  1. What if flood could drive cars, use guns, do things they've never done before. They could create a whole new gametype. Gravedanger: In this gamemode you are either flood or spartans. Both can use covenant, human, and forerunner weapons and vehicles. A gravemind has formed and the flood are becoming stronger mentally with it being created. your job is to exterminate the flood and destroy the gravemind. 16 vs 16 battles Custom game flood: In custom games there could be flood AI that could be customized for example you can have a flood move in a certain direction only or have it have no A.I ( customize), dumb A.I ( has regular flood traits) or smart A.I( gravemind flood can drive, will go after weapons, pickup weapons, drive vehicles, and steal ordinance.)

It is completely Forged by Trio of Kings, with no mods. The "fan" in the center of the map does not move, and wouldn't be able to move unless someone did some fancy editing with the Forklift Mod. The map uses most of the same layout, weapons, and vehicles, but when the budget ran out some parts of the map weren't the same as the classic map we all love.   3. I know this is REALLY old, but I saw a video of The Arbiter from Halo Wars suposdly being in Reach. The video was just saying how Ripa uses his Energey Sword on left hand. Then, right before Six's death a Eiltes Sword is actived using his left hand. People say it is, but didn't Ripa die by John Forge ? Also, people have also said that it's infact Thel Vadam, The Arbiter from Halo 2 & 3, which I kinda agree. Why ? Because Thel was like in charge of the glassing of Reach when he didn't become The Arbiter yet. So, could have that been him ? I know this is really old, but I'm curious!!
  4. Since ODST came out, people jumped on the band wangon about it. "Oh, Where's MASTER CHIEF ???" And "WTF ?? THERES NO MATCHMAKING" were the reason why people hated on it. Because there was no Master Chief and MatchMaking. So what ? For once were some tough ass Super Solider or Alien, were finally a normal human being. And admit it, walking around the map, all dark and scary, was really fun. I loved the Campaign, The Rookie is awesome character. People hate him because he never talks. Like really ? Link from Legend of Zelda never talks or the main character from BioShock or anybody else never talks, nobody hated on them. Yeah sure the dialouge was cheesy for some characters (Yeah well... here I am). But no mission felt the same and playing as other ODSTs was awesome. Then here's the big reason; There's no matchmaking. Who gives a **** if there no matchmaking ? Halo: CB didn't have matchmaking. Instead of matchmaking, we got FireFight a cool and fun game mode. Then Halo 4. Before it came out, everybody was super hyped about. Now look, everybody has mix feelings about. Some feel the Campaign was too short and the gameplay was different. So what ? We got the Sequel to Master Chief's story! And while playing the campaign, i didn't care the **** Chief goes through, all I cared about was Chief and Cortana relationship. And people were like "Oh, MatchMaking is broken" and it's not the same, I agree. I don't see why you rank up to get armor, why not just unlock in ODST and Halo 3 or buy it like in Reach. But I don't really care for the mutiplayer in Halo 4. I enjoyed the Campaign and I think it was a great Halo game. So what do you think is better ? ODST or Halo 4 ? For me, it's a tough one to say, and because I love these games, but I pick Halo 4, only because it's dark atmosphere and Chief and Cortana relationship. I know I'm missing alot of other reasons about these games that make them not bad games, but I'm lazy to type and my thumbs hurt. lol.

