  1. I like the idea of having to press down on the D-pad to switch to a knife that would be the only means of assassination. I really like the idea of being able to have different knives. But I don't think that the current melee settings or respawn time should be changed as a result of this. Having to switch to your knife to get an Assassination would take more skill than a simple pummel from behind, but the incentive to assassinate over an easy kill could be that you would get points toward a special Assassination commendation, which in turn would unlock new armors for you. I mean, who doesn't like that Venator armor, am I right?

  3. Congratulations on a title well earned TDM! I always enjoy seeing your thoughtful replies to discussions and your positive impact on the Community as a whole. Enjoy your month in Pink! P.S. Your MoM post had better be as lengthy and well written as your votes for the Community Polls, I expect nothing but the best from you
  4. What controller do you use when you play Halo? The one that came with your Xbox? A third party controller? A Special Edition? A modded controller? I got my controller after Halo 4 released. It's a special edition UNSC Infinity Controller: Post your controller, along with when you got it below! Also, if you decide to use a large image to show your controller, be sure to put it in a so the thread can easily be scrolled.
  5. Kind of disappointing that we can't start with PvP in Destiny, but I completely understand, and actually like the idea of getting the chance to build up my defense and attack first, plus it allows you to understand the game a bit before being tossed into the fray. As for 343 hiring someone to create some new gametypes, this excites me. I really hope Halo 5 will have gametype crossed between Invasion and Dominion. Those were great gametypes and if combined properly, they could prove to be very fun. (Plus who doesn't like Elites vs Spartans?) Nice article P34nut
  6. Put me in that No. 11 spot. I think I'll be able to make it. Also I wanna play Fort Lenny as well ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  10. The Xbox One will be available for purchase in China come September of this year! China had banned all foreign consoles in 2000 due to many parents believing that consoles would damage their youths' mental well being. The ban was lifted on January 8 of this year. Microsoft is acting quickly to get the Xbox One on the store shelves in China. Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Marketing stated, "The culture of games and entertainment is rapidly growing in China, with nearly half a billion people playing games – roughly a third of the country’s population and more than the entire population of North America. The gaming industry saw massive growth in the last year - generating more than $13 billion in 2013, an increase of 38% in the last year alone. Gamers in China have shown they love gaming – mostly on PC, mobile and online - and game developers in China have been delivering innovative games for years. Creators and gamers alike have eagerly awaited a new generation of entertainment experiences in China." He also made mention of the joint venture between Microsoft and BesTV, E-home entertainment, a program that will allow dev teams to get their games on the Xbox One in China. I'm sure this comes as great news to our fellow Chinese gamers who may have played Halo: CE on the PC but never had the opportunity to delve further into the franchise. SOURCE:XBOX WIRE
  11. I personally won't be buying a server anytime soon. I mean it's a cool idea and all, but I have no need for it. I'll just stick to the public servers. Good find though P34nut,

  13. I'm not in any way saying the prequels were perfect, but they didn't "suck." They were good movies and fun to watch. Episode V was great, had the Battle of Hoth, the discovery of Darth Vader's true identity, and Luke's journey to be a Jedi. Episode V is considered by most to be the greatest Star Wars film, and while George Lucas did have little to do with the film, he still wrote the movie. Also, the team you keep talking about, they didn't exist. No team decided Han Solo should say "I know." What happened was after shooting the scene many times and not getting the 'feel' that was wanted, Harrison Ford said "I know." Everybody loved it yadayada, no team changed it to that.
  14. George Lucas solely wrote Star Wars. He alone created what is the basis of Star Wars: Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Also contrary to popular belief the prequels were visually stunning for their respective times and to this day hold excellent story arcs.
  15. You realize George Lucas 'made' all 6 of the Star Wars movies right? SPOILERS Some called it a "Pop Culture Revolution"

Be sure to leave your thoughts below along with your vote. Voting Deadline: 5-5-14 @ 6:00 AM EST Thanks for taking part in this week's poll, See ye next week! 19. I'd like to have each playlist in matchmaking to have a few different armors that can be unlocked. For example, Have Recon, Scout, and Venator armor unlocked piece by piece through Team Snipers. Have ODST, Warrior, Engineer, and Operator unlocked piece by piece through Big Team Battle. With each playlist also having unique armor attachments for each set like in Halo: Reach. That being said, I still think that Mark VI armor should be obtained like it was in Halo 4, beating the campaign on Legendary.
