    Bungie is set to update Halo PC and Halo Custom Edition so that it's online multiplayer support will continue following Gamespy's closing. Bungie has announced that developer Roger Wolfsen, along with a small group of fans, have been working to keep Halo PC online following Gamespy's shutdown. "A small group has been quietly preparing for the shutdown of the GameSpy Master Server (which provides the list of Halo servers) and they are finally ready to discuss their work. The group consists of Roger Wolfson aka Sawnose (of Bungie), Btcc22 (of HAC2), Kornman00 (of OpenSauce) and myself, Technut (of PÕQ Clan). As a result of their work, especially Btcc22 and Roger, Bungie will be releasing version 1.0.10 of Halo PC and Halo CE soon, which will include the fix for the Lobby!" The update will ensure steady, reliable servers for Halo PC players to continue playing online multiplayer. Bungie will be releasing this update soon. What do you think of this news?     EA has released a list of 50 games that will soon be losing online support. This following list is of games that will be losing online support in late June due to the recent announcement of GameSpy's closing: As you can see, a very large number of games on many platforms will be losing online support, this is very disheartening news to many gamers. EA has released an official statement along with the announcement of this list saying: "Since GameSpy’s announcement, our teams have been working to evaluate options to keep services up and running. Unfortunately, due to technical challenges and concerns about the player experience, we do not have a solution at this time. Online services for EA games on the GameSpy platform will be closed down at the end of June." You can see from this statement that EA is indeed working hard to keep at least some of these games online. Though some of these games were already set to lose their online support due to Nintendo discontinuing their Wi-Fi connection services. What do you think of this News?     This is great! The long awaited price drop has finally shown itself! I actually looked forward to using the Kinect features with the Xbox One, so I don't know if this bundle is for me. Good on Microsoft for delivering something a ton of gamers have been asking for since the Xbox One was announced at last year's E3. Great find and article Screech

    It's available in it's very own "Dominion Light" playlist starting today until May 26, I highly suggest you try it. It's one of my favorite gametypes.

    I plan on getting Destiny, I just don't know when yet. The consoles are switching to the next generation, and I've yet to buy an Xbox One. I'll most likely get Destiny after I pick up an Xbox One. Destiny is going to be a must-have game, and I don't plan on missing out for too long.

    Here are some facts about one of my favorite Halo 4 weapons, the Splaser! The Spartan Laser takes 2.5 seconds to charge, has a maximum capacity of 4 (unless you have the Ammo perk, then it's 6) and is one of the most powerful weapons in the game having the ability to destroy every vehicle with one direct hit, with the exception of the Scorpion and the Wraith. (Note: The Mantis is only destroyed in one hit if its shields are down) The Splaser in Halo 4 also has a sticker on the front and on its sides that reads, "Big, Scary Laser. Do not look into beam with remaining eye."

    The Dominion playlist (listed now as Dominion Light because of the smaller maps and team sizes) has actually returned to Halo 4 War Games, and is available until May 26.

    I'm taking this with a grain of salt, I feel like the Halo 2 Anniversary rumors are true, due to the enormous amount of speculation behind it. I'm excited about this, but I'm not getting hyped until June gets here. Great article P34nut!

    I'd have to disagree with almost all of these points. Halo 2 was a great game, the game mechanics, storyline, emblems, etc. should all be the same thing they were back in 2004. We don't need an alternate canon or a multiplayer update for a game that was released ten years ago. Rather than getting innovative and rethinking what Halo 2 should've and could've been, 343 industries should focus their attention on the next new installment, Halo 5. Something I do think that would be very interesting, and I didn't think about it until you mentioned it, would be if Halo 2: Anniversary featured Flood Firefight mode. It wouldn't have to be overly complicated, just allow various Flood to attack like they do in campaign, and provide a scoring system. That would be a fun game mode and good way to add something that wouldn't really change the multiplayer or campaign.

    I'll be honest, this game is looking really awesome. A lot of players have been complaining about how repetitive the past Call of Duty installments have been, with this being SledgeHammer's first Call of Duty title, I'm sure we can expect something exciting, new, and innovative.