This game type, created by Certain Affinity, has captured the interest of some of the best forgers in Halo for a reason. We challenge all forgers to bring their creative ideas and technical forge skills to any forge canvas you choose and build your ideal Dominion map! This is an official map submission thread for the "Meet Your Maker" - Dominion Forge Contest! Questions and Answers thread. Submissions will be received until 11:59 PM EST September 6th 2013 Forge Rules and Guidelines Three bases only are required for this contest. Maps must be compatible with 6 V 6 player Dominion. A maximum of two (2) submissions per forger or forge group. Base resupply set based on match making standards, per the new update.* Only one capture terminal per base and only capture terminals may be used for base capture.   9. Through out this summer, I've played nothing but Halo. And I played and past Halo 3 and ODST solo on Legendary twice, Reach on Heroic solo, and Halo 4 on Legendary solo and I notice I have better skill and became a better Halo Player in MatchMaking. Now I'm good with precision wepons at long range, and I Snipe way more better then I used to. It's pretty shocking lol. I did plan to play Halo: CBA on Legendary but I'm exhausted. And I will NEVER play Halo 2 on Legendary... my god, that's like your in Hell and the devil forces you to play that forever lol. :'(
  10. Well the time has finally arrived, the Get A Clue Forge Contest results are in! As a Clue enthusiast, I was lucky enough to be handpicked by Master Debaytes as one of the contest judges, and i can tell you it was a hoot to participate. Playing submissions nightly in Clue lobbies, and genuinely having a great time in the process. Many fantastic clue maps were submitted, it became quite tough to decide an order near the end. So without further adieu, here are your results! - CORDUROYCHUCK First Place CHATEAU DE CLUE 2!! by FragsturBait It has everything you could want from a clue map. From a starting dock with plenty of secrets looming down below, to a dragon overlooking all the explosions and blood. As an innocent you've got plenty of places to go in an attempt to stay safe, but a killer could always be lurking in the trees above. Yes, in the trees. If you're smart you'll try and stay up high and watch with the dragon. If you're lazy, maybe you'll hide in a crate or have a seat in an impossible chair. As a killer, it's a playground. Remember those trees? Yeah. I can recall instances where i'd hop through them all Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon style. Finding cover after committing a violent act can be very easy, the map's got plenty of castle walls to hide behind or rooms to calmly have a seat in. Impossibly. Fire an incineration cannon, make the peasants think the dragon's burninating the countryside, or quietly lurk in the hidden rooms below, it's truly up to you on Chateau De Clue 2. - CORDUROYCHUCK This forum under construction.
  11. "Conversion is an asymmetrical, progressive-objective based game mode. It has many similarities to modes such as Invasion and Territories in Halo: Reach alongside a balanced weapon setup and the smooth gameplay of Halo 4. It is a blend of some of the best features from the Halo series and it will fill the void many feel in the series after the removal of asymmetric game modes with Halo 4. While many people have tried to make similar modes to try to recapture Invasion in Halo 4, The Psycho duck and I decided we wanted to create a standardized mode and map type so that many people could become involved not just in playing Conversion, but in making their own maps for it. Because the mode is standardized and the maps designed around it, anyone who has played the game mode could potentially make their own Conversion map. There are 2 completed Conversion maps fully tested and ready to be played right now, both created by Duck and myself, but there are also many more in the works or in the planning stages by other members of the Halo community. The game type is not modded, so for those of you who prefer to shy away from modding this mode is completely legitimate." - Flyingshoe ILR "The first of those maps is Firebase, a medium sized Conversion map set on Ravine. Firebase uses Ravine's terrain in new and interesting ways in order to feel like a completely different place, yet still feel rooted in the Halo universe.   16. Hi everyone, I'm working on a flood map and I need a way for the flood to be forced to spawn at the nearest attacker spawn point to the uninfected players. For example if the humans are in the 5th room of the map then the flood shouldn't spawn in the first unless that his the location of the nearest spawns. Any help on this would be much appreciated as the map really wont work right if I can't do this.

