Love AA's or hate them, they are here to stay in Reach. They made add game types that exclude some or even provide a new version of the "Classic" play list, but AA's are not going anywhere. I don't care for them, but when I play I have no choice but to deal with them.

Samfish I feel your pain buddy. When my nephew got the Red Ring of Death he was crushed. I gave him my 360 and my previous account so he could play. When his 360 returned it failed again so I let him keep mine. As for the Reach not reading, it does not sound like you have had a chance for to fail yet. I have worked with numerous friends helping to navigate them through problems. Twinreaper has a Q and A in the Reach thread for technical problems, Give him a post and get his input. I don't know how old you are, but places like Buddy Buy Rite do rent to own 360's for $30.00 down. May not be the best solution, but will get you online. Again, sorry to hear about the problem.

With all due respect SterkOks, there is no need to antagonize someone who feels differently about the game. I respect what you have to say and will debate topics with you or anyone else whether we agree or disagree on a subject, but this forum is for all of us. Why do you think that the Halo 3 engine was not used for the MM for HCEA? It seemed natural to me to have the Master Chief fight as a himself, not a Noble Team member.

I am currently playing on a bridged connection through my laptop, but am unable to get enough signal to prevent lag while playing Reach. Trying to do it was tough, there were numerous "How To's" on You Tube that had different approaches. Is there any way to improve signal reception and if using the current Windows 7 Home Premium what bridge technique is the simplest way to connect?

Maps that have vehicles for the 4v4 variants like in the old days, a forge system that reflects the ideas in the "pinned" forge thread in this forum, innovative ranking that shows your actual skill for both game types and overall ability. A ranked gaming area that allows those who want to play at their top level against other who do and be known for it like in the previous Halo's 2 and 3. I just want 343ind. to get the series back on track with Halo 4 so we can rally behind the best damn game in the universe. That is all.

If anyone burns me for sharing this.....I will come after you! lol I have always like Sky Blue. As a kid I would lay on the beach looking up at the clouds and see all sorts of images, a fun game my mom taught me. When I do it now a days, I always tend to see some Halo related image.

SterkOks I see you are jumping right in and are a man after my own heart when it comes to Halo. This is an OP I posted soon after joining, you may like it. I have longed for some time to hear that music, play like we used to with the new graphics and engine and damn sure get that "old Halo" feel back that holds Halo heart in it's hands and makes it beat! Reach feel short for me too, though I know others really love the game, I rarely play. I know playing the seven HCEA maps on the Reach engine will restart my play in Reach and mix the two for an incredible experience. By the way, I have a little story in the GD (General Discussion) about Johnny. A little boy destined to become our beloved Master Chief. If you are interested, check it out here.

Hey SterkOks. Looks like you have gotten completely immersed into the game series and it's stories. I really look forward to seeing your posts and hearing your opinion on the topics. There are some cool features for posting, signatures and profile customization. Take you time to review the site and play around with it. We try to maintain a friendly atmosphere here, so jump right in.

I like the idea of a map with heavy vegetation on it. Remember the first campaign mission in H3 where there were trees, creeks, bushes, fallen trees as bridges, the river near the structures, deep cut ravines with overhead paths. That would be a great environment to battle in.

I agree. Forge world maps are good, but there should be an option for just the shipped maps. Of course there were a few forge maps shipped with the game. There also needs to be more shipped maps set for 4v4 and 4v4 objective. Mix it up a bit.

They don't have a choice here. They are not going to reinvent the wheel for a short lived MM that has only seven maps. It is a gift to the fans, period. There efforts are mainly being spent on H4 and they are trying to get to market as soon as possible without compromising the game in any way. How would you ever expect them to create a new system in such a short period of time and hit the anniversary date? I am with you in heart, I wanted the MM on the H3 engine, but soon realized that was not an option. I feel your anxiety though, big time!
