  1. And I haven't even watched it yet. XD
  2. Planet side is an incredibly good example why it would not work. Planet side has the gimmick of big scale battles sure. It lacks solid gameplay, has a pay to win freemium system, unbalanced classes and an instable territory system. The game lacks a good economy. Most weapons are bought either with real money or hours on hours of grinding.
  3. It would not work because of the game being a war shooter. It's universe could easily sustain a strategy game. But an mmo? Where would it take place, what time span, how would hundreds of players fit in, what classes does it have, how are they different from other classes. What quests should the game have and how do you keep them interesting and varied. Now these are just a few questions. But an mmo is a big game, which takes years to perfect. Now a war game mmo does not work well, most war based games work under the cover of just a shooter or a moba. Making it an mmo should turn Halo into an rpg, gameplay would be more focused on stats not skill, gear not movement, level not experience. There would be nothing left of the Halo gameplay we know and only the lore would be involved to make it look like Halo. Now the RTS let spartans highjack, ODST drop in and marines ride on tank threads and a lot more stuff that would make it Halo. An mmo would just not work.
  4. I think the missions at the end were more itneresting due to the difference in objectives. dismaneling bombs, fighting against the timer, fighting aboard the Infinity. They should indeed make it more varied campaign.
  5. I don't see this happening, why would they do something like that. Why Reach? I could see it happen to the 360 players of Halo 4, but Reach is not even a game from 343i. There is no reason or argument for this to happen.
  6. They will never make Halo 5 for the pc, MS uses it as a selling point for the One.
  7. I think we need to add forge to the mix. I would love to see people to be able to make their own spartan ops missions. give them the tools. To me Spartan Ops is an evolved form of firefight.
  8. I wonder how they could implement that without ruining the "MLG" (hate that term sooo much) feel they want. I can see it happening in TMCC, but not in Halo 5.
  9. It's seems to me that you use it to blow up stuff.
  10. I really really do not hope so, I mean it had flood on it. the Halo fired I just hope it is gone. No one should have acces to such a dangerous weapon.
  11. Yesterday on Comic-Con 2014 the first teaser of Halo: NIghtfall has been released. So here it is the first look of Agent Locke in action! Enjoy!
  12. To all those lost on the flight of MH17 may you find rest in the afterlife and be mourned, but not forgotten.

  13. in 8 minutes the whole Netherlands will be silent for 1 minute toe remember the victims of HM17.

  14. apperantly the flood also breaks the bones of their victims in the process of taking them over, I mean the host feels that. The host feels it slithering under its skin and taking over control, I mean that must feel terrible.
  15. The flood is destructive, as soon as they gain an upperhand may it be to numbers or coördination in battle, it feels if all is lost. An enemy that swells their ranks by every battle won. Now the thing that botters me about them is simple, I can't find an answer in the lore, but it is said that they take over only live beings, A marine was stated that by playing dead they ignored him, while in Halo 3 they take over dead bodies as well. The flood is dangerous to no extent and I could not imagine a worse scenario than being aware of your body's infection and that you can not do anything about it.
  16. Well see, those are really good ideas and it could make spartan ops an amazing mode.
  17. NOW THE HALO MASTERCHIEF COLLECTION FOR XBOX 360, only 6 discs of which 4 are a mandatory install, go back to the age old ritual of installing games with 6 floppy drives!
  18. In my opinion add forge to it, let people make their own missions. I mean in that way SpOps never dies and it can be a vital part of the MP community just a Firefight was.
  19. So since our Halo 5 topic does not include a spartan ops bit yet, I put it here (any mod feel free to move it.) So some people hated Spartan Ops some loved it, I generally enjoyed it and in my opinion it became fun when the maps weren't MP maps but genuine SP and Spartan Ops unique maps. Now I like dislike Firefight, it always had a "This could be story driven why isn't it" - feeling to me. Now in my opinion SpOps is a natural evolution of Firefight. I mean the story turned out to be actually good and it left us with a cliffhanger (Halsey betraying the UNSC) The form it has to evolve into has to be more story driven, a co-op campaign to interest the story lovers and of course more immersion due to ingame cutscenes (love the part where your spartan is captured and of your own breaks free and assasinates the elite.) Also the addition to make missions in forge would be great, it can't lose it's value there and people can craft their own missions and get them rated, which could boost spartan ops popularity. share your thoughts here. 2 rules: 1. Have fun! 2. Stay civil!
  20. Flesh out the story more, make the concept art more distinctive and you dude have a very interesting setup!
  21. I logged in for the first time in weeks on ESO and blam, my guild was full again, the community is still thriving and people say this mmo sucks, hah.
