  1. TDK is a Halo MCC Clan that you can easily join. Its a public clan so feel free to join whenever you want. We don't really have a specific format we play so we kinda just do whatever (though I mostly play 4v4s). Feel free to make your clan tag in Halo MCC "[T.D.K.]" and be a part of TDK. We have a discord server currently. TDK Flag: Have fun in TDK If you want to, feel free to invite friends as this is public.
  2. Xbox needs higher sensitivity, this is one of the only games I play that still has grandma sensitivity. Give xbox players the same sensitivity options at PC and make the fights more fair.
  3. We are the Special Tactics Group (STG), a brand new clan designed to support the players, whether you are competitive and strive to take your skill into the professional arena or you're a casual gamer who just wants to blow off some steam after a hard days work. Our mission at STG is to provide you with plenty to do and plenty of players to do it with. STG empowers its members to get into the game and play the game types and playlists that they want. All members are able and encouraged to create Events via our website www.stg-hq.com, those events are pushed to our Discord server letting anyone who is looking for a game know that a lobby is forming. STG was founded on the universal understanding that playing alone really sucks! And you shouldn't have to do it! Don't Play Alone! Have a crappy kill death ratio? We don't have a k/d requirement and we host events to help improve your play anyway! Can't play more than once per month? Perfect, our only activity requirement is that you attend at least 1 event per month! While we currently only support Halo: MCC for both PC and XBOX we are always looking to expand into other game franchises! So if what you read sounds appealing or you want to learn more visit our website at www.stg-hq.com or check us out on Discord here. And remember, Don't Play Alone! Additional Member Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a working microphone Must have Discord
  4. Hi everyone, Spartan here with Site Poll 105...yes, I'm really back for it. Please, contain your excitement. Hold your applause. Keep your underwear on. Unfortunately both Yoshi and Maestro failed to uphold my legacy with the Site Polls that I greatly invested in, thanks guys (love ya really ). Honestly wanna thank them both for producing five more polls after I stepped down, it was much appreciated. I can't say for sure whether I'll be doing these weekly like I used to, but you can expect one every now and then. This community had and will always have a special place in my heart, and it's all of you, the people, that make it. Speaking of this awesome community, let's dive into Poll 105. Will Halo: Infinite reignite the 343ICF? I joined in 2013, just over over 6 years ago now. When I joined, the place was starting to buzz with life. It was warming up again after a previous period of inactivity. I can't speak too much for the 2011 to early-2013 state of the site, but from what I made out, 2013/2014 was the peak of this community's activity. Members were like family with each other, I'd come back home everyday to join my new-found friends here. We all had something in common, various things in common in many cases. Remember the days of forum games? Now we can't even get a flowing convo in the shoutbox. I'm guilty of inactivity as well, the already-present growing lack of activity here didn't give me anymore reason to return and stay for long. I always end up coming back though, because there's truly no place like home. Now Infinite is shaping up to be impressive, and we're getting a sick port of Reach to Xbox One and PC soon (hopefully). The Halo community is still very active, and will only get more hyped as time progresses. But what about our community? Waypoint's a nice house, but it's not home. Do any of you think the upcoming Halo content, namely Infinite, will bring the community back to life? Will it potentially bring new members that'll be here to stay, or have older members return for good? A familiar face is always nice, and a fresh one with passion is just as good. Or do you think the community has had it's time, and will begin fossilising soon enough? There's always potential for life to be breathed into this old dog. If Infinite won't do it, Reach and the MCC port to PC may. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. As always, Spartan out.

