  1. I have to agree with you, Reach does have a damn screwed over ban system. But I will explain this section for you. Basically, it does give the option to boot. However, lets say some guy betrays you. You don't get the option to boot. This is normal. However, now that you are very pissed, you go to retaliate and kill him. He then gets the option to boot you. This is because the system only allows a boot for the retaliation. Which in my opinion, is a very stupid system. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about it. All we can hope is that it is fixed for Halo 4.
  2. I have posted a thread on this matter, how the ranking system will work. Unfortunately, no, it is not the halo 2 ranking system. I will explain, as I had in another thread as well: To summarize, they are merging the halo reach ranking system and the halo 3 ranking system. How this works, is that they have brought back a variant of halo reach credits. They are different, however. Credits now are not used for ranking up, but only to purchase armor, weapons, equipment, and other things for your custom loadout. Also, they are no longer called credits. They do not yet have an official name for them, but they are temporarily called "Spartan Points". Now, the halo 3 aspect. They implemented the idea of halo 3's system, by again making it 1-50, with a corresponding symbol from reach, that may be altered. They have also brought back EXP. This is what will rank you up to the next level. EXP is presumably earned how it was in halo 3; winning games. We are unsure how many games you must win for however much EXP, however. Like I had touched on a little in the above text, your rank will appear as a symbol as well as a number. I am not certain, but I think the symbols may be the same as halo reach. So with that, I will use an example. You have just started playing, and you rank up from Recruit, or level one. You would then rank up to Private, Level two. And so on, until you are an Inheritor, Level Fifty. I hope this explanation cleared things up for those that were wondering. Thank you for reading! -Bullet

  4. Hello all members. This, as you may have assumed from the title, is a thread where you can ask any questions you may have on the site, answered by ZB-85 and I. Please keep your questions appropriate and worthwhile. Thank you, and we will assist you in any way we can! But remember, these are all questions about the site and it's functions. Nothing miscellaneous. *Voice questions below*
  5. I highly NOT recommend that, but yes, you could. Could I suggest a brighter color?
  6. Look at the OP, and choose one that you like that isn't taken. I cannot decide for you.
  7. Read my signature... Absolute Dog was possibly the best member on this site, and likely always will be. He was a great friend, and an absolute favorite among us members.
  8. Try not to write one word replies. Back on topic, it would be so, so cool. I assume by replicas you mean guns like airsoft, etc. I would kill to get my hands on a magnum or battle rifle airsoft gun. This is a fantastic idea. One person had the idea of putting an airsoft magnum in the legendary edition. Genius.
  9. Jester, you are a fantastic moderator and an even better friend. You are the one I can trust and talk to about different matters. You are among the few I look up to here. Keep up your amazing work, my friend
  10. Welcome my friend! If you require assistance with anything, feel free to message me, or any others!

  12. Welcome my friend! You'll find that we are all easy to get along with
  13. Two people already have lime. Please read the OP.
  14. *Request thread merge* Anyway, I think Bagels up there pretty much summarized my thoughts. The aesthetics are great, the sound is more refined, the damage is well balanced along with the rate of fire, and the bullet spread looks near perfect. And to add on, I love the scope
  15. Like others said, TU= Title Update, 85% bloom on all weapons, and normal slayer= 100% bloom.
  16. I am already russian xD WYR Be a dedicated member, but spam and spam and spam to get there, or be a normal member but still dedicate lots to the forum?
  17. Ukraine, Russia, and Canada. Nuff said.
  18. Would anyone want to join my team for the swat tourney? One spot open

  19. As far as most are concerned, Prometheans are the main antagonists. However, I do not in the slightest believe they are the only antagonists. Forerunners; yes. That is the other one. If you refer to my locked "Halo 4 Live Action Trailer: Assumptions" thread, you will notice an image of a short, blue, weird looking alien. I then support it with reasons of how it could be forerunner, as it is about a meter tall, and seems to wield forerunner technology. I know I am not alone in this belief, but I do hope it is correct.
  20. Always, always, always play the campaign first. This is a game where this will be especially important, due to the thin tie from campaign to multiplayer. So not only will playing campaign make you understand the concept of the online play, but will also give you background information on the story, teach you to use all of the weapons, and when to use them appropriately, etc. In my opinion, campaign is always the best way to go. You cannot understand a game without it.
  21. That awkward moment when your phone is on your chest, when it starts vibrating and beeping loudly for a text, and you get the **** scared out of you.

I fell asleep with my phone in my hand, I got a text, and flew off the couch.

  22. Archangel, you are a fantastic member here. I looked up to you ever since the date of my arrival. To be honest, without you, I wouldn't be the member I am now. Back a while ago, you offered me great advice on becoming a great member. I took the advice to heart, and not to sound selfish, but look at me now. I am a nice person, a good contributor, and otherwise good member. You have always been great tyrael, and you deserve the best!
  23. This was a very long read, and much too time consuming in my opinion. Please just narrow down your point next time. I think I have my own summarized explanation of "Skill" myself: What is skill? Skill, for example in a game, is the level of achievement you have achieved within it. For a game like halo, it can be these key points: Is your aim straight? Do you have the button layout best suited to you? Do you have a look sensitivity that is best suited to you? Can you use your environment to your advantage? Can you use equipment to their full extent? Do you know which weapon is best suited for any scenario, and how to use it accordingly? These are all major factors in becoming a "skilled" player in this particular game. Skill is also using company and teammates to your advantage. Do you communicate? This is a big responsibility as a team to be skillful and successful. A co-operating team is a skilled team. The team that does this has a great advantage, as they know where their teammates are, where they plan to attack, and who will be rushing what, and also who will be playing offensively or defensively. So all in all, skill is the ability to do something well. If you do something well, that is what you are skilled at.
