  1. -limit the loudouts to the primaries- assualt rifle WITH a magnum and plasma pistol (for team slayer and big team) (i advocate for plasma pistol in loadouts) -only make 2! loudouts possible.(other gametypes) and you unlock the third by being a certain skill rank >29 out of 50 -make LESS havoc in big team. make weapons spawn without an ordinance. please.... -take away personal ordinances but keep them for weapon placement -bring back the mauler and smg for dual wielding -make the magnum dual wield-able but figure out a way to keep it's rapid rate of fire when you have only one. dual wield more effective if you have skill -make the boltshot a pickup only weapon and remove the scattershot COMPLETELY (im dead serious) -make the br an underpowered weapon to a slight degree... if nubs beat you with a dmr then you have an excuse -replace spartan ops with firefight(loadouts will be the assualt rifle and magnum) -put flood in firefight with elite play-ability -replace flood mode in matchmaking with infection(just do it) -bring back the chopper and hornet. -use halo 2 maps as inspiration in halo 5. everyone will be happy -remove concussion rifle, suppressor, and storm rifle and replace with brute shot and spiker -bring back the credit system to buy a wide assortment of armor -make the spartans look more weathered. strike a combination between reach and halo 4 -

Edit: you can get H4 and H:Reach with a torrent on your pc but with the FBI policy these days id expect some bad chiz to happen to you after trying that. they would prob. fine you and take away your internet.

I think a flood infected Promethean would be epic, though the lore would make it impossible. back to topic.... am i the only one who was entranced by the elites' mouths? in halo 3 i would continually melee their face to watch their jawbones move aimlessly then settle." oh boy! i loved wacking those mouths!"- The sanghelli in Halo 4 lacked any real momentum in the game because they were overshadowed by those dastardly Prometheans. the individual enemies in all the halo games have procured their own identifiable storyboard potence. elites- clergy and honor guard, their presence gave the games an abysmal undertone along with the prophets, (especially halo:reach) their horizontal warfare makes aiming a challenge flood- any game needs a sense of horror and i enjoy their evolutionary functionality- gravemind made H2 badass, collective intelligence brute- imo they were scarier than the flood. my favorite part of the campaigns was when they were trying to headbutt me promethean- was a creative way of showing off forerunner design. their presence worked well in the misty jungles and rocky terrain, where they seemed the most aesthetically pleasing to the environment. i would rather see the flood or storm in the forerunner environment. elites were essential to the mysterious elements of the game. if 343 intends to center the story-line around some awkward (starship-trooper/TV criminal investigation workplace) (minus the criminals and prometheans instead of bugs) conglomerate as mostly seen in spartan ops then i believe that the game has no place for elites. what will work is the brutes and prometheans though the lore works against this to a lesser extent than the promethean/ flood thing. fyi; brutes are being enslaved during H4
  4. Screw those Promethean weapons. i miss you mauler and chopper. RIP... Adversely, i think the magnum was the side-arm of choice in every map except Adrift, and even then i could still pull-back that claim. a magnum can outclass a primary at med.-long/ med. range for a skilled magnum user, while the boltshot is to the advantage to anyone claustrophobic-ly mashed up into a "Cargo" sized map(MW2). Really, the boltshot's advantage doesnt exist with the conglomeration of easily obtainable shotguns and other f'ckers with boltshots. magnum all the way!
  5. confirming both at the same time would be unbelievable. i would probably contract rabies in the floor, with white bubbles gurgling out of my mouth and my eyes blank in pure glory. Halo 4 was a great game that needed improvement, so i know for sure that i will enjoy every game they make for me. ~logged 27-ish days on it b4 quitting it.
  6. This is just a ploy to get people and families with Wiis(mostly) to buy a Wii U. I doubt it would really help. The Wii U had been out for 8 months(possibly inaccurate but you get the jest) but both the PS4 and the XB1 cumulatively out-sold it in a week.
  7. Wow, this thread feels so old now. Yes, excuse my young and ignorant self for not thinking before typing. ... Ordinances don't have any difference in the regards of your point stated , unless, they can be randomized. They have done this by making it a kill-streak reward though maps i have seen typically only use initial ordnance and never random ordinances, still leaving plenty of room for this campy game-play style you have mentioned just to a far lesser scale. Only competitive game-play follows the originals Halo's example, and of course it would be because competitive is full of nostalgic gamers. lol vehicle ordinances sounds like an interesting idea... I'm quoting this so i won't forget to read it later and hopefully it may convince others to read it too. I'm not in the mood to read an entire dissertation(Just to express how anguishing reading this gorgeously typed essay would be to read) at the moment.

  9. When you think about it it does sort of bridge the line between a mini -game and a primary game-type yet i would never consider it a mini-game at all. When i play it it purely feels like a competitive gametype that squeezes out as much excitement as possible which is a characteristic of a well made mini-game. ive played this gametype with my friend JSKI and it is without a doubt the best competitive game-play i have ever seen. I'm a little perplexed about how the creators managed to do the things they've done with extraction. I'm hoping to learn pretty soon. I have gameplay of conversion on my fileshare- GT: Delpen9

It is impossible to pick this up in the video but according to this upcoming link, extraction isnt the catch to this new gametype. frankly if this is the gametype that this link says it is then it is more adapted than the original idea maker thought up. I'm guessing that they merged this gametype idea with extraction(which actually sounds really fun to me). Imagine a "two-way" flood game with an extraction target. This essentially makes two possible ways to win: objective conversion win, or player conversion win.   14. Braces of any types are very susceptible to the one degree glitch making the map look bad even though they are very pretty decorations. Also, braces have poor magnet movement. You can use wall coliseums but just move part of it below the flooring to make the walls seem smaller. Wall coliseums have a very clean look but due to poor designing on 343's part it's hard to use them for flooring when used in unison with building blocks. Block 3*4 tall and block 5*5 tall are common structural items and try to refrain from using buildings unless absolutely necessary.(building look unprofessional normally). Just remember that spawning comes second to map structure but can still break the map if implemented improperly. Note: lol defective means prone to malfunction
  15. i think you should try to rework the map conserving as many blocks as possible so that you can make the structure bigger next time :3

  17. Well, it's a nice clean forge but im not the greatest fan of buildings(choice in structure menu) being used in competitive maps to create playable areas. Be aware that this is just a preference.
  18. I don't want to "send-to-Xbox" because it always has this glitch where it constantly sends the map to my local files but the map looks pretty cool. The jumps seemed a little forced yet i will give you that i would never have thought of your jump up placement if it weren't so cleverly placed. The spawning is all right considering that it is pretty hard to screw spawns on a linear map. The amp seems too crunched in for 6-12 gameplay. I would say it is best for 1v1, 3v3, and 4v4 TS. Capture the flag would work well on this map because the flag carrier would often be forced to go to the bottom of the map which is susceptible to everyone. This map would truly make a hardcore CTF match. CTF notes: Flag carrier would be attacked near top and would mostly dominate any who oppose at bottom floor. Keep 1 person with the flag carrier at bottom floor while the rest of the team picks off the other team from top floor(other team either jumps to bottom floor or is distracted by flag carrier while shooting at top floor. The only hope for the opposing team is if they can out-fire your team on top floor so they can swiftly take out the bottom flag carrier and supporter team-mate. By this time the top floor players would again have the advantage. This map will take a while to capture the flag yet surely the flag will be captured first try(as in flag wont be respawned)

  21. I would like to see flood infected Spartans in campaign as some sort of minor flood boss but i dont want them to be like they are in multiplayer. The flood would still infect other creatures and i dont see anything wrong with them being in firefight.