  16. The Halo franchise has reached a prodigious mile-stone, selling over 65 million units on all platforms to date! Halo is a legendary series that we've all come to know and love, though it's changed in many ways over the years, it has still managed to keep a sense of magic and awe to it. It's been reported by IGN.com that the game series has sold a combined total of over 65 million units worldwide on the original Xbox, the Xbox 360, and of course the younger grandson, the Xbox One. It is very likely that these numbers will grow higher with the upcoming release of Halo 5: Guardians, and because of it, sales for Halo: The Master Chief Collection may also increase. What is surprising is that Halo: The Master Chief Collection only sold about 1 million copies in its first week, with factors like a broken launch and a new platform tying into the retrospectively small outcome. This year marks the 14th anniversary for the legendary franchise, and Halo 5: Guardians will be the 8th game in the franchise, excluding remasters and mobiles. 21. This months update adds the highly requested voice message option we've been missing since we upgraded from the Xbox 360. Once you've downloaded the update you can send and recieve voice messages from both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Recording and sending a voice message is done through the snapped messages app. Another popular request was to be able to power up your console through the Xbox One Smartglass app. The Smartgalss app has been updated for all platforms (Windows, Windows phone, Android and iOS) and will now let you turn your Xbox One on and off if they're on the same network. Your Xbox One will need to be on Instant-On power mode for this to work. Next up is user selectable power modes. This update adds the option to either set your Xbox One to Instant-On power mode, which let's you use the voice command "Xbox On" to power up and download updates on the background, or Energy-Saving mode ,which shuts down your console completely in order to save power. This initial set-up feature was, untill now, only available in Europe but will now be available worldwide. Lastly we have dedicated servers for party chat. Back in March dedicated servers were set up for party chat and were made available for preview program members for testing. Now it's being expanded to everyone owning an Xbox One. These dedicated servers should resolve the problems of some people with different NAT settings not being able to use or join the party chat system. The dedicated servers will be made available to everyone over the course of a few weeks to ensure things go smoothly. What are your thoughts on these new features and fixes? Let us know down below! Thank you for reading! Source: Xbox Wire

  23. According to and (unable to find official sources at the moment)Halo fans have the chance to become an official part of the Halo universe as they are given the chance for their voice to be included in Halo 5's Hunt the Truth. Fans and followers of Benjamin Giraud's investigation into the Master Chief can be part of the series as it appears 343 Industries are giving people a change to submit an audio clip of their voice to Hunt the Truth's Tumblr page. Those who get accepted will have their voice heard in a future episode. The announcement came earlier today. "We know that you're a huge Halo fan- and we love it! For this part, though, you'll need to put yourself in the mindset of an ordinary UEG citizen. That means you're as in the dark as Ben is about the truth behind the Master Chief and his origins." Three choices on what participants can theme their recording around was also given out. THE PART YOU'LL PLAY There are three character types that these messages will roughly fit into: 1- People who support Ben in his hunt They also have questions about the Master Chief, ONI, and what the government is trying to hide. Don't forget, though, that because these people live in the Halo universe, they've never played a Halo game or read a Halo book; so they can really only be curious and guess what Ben has mentioned. 2- People who LOVE the Master Chief and don't appreciate Ben poking around The Halo universe can be a scary place - and the MC has been the only thing keeping us safe on more than one occasion. Fear can be a powerful motivator. It can make us blind to the truth; to curiously. These people don't appreciate Ben poking around and angrily perceive his inquiries as disrespectful. The MC is a hero and it doesn't matter where he came from. 3- People reveling in the anarchy Whether it's because they don't trust the government, they're fatalistic, or they think Ben and his investigation is a joke- these people aren't impressed by Ben or curious about the Chief. They are interested, however, in pushing Ben's buttons and yanking his crank. They leave pranks, taunts, and mocking messages. Voice recordings must be 15 - 20 seconds long. You can upload it as a Youtube video but make sure it is uploaded as "Unlisted", you can also upload it to SoundCloud but make sure to make it private. Once you've recorded your voice provide a link to ir in the submission box on the Tumblr site (linked above) so it can be downloaded, also make sure to leave a message saying "Greenskull sent sent" or "Halo Follow sent me". Submissions close at 11:59pm Pacific Time on April 27th. There is no script so try and think something creative to say. Again I just want to point out there is no official announcement from 343 Industries or Microsoft regarding this, so it seems they have contacted the likes of RUL and Halo Follower for them to announce it to the community. Will you be making a submission? If so good luck.
