  1. Bungie recently revealed in their Weekly Update a few new details about the VIP rewards for Year One players coming with The Taken King, let's take a look! Destiny is a sci-fi FPS with MMO elements created by Bungie and published by Activision. The game's newest expansion, The Taken King, which is coming this fall, will have a few goodies in store for the loyal players who have stuck around. On Bungie.net, a Weekly Update showcased a video which contained each of the VIP rewards, accessible to fans who have either reached light level 30, or purchased both prior DLCs. You must also own The Taken King by February 2016 to obtain any of the VIP rewards. The Founder's Pack, as it is labelled, will have it's contents easily obtainable through the multitude of vendors in the Tower. The rewards include a tan/white Ghost Shell called the Brave Ghost Shell, a mostly black striped shader called the Old Guard shader, a black Sparrow called the S-34 Ravensteel, and finally a legendary emblem called Be Brave. Another emblem, Moments of Triumph, is also currently obtainable and requires a host of Year One activities to have been completed by the launch of the major expansion. As said above, if you have previously played Destiny and either reached level 30 or bought both DLCs, you will be entitled to the rewards contained in the Founder's Pack once The Taken King drops on September 15th. 3. In one of Destiny's new marketing campaigns, a hidden emblem has been found, and I'm going to show you the steps to get it! Destiny has had a wide array of viral campaigns and marketing ploys, however this interactive campaign launched in partnership with Google is something special. Destiny Planet Viewer, as it is dubbed, can be visited at DestinyPlanetView.com, and it allows people to examine the planets in Destiny in depth. On each planet there are hotspots, and visiting all of them on all planets will unlock something when Destiny launches, an emblem. When you reach all of them (or use the code I'll display here if you want an easier venture) the game will give you a code, 7F9-767-F74, which is the same for everyone so just entering the code on Bungie's site is really all the effort that's needed. The unlocked emblem is dubbed 'The Sign of the Finite' and looks to be a cobalt blue patchwork emblem. View attachment: image.jpg Picture credentials to MoreConsole, check out his video on the subject. What do you think of ad campaigns unlocking items in the games they advertise? Let me know below! Thank you very much for reading.

The only reason there are three of these is because I'm trying to get it as big as possible for my signature.
  6. We're back, and better than ever. Feedback would still be appreciated as I'm still working on this site. After weeks of doing nothing productive at all, staring at my screen or my tv while playing Halo or Minecraft, I decided to give my old site, Armorwatcher.tk, a complete overhaul. This time I wanted to make it as mobile friendly as possible, so I started all the way from scratch again. I spent three days writing the new version of my website, learning bits and pieces of javascript as I went along. I chose javascript so you don't have to load or reload a page every single time, which cuts down on costs if you're roaming and can't get a wifi connection. After the first day the site was basically done, and over the next two days most of the javascript was added. Now I'm just adding more features when I feel like it, such as the desktop mode for those who want to use the new site on a computer too. Anyhow, without further ado, I present to you: Armor Watcher 2.0! Currently v.0.6.1 As of version 0.5.4, pc's are automatically redirected to the desktop version, if you want to view the mobile version you'll have to either spoof the User-Agent string or just, you know, view it on a mobile. Mobile Apps If you want to cut back on costs even more, here's an app that basically has the site embedded in it, so that it'll only use the internet to retrieve the actual images: Download the App here! v.0.5.4 (Not up to date) Android, Windows Phone, WebOS and Symbian versions available. Current Features Halo 4 Armor Viewer (via Gamertag) Halo Reach Armor Viewer (via Gamertag, first one ever) Halo 3 Armor Generator Halo 4 Emblem Viewer (via Gamertag, first one ever) Halo 4 Emblem Generator Halo Reach Emblem Viewer (via Gamertag, first one ever) Halo 3 Emblem Generator Planned Features Halo Reach Emblem Generator Halo 3: ODST Emblem Generator Halo 2 Emblem Generator Maybe stats? 7. So, it's nice that you can edit your emblem in the past few Halo games, but why only primary emblem and background? Wouldn't it be better if we had a more variable, unique emblem? Take, for example, the Black Ops emblem customization (). And don't start arguing because it 'copies' COD... many other games have this feature. Now back to the topic, all the 'pieces' you would use should be unlocked by default, or have some special rare emblems that need a specific task to unlock. If you have something to say or share, post it here please Thank you.

    Emblems

I was wondering if anybody knew if new emblems where ever going to be added, I've been using the "vortex" emblem since halo 2 and I was REALLY disappointed not to find it in halo 4
  9. So I was curious if the old unicorn emblem is in the game at all, I saw the horse part but it didn't seem to have a horn. The only reason I ask is that I have the old Halo 3 Unicorn emblem as a tattoo as does one of my friends and it feels wrong to use anything else.
  10. Hello everyone, RaInCrY22 here, I have just watched the making of halo 4 part 2 and had come up with a brilliant, yet simple trait that 343 Industries may want to add into the game. Okay here's my idea : Scorpion/vehicle Emblem customization. When watching the video I noticed the new scorpion was so detailed that it actually had a skull emblem on the side + I think the UNSC logo. Imagine this.. You enter a scorpion tank, and the emblem changes to your current emblem, which will then display on the outside of the tank. COOL ENOUGH FOR YOU?!? How about.. 10 tanks with the same emblem on the side - awesome enough for theatre mode? Teams would have a whole new detail to enhance video 'uniqueness'. NOW FOR ALL THE FORGERS ! - LIKE MYSELF, I <3 FORGE Now that my brain is bubbling with ideas, I think it would also be cool if they could make a 'plate' - like the objective plate shape you see in forge mode, or even a square one. Imagine if it could display YOUR unique emblem, then PLACE THAT BAD BOY ON YOUR BASE! Don't forget, my main focus is customizing emblems on vehicles. Try to get enough attention to this so that 343 might consider it! Remember, the game is less than 60 days away from being released!
