a code you can expect to see a message over Xbox live with your code between 12-13-12 and 12-17-12 You may also already have the email, check all your folders including spam you might find the code Make sure you check the email you used when you first created your Xbox live account as it may be sent there If you have a code already but your specializations are missing check your memory and delete the specialization package, then redownload it If you went to the marketplace and downloaded the Crimson map pack for 0ms points I have bad news, the map packs are only free until 12-18-12 after that you will have to purchase them to keep using them unless you purchased the Limited Edition I hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to ask

So, I'm an idiot an idiot and deleted the message sent via Xbox Live that unlocks the specializations. I called MS support and Xbox Live support and both forwarded me to the 343i forums. Is there any way I can recover my redemption code? Thanks, Squirell

I need some help... I am in the process of changing my email due to my account being an "@xboxlivefamily.com" account. This account cannot receive emails for some strange reason. So I am in the process of changing my email for that account. I was wondering if there was any way the specialization codes could be sent to that email instead?

Hi all newbie here after some forge help, I've updated a few existing maps using forge for use in custom games mainly for slayer games. But i can't seem to find how you extend the playable area or battlefield? While in forge mode you seem to be able to go more or less anywhere without activating the return to battlefield timer. However when actually playing on these maps via the custom games menu the playable area is actually alot smaller and only then you find our that the stuff its taken you and hour or more to build is acutally useless lol. I have deleted all of the soft killzone areas and now instaid of getting a timer you just die via suicide lol so im just asking if there is a way around this as its quite annoying! apart form that i love forge Thanks for your help Fred

I just hit lvl 90 and for some reason my LE specializations were gone. I only had the option to choose from Wetwork and Operator. Is this a glitch or did you guys put a limit to the number of specializations that can be acquired. Also if this doesn't get fixed, how will I get the other specializations since I did not play Halo 4 before the 20th with a SE. Help please. Any commentary is much appreciated.

I've been playing all night now since it's my day off and between the hours of 03:00hrs and 04:00hrs CST I wasn't given ANY Experience for my games played...Also The Weekly Challenge "DEADEYE" isn't giving me any kills towards it except for the 12 given from the daily challenge "DEADEYE" so having 2 challenges with the same name may be effecting that..the weekly Challenge DEADEYE demands you get 70 kills with head shots with precision weps....I don't know hom much more precision is needed when I'm playing SWAT a DMR and SNIPERS with a SNIPER....also because of this I'm not getting the full potential of my 2x experience through your promotion with Mt.Dew and Doritos...i'd like something done -AngryR4coon

Hey 343, I was playing flood today on Halo 4 with two of my friends as guests and the game told me that I was banned from gaining xp I am not a hacker, but I was in first and some one was raging on me and I killed him twice (fairly) and that happened!! Microsoft support told me to come here and plead my case. Could you please tell me what I did? And if I was wrongly banned could you please fix it? Thank you, Ukna999 P.s how long does the ban last?

Now, I do not want to hear people complaining that Forge is bad, or Forge World needs to come back, what I am here is to let you know how you can improve your confidence in the Forge mode. First things first, managing your Forge files. Always name your Forge files. If you Forge so many maps unnamed, you will find your self buried in Impacts. A safe way to make sure that you can find your map would be to name it something creative and easy to distinguish. Now, most people are sometimes mad when they try to open a map file, and it reads that they are opening a different variant of another map. This indicates that your file has been corrupted. A safe way to have your files protected would to have two of every file. This means that if one of the files are corrupted, you can always use the backup. The second point I want to get to is actually using the Forge. Tired of playing third party custom games that have flawed architecture? Well, if you don't like it, then you shouldn't make maps like that yourself. The first thing you should ever do when you enter Forge is press B, change Rotation Snap to 15 degrees, then scroll down to Magnets and turn them on to low. Now using the Forge, improvising may work for brainstorming and drafting, but your final product must show balance. This means that symmetrical maps are more balanced than asymmetrical maps. Speaking of the devil, when placing pieces, make sure you coordinate your pieces via Edit Coordinates (Press B then A), or that they are connected to Magnets. This will add professional measurement to your maps. Now on to Custom Games, when you desire a complex goal in your gametype, such as Battleship, or Monster Trucks, you must make the map flaw proof. If a single flaw were to be exploited in your map, anyone would abuse it. For instance, if my map was set on an open plain, and there was no walls or boundaries, someone could walk away from the game, and this would prove useful during Flood, but just because it is useful, does not mean that it is designated. The key element to a map is it's operation. What is your map's purpose? Is it a fortress to fight off the Flood? Is it a war ground for Mantis'? Add decor and design to your structures, so that they can shine and add flavor. Choice of map might concern you that are new to Forge. If you want a map that you can create a team war out of, definitely don't pick Erosion. If you are looking for interesting tunneling and large space, choose Impact. If you are looking for a map that involves making a city, I would choose Ravine. It depends on your purpose, and never underestimate the amount of space you need. In conclusion of the longest page on my screen, if you have an idea, go for it. It is better safe then sorry, so copy your files and flaw proof your maps. Never bias a map so that one team is more dominant than the other, and most importantly of all, there is a such thing as too big.
