I doubt it'll be the Covenant seeing as the Covenant has disbanded and because of ^^^^ but maybe something in the later Halos will relate to them?

If anything I'd say the Flood because where Master Chief is he shouldn't really be encountering the Covenant.

Adam if you notice on the bottom right corner of the gameplay vids there are emblems next to the team scores, each team has a different emblem. Maybe there's some sort of faction thing going on?

For example if you need to be a higher rank to get a piece of armor that allows for +2% extra shield or something, that would make it only available to players who have been playing long enough to get it leaving new players at a distinct disadvantage.

Yes but when Halo was made there was no online multiplayer, that changed over time. -
I see a lot of potential in competitive gameplay in Halo 4, to me it looked like a well upgraded Halo 3.

Debatable Zamio, Halo is mainly about fun I mean it's a video game of course that's why it's made and sold. But there are different ways you can play the video game for example, MLG players play for competition and get fun out of that and they see who is the best. But overall I have to agree with Mystic on this. -
Yea I would want it to be the Halo 3 or Reach pistol, both were close to the CE pistol but more balanced.

Yea I read through everything and heard the transmission it was really weird. If I can download it somehow I might be able to do something with it but I couldn't save it. It was low and resembled Gravemind's voice but it could be distorted.

This guy is really interesting and if that transmission is arriving for us it should be here by tomorrow at 9am eastern time (judging on when he posted), March 5th: when the info from the showcase is supposed to be exposed. This kind of sounds like a terminal to me. According to the website of the info he keeps posting it already is March 5th so he has to be based outside of the U.S.
