Question...when we move to attack a territory, do we have to identify specifically what units we are moving into attack with and if/when we take the territory do we keep our units in that territory? Do we have to identify where our forces are if we have control of more than one area? Other question if we are invaded and occupied, are we allowed to set up governments in exile with allied states, counter-insurgency's, etc. etc?

Production of Missile Cruiser was completed, beginning construction on second Cruiser, will be complete by tommorrow. Current troop totals are: -10,000 Militia Men (can be deployed in adjacent states by Delaware as Guerillas OR supplied to other states/Alliances as Mercanary Guerillas with aforementioned abilities). -6 Coastal Defense Batteries ranging up and down our coast. -6 Guided Missile AA Batteries -1 B-2 Stealth Bomber -2 B-52 Bombers -2 C-130 "Spectre" Gunships -2 C-130 "Hercules" Transport Planes (will use to transport Militia to other states/Alliances as well as deployment of Militia as Airborne Troops) -2 Thuderbolt II "Warthog" ground attack planes -Wing of 12 F-22 Raptors. -1 Missile Cruiser. Flying Reconaissance over Pennsylvania and Undead's forces with the few F-22's I can fly with limited fuel. Repeating offers for Militia services in exchange for Armored Vehicles, Fuel, Industrial equipement etc. Converting 4000 Militiamen into regular troops for Airborne Operations. AA and Coastal Batteries have been placed on High Alert.

Forget what 343 is saying...just listen to the music they have made...for the most part, what we hear is very much in the Halo tradition, but there is probably going to be a sizeable chunk of more digitalish-hard hitting stuff.

Well there's so many different types...for example, I saw my friend Greg for the first time...he was wearing glasses, had a well trimmed beard, a peddlers hat, intellectual glasses, a black and trendy overcoat, and a pipe. I immediately (and correctly) assumed he was an Atheist...but idk what it was...perhaps it was that he looked like an Artist, a Liberal, and an Intellectual, and people who fall into all three of those categories are often Atheists. But there are plenty of people who show absolutely no outward sign of their internal ideology.

It should get removed simply to get rid of the announcer...that and, if people were meant to carry that flag that fast, they would.

EMP: Armor Lock esque ability that stuns vehicles and/or drains shields/shuts off radar, in local area for a short duration (think 2 seconds). Casting player is immobile while ability is active and his/her shields are completely drained regardless of how long he stayed in EMP mode. In addition, players whose shields were drained by the EMP will be recharged very fast. In addition, any vehicle that is carried out of the EMP radius by momentum will remain stunned for no more than 1 second. The duration, AoE and recharge rate (which should be high) could all be tweaked for balances sake.

You couldnt make them a real threat as an individiual...that would be an affront to Grunt-dom...making them really mean as a pack is possible though.

Will trade the services of our Militiamen for supplies, priority given to Industrial neccessities, and fuel, both of which we are lacking. Will also provide 500 trained men from our militia, for use as Guerilla units, as a token of our good will to any Alliance/State to any alliance which promises to protect us against aggressors. Additional Mercanary Guerillas will be provided to an alliance which gives more Goods. Our Fuel supplies were blown up by Pennslyvania as they abandoned the area, desperately need fuel as we cannot employ Air force until fuel is aquired. Instead of moving troops, have begun drive among citizens to exchange fuel for War Bonds. Fuel stocks will be sufficient to begin restricted Air operations in one day.

Not sure if you mean the chopper or the warthog, (hence my previous response) but with regards to the Rocket Hog perhaps a two person half track based kinda-sorta on the Warthog Chassis, with the person in the back seat controlling the rockets... Though having full lock-on rockets ala the halo 3 missile pod would be way too op...perhaps having a firing mode where you switch between a volley of dumb rockets and a single guided rocket? Who knows...maybe rockets should shift kinda like charged Plasma pistol shots...

Haha Doc, you point out whats ironic. By changing to become more like CoD at all, Halo is also changing from CoD with that whole thing we video game insiders like to call "change". So Halo's CoD-ness is probably in neutral territory right now... Besides CoD neither invented most of the things that its become known for in the FPS arena, nor is it the only game with those traits now...if Halo took almost any step to bring itself into similiar lines as other FPS's, it's inevitable that someone is going to cry "CoD"!

People gotta remember that 343 have not themselves said that Elites will not be playable in custom, forge, Ops, even certain playlists in Matchmaking ala Reach...the idea of Elites being excluded completely is something which Game Informer said beacuse they didn't see Elites in the MP they played... Its looking more and more like Elites will not return to Halo 3 levels but will still occupy a substantial place...hopefully paving a way for their full return to matchmaking once it becomes canonically sound in future Halo games. *crosses fingers for that last part*

I think they are more ugly but in a good way...more disconcerting to fight. Its possible for something to be ugly but stylistically appealing at the same time...all about context and balance of the different elements. I don't care too much for the bare armed Elites but the Red elite and Grunt look real good to me.

Halo is becoming more like COD, that is the simple truth. But it is not going to be a carbon copy.

Chopper! Theres not a chance in hell that they arent bringing back the old classics (Scorpion!). And Its already confirmed they are bringing back the Banshee (my baby!). The only vehicle which they might not (in fact probably will not seeing as how its non canonical) bring back is the Chopper. BUT I LUV TEH CHOPPER! Interesting idea...if they were going to do so you'd expet it to look and function like the AA wolverine from Hwars though.
