  1. No offence, but this topic is kind of pointless. If Master Chief died/didn't escape, then there wouldn't even be a Halo 4 ?
  2. People are still posting on this ?? LOLOLOL. Halo 4 has changed a lot since this was posted and is looking great so far. Good job 343i ! Remember guys, just like my signature says: Have Faith.
  3. I like them, especially the triple kill medal. I never understand though why people even cared. I mean come one, are you really paying attention to EVERY medal?
  4. The voice is only a placeholder. Dont feel like pulling up the interview, but trust me, its just one of the 343i guys who did that voice.
  5. I dont ever want to see his face.. but I if I had to, iit would be like this: In Halo 6 - The Halo Array is about to go off and Master Chief has to stop it. Seeing there's no time to make it off alive, he sacrifices himself. Like most Spartans do when they know their going to die, he takes his helmet off (The camera is facing behind him though, so you can only see the back of his head, not his actual face. So the wonder of what he looks like is still kept somewhat, and everybody ends up happy). He stops the Halo Array right as it is about to go off and dies doing it somehow in an honorable way.
  6. Hologram was confirmed to return.. So good find!
  7. My personal opinion on all of these new features for Halo 4. I'm actually excited for Halo 4, and do NOT think it will be like COD. I guess I'm part of the 1% who think that. lolololo Spartan Points I actually like this idea a lot. It sounds very similar to Halo: Reach's Credit system, and I really enjoyed being able to see myself gain money for getting kills and winning matches. The only thing Reach lacked, was a Ranking System. But it has already been stated that Halo 4 will indeed have a Ranking System, so I think this will work pretty well. Spartan Ops This Idea has me pumped! Its basically story-mode objective missions, that are updated every week. They are free, and will keep on coming for months after the game release. It seems like it will keep me, along with the rest of the Halo Community, playing Halo 4 for a while. Custom Loudouts Alright, so I am personally excited to see what exactly this is. The Custom Loudouts will consist of 4 things; Your Primary and Secondary gun, your grenade type, your armor ability, and your modifications. Also, the Jet Pack, Invisibility, and Hologram are coming back. Now ALOT of people are automatically saying that the game is ruined because of this, but I truly think their Idiots. We haven't even seen how these new features will play out, and their already judging the game itself? Like Come on, its not going to be like COD, 343i is smarter than that. You will most likely only be able to choose regular weapons like the AR, BR, and DMR as your starting guns. And the modifications will probably be things like "2% Jump Increase". So just calm down and wait to actually see the game in action. Why Reds fight Blues 343i said that multiplayer never had a purpose behind it "story-wise". Which makes perfect sense, because it doesn't. All you do in thee past games, is just kill Spartans for no reason. So to fix that, they have made it so you are a Spartan IV, and are playing virtually on the UNSC Infinity, for combat-testing purposes. The multiplayer actually being the virtual playtest.. With this new feature, I think the game will actually feel a lot cooler, and make more sense in itself. Sprint Sprint is now a default ability, and will always be there for your use. I've always wanted this, and felt like Halo: Reach kinda lacked playability, when they made it into an armor ability. Forerunner Vision So alot of people are jumping to conclusion about this "Forerunner Vision" thing, calling it COD-Like. Now Frank O' Connor has stated that this is more of a UAV type thing, and that you will not be able to see enemies across the map with it. Me personally, I think it is going to be like the night-vision option from Halo 3: ODST.
  8. First off, Halo 4 will be like Halo 4. That's why its called Halo in the first place. 343i knows what they're doing and will make whatever decision is for the best. Beside's, half of their team is made up of Ex-Bungie Employees, and even fans. Also, the perks you've heard about, aren't even called perks. Frank O' Connor said that those were just the names reporter's gave it. And yes, armor will affect gameplay, but not the way most of you are thinking. It will most likely be small things like "2% more jump height" and stuff. Lastly, as you all know, Halo 4 will be introducing custom classes/loudouts. No this will not be like COD. 343i even when out of their way, to state that players wouldn't be able to choose power weapons as their starting weapon. But instead, they will most likely be able to choose simple weapons like the Battle Rifle, DMR, Assault Rifle, or magnum as their starting weapon. This has actually long been a fan request since Halo 2. So yeah, stop complaining guys. Halo 4 is in good hands. 343i is taking it into a new direction, and change is good. We need to all stop looking a the past games and move forward.