Anyways, I love Halo, its endless amounts of customization options, from your Spartan to a new map entirely, allow for the game to always have new and amazing content to play, always challenging you to search the file share or the 343i forums to find new maps or mini-games to keep you and your lobby happy. Another game I like is Call of Duty, to an extent, World at War being my favorite. This game may be different from Halo entirely, yet with the customization options of Forge and Custom Games, people could literally make Halo the next Call of Duty. Anyways, World at War was fun, but considering that the game now is mainly filled with hackers and modders that mostly ruin the game experience, plus the only World at War maps on the file share are the zombies maps, I decided to take a look into some of the maps and came across Corrosion on the 2nd map pack, a Russia versus Germany map that takes place at a war torn Russian train yard. This map is the smallest map in the game to allow Ground War (the equivalent of Big Team Battle in Halo), making it a good map for large lobbies. It's mainly a vertical map alternating between the first and second floors of the main building, allowing for many multi-level firefights. With many ways up to the second floor, from stairs to train cars to broken pipes, there are an abundance of ways to get from ground to second floor. After a bit of play testing, I've fixed any movement problems found with the floor, so you are always guaranteed to run across the map without running into a single bump. Compatible Game Modes: Slayer (FFA / Team) Capture the Flag Dominion King of the Hill (FFA / Team) Grifball (Yes, Grifball) Flood Oddball (FFA / Team) Regicide (FFA / Team) As you can tell from the first picture and description you saw, this map has been made compatible with every game type, excluding extraction. I added an abundance of neutral spawns all across the map to leave spawn killing almost absent, yet I also added spawn zones for a few of the team based game modes, like Capture the Flag and Grifball (yes, I made it compatible with Grifball), and base spawn points for Dominion. On the topic for Dominion, there are three bases, but the only benefits for two of them is a single weapon resupply drop at Alpha and Charlie, while Bravo controls the main building, and as such, controls the initial and random ordinance drops in the building, which leaves any objective ordinance a bit too much. Nearly all of the game types have not been tested on the map, aside from Slayer, which the map is suppose to be played on normally. If you experience any issues with game types other than Slayer, please contact me via the comments and address it. I will try to read your comment as soon as possible and fix the problem if it is present. Weapons: Shotgun x1 Railgun x1 Random Ordinance x3: x2 (Grenade/Plasma/Pulse), x1 (Speed Boost/Damage Boost/Overshield) Objective Ordinance x2 (Dominion only) The Shotgun, Railgun, and one of the random ordinances are located in the center building, the shotgun is located on the center floor walkway, while the other drops are below it on the ground floor. The two random grenade ordinances are found on the outskirts of the map. Bugs: The only bugs is whether or not the objective gamemodes are balanced on this map. Overall: This is a great vertical map that can have migrating firefights on the outside of the map, yet mainly focuses on the main building in the center. The dominant weapons in the game would possibly be the mid to long range weapons on the outskirts while the short to mid range weapons dominate the interior building. If you like recreation, asymmetrical, and or maps that are compatible with other game types, give this map a download and enjoy the map. I will post links to my game types I made for this map on Slayer soon, built with near balanced classes based on the Call of Duty game as well as physics from the game to give you a near complete nostalgic COD experience. Made ramp inside the center building shorter and slightly steeper. Removed wall next to the ramp inside the center building to allow a more open feel to the interior building. Replaced a few rocks to fix previous shading problems. Removed a few rocks for replacements with other rocks and or building blocks. Changed a few walls from double walls to bridge, larges. Made the center catwalk 1.5 units wide instead of the previous 1.0 units. Fixed block texture issues. Replaced a few floors from bridge pieces to building blocks. 8/12/13: Fixed a few misplaced blocks. Added lights inside the center building to give it better lighting. Added a few extra asthetic pieces.

  23. So I was sitting here trying to figure out some of the things that was interesting about Reach and isn't in Halo 4. I completely forgot that 343i didn't even bring armor effects over into Halo 4. I always thought the grunt birthday party effect was funny and the flaming helmet too. I realize the flaming helmet is a thing is something that Bungie started, but why not continue it?
  24. So, i recently picked up a copy of Halo 3 again, this time it isn't going anywhere. I've played through the campaign on co-op Legendary, retrieving all of the skulls. However half way through we were not connected to xbox live and we didn't know that. After the credits i looked to see if i'd gotten Hyabusa armor, since i collected all skulls. I did, now, when i got to my house it said that i didn't have all of the skulls, i was missing one, wich is the iwhbyd skull. So, i played through it on single player, normal, because i just wanted the skull, but i put the code it, kill all of the flood and i get nothing . I have wasted a lot of time doing this. I've done nearly five playthroughs of the same level on normal, two on heroic, and two and legendary, but i'm still getting nothing, i would really appreciate help because it's getting very irritating .
  25. These two maps are in a small collection of maps i decided to make, and they are places i believe the UNSC Could have built on Requiem. The first map is called Infiltration and there are two of them in my fileshare one is Free For All only and the other has no spawns for those who wish to make the map for other game modes, It makes use of the halo 4 Trait Zones and has a gravity displacer that reduced gravity with in it's range. The second Map is called Signal and is my own personal spin off of halo 2's Ascention. And there you have it... my two maps.
