Wow, what can I say. It's been a hell of a ride. From november to now, that's 2000 posts. I've been on this site a long time, and I've seen in grow, flourish, and thrive. Like we all say here, this is the friendliest little corner of the internet. I couldn't agree more. All members here, new and old, contribute to this forum in a positive way to keep it getting stronger, and bringing it together as a community even more. This means everyone. From our hardworking administrator, Twam, who brought us all here and keeps this site perfect, to our current moderators, One, Fire, and Vitamin PWN, and also, GermanShepardD, who keep the forums safe and kind, aren't too strict, but enforce the rules nonetheless. Then there is our other staff, the Art department, Communications, Promotions and events, and our news team. Each of the people in these groups are the absolute best in their field, and we could not ask for a better team of staff. Then there are our senior members, who have no real power on their own, but are highly respected and looked up to. They all do their part in keeping this forum intact, and are part of the glue that holds this community together. Then there are our new members, eager to talk to everyone on the site, eager to talk about halo, and eager to find halo 4 news and learn what the game will be like. Without our new members, without any of our members, this site would fall apart. Our member here are outstanding. This site will be here for 20 years, maybe more, and I will be there with you all the entire way. Thank you, for making such an amazing site! Now, the part many of you have wanted to hear. Read confirmed leaks before you post like this. Because the ranking system has already been confirmed. They are mixing reach with halo 3 ranking system wise. They have brought back aspects of each. They have brought back EXP and credits, however credits are not used for ranking up, but rater solely for purchasing armor, equipment, weapons, and other things for your custom loadout. Credits are also now temporarily called spartan points. (placeholder). Also, with halo 3 and reach, they have merged 1-50 with the symbols. Each number 1=50 gets a reach symbol correspondingly. What happens is, each time you rank up, and you rank up with EXP, you obviously go to the next rank. So lets say you are level 1, recruit. You would rank up to level 2, private. And so on to level 50, inheritor. I hope this cleared things up.

Custom challenges are your best friend if you really want credits. Like quantum said, things like lots of headshots within a short amount of time will get you gargantuan amounts of credits.