  9. Her boobs are still big.. I'm Happy . lololol But in all seriousness, she does look alot different. I think I prefer the Halo 3 model more.
  10. Wow, thanks guys! Didn't think alot of people would even read this. But yeah, many people need to stop comparing Halo 4 to COD. When all we have is a little video, that doesn't even explain much.
  11. Ok, so ever since the First Look Trailer, I have been seeing many threads complaining about how Halo 4 will be copying COD. 12. I doubt they would be implying that.. Assassinations are already know for their animations.. They wouldn't revert back.
  13. They've already been confirmed.. So this thread is pointless. js
  14. Hey, HERE'S A SOLUTION! Watch some of 343i interviews.. They already confirmed that there will be a classic playlist for the players who like that old Halo Feel. This argument is stupid. Just get over the fact that the game is evolving, and deal with it. You can most likely customize the gameplay settings, like in past Halo Games.
  15. So it has finally been confirmed that Assassinations, The Covenant and Grifball are coming back. Here is the exact confirmation from Frank O'Connor on the Halo Waypoint Bulletin for this Week: I'll say what I think he means below. 1. Will assassinations return and if yes, will we have more unique weapon moves, for example the Energy Sword in Halo: Reach? –D4RKNESS 360 Short version, yes. Assassinations are altered, but they’re back. The weapon question isn’t something we’re going to answer today. 2. Will there be any Covenant presence in Campaign or Multiplayer? Be it weaponry, equipment, architecture, etc. –Lloyd Jo en es Yes. The Covenant will definitely return, albeit in a completely (graphically, politically and sonically) overhauled form, but they may be the least of your problems. 3. Will Halo 4 include Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords (or adequate replacements) for Grifball? –Kalbelgarion It will be (more or less) possible to play Grifball in Halo 4. 1. I think assasinations are coming back, but differently. For instance, I think we'll be seeing some neck-snaps, knife-stabs, and certain gun-assassinations. 2. I think this means that the Covenant are coming back to try and find forerunner artifacts. Their leaders might be dead, but they might have a new prophet. Anyway, I think when Frank said "but they may be the least of your problems".... He meant that they are aren't going to be the only enemy we face. Could we be facing Forerunner's instead? Most likely.. Maybe even Flood. Does this mean we'll also be seeing Elite's again? Because even though they aren't part of the Covenant anymore.. Our good 'ol friend The Arbiter, might come to help Chief. I mean come on, what would a Halo Game without Dinosau-, I mean Elites, be like. 3. Now after reading this over a few times, I think Frank is trying to say that we 'll be able to play Grifball. But we'll have to make a custom map in forge, along with a game-type for it. And yes, Forge has already been confirmed in Halo 4. Look it up.
  16. They look VERY different, when compared closely. So yeah, trust me. This is the pistol.
  17. 500th COMMENT!! Lol, sorry I just wanted to do that.. But yeah. All I want is stuff that actually makes sense. I want forgeable elephants, environment changing abilities, "glue", "copy and paste", and "undo".
  18. First.. Nice username, it makes me thirsty. lol. And second, what exactly are talking about?
  19. Yes, but maybe 343i did that on purpose, so we don't know right away that it's flood. But instead, we have to think about it. Make it more of a mystery of "what-if".. I mean, if you've ever read the books, then you'd know that the flood mght very well be in Halo 4.
  20. Hey guys, as you can see in the video, there are some moving elements of the new Hud. And I'm pretty sure that the green bar on the top left, gets bigger the more you shoot. It makes sense, because whenever the guy shot it would get full.
  21. Great Idea and photo-shopping skills, but I don't think this is possible. The Xbox 360 is technically outdated, and most games today use almost all the power it can from the 360. Halo: Reach used 85% of as much tech as it could get from the Xbox 360, and nearly overloaded it. Therefore, this would most likely be impossible. But hey, there's always the Xbox 720 though..
