  1. So, Nightfall just ended. I don't know what you guys think and I'm curious. Personally, I was actually...underwhelmed. It was the most predictable story to ever carry the name Halo. And it was lacking on the action front too.
  2. Stab Stab Stab

    The King

    From the album: Comics

A placeholder signature until I get around to making one. Part of a comic I did a while ago.
  3. I like how 343 has done so far with it's map packs, but if there's one thing; just one thing i have to say i miss about Halo 3, it's the map Sandbox, and it's not just because sandbox was arguably one of the most versatile forge maps in Halo history, it's that i do really miss the atmosphere of that map. There was something awe-inducing about the red lights contrasting with the blue lights, and about night time in the desert, especially if you could block the guardians and have a vehicle war in the dark dunes. I truly can not think of any other map i'd like to see revived more than sandbox. I dunno if you can hear me 343 but i felt compelled to ask, can you give us another sandbox? I'd hate to see it stay a once in a generation experience. Any fellow players feel the same way?
  4. I'm not sure if this belongs in the campaign forum or not but I'll post it here anyways. WARNING: SPOILERS ARE IN THE NEXT READING, IT'S HIGHLY SUGGESTED YOU BEAT THE GAME BEFORE READING It seems like the master chief didn't act like master chief at all in this campaign. He's usually the soldier that's willing to risk anything, which he did. However, it seems like he was really different in this game. I usually see chief as the prime source of bad assery and mystery. In this game, he almost appeared to be a little bit of a wimp, not completely of course he was still really bad ass but still, you can't say you didnt notice. I understand that they were trying to show his human side, but at the end (SPOILER) he has that sentimental part over cortana. You can't really match the master chief with a sentimental moment. If not almost everything in the game were changed the personality change might have been eased in but it almost seemed like we got a new character and we obviously got new enemies. He dealt with things differently than he normally would and he seemed a little too attached with cortana in the end, he blew off Johnson's death in halo 3 who was a much more enjoyable soldier and character than cortana but she really impacted him. Of course that's my opinion but I still think it was a little out of place. With the fact that more spartans were shown in the game made the build up of chief's character kind of die down. It used to be cool being humanity's last hope and the only spartan around but the fact that more were introduced really ruined that felling for me. Don't get me wrong, I overall really liked the campaign I just didnt feel like it was a appropriate ending to the series I've loved since I was 5. Yes, I did see the cinematic after the credits, but it still didnt tie it in correctly.

  6. I didn't like Reach. The campaign, the characters, the multiplayer, nothing. Armor Lock is overpowered, jet pack lasts too long and goes too high, Hologram just sucks, and the campaign is hard to connect to just like the characters. Opinions?
  7. 343 please stop. The title update sucks. No bloom? Seriously? Bleed throught damage? No sword block? WTF? Why? Why would you screw up the perfect game. Though I agree armor lock needs to be nerfed, everything else sucks. Why would 343 screw up a perfect game? Why would you do that? If any 343 staff is reading this, REMOVE THE TITLE UPDATE. Notice how every title updated gametype subsequently loses the majority of it's population. Why? Because it ruins the game. TU Beta has about 300 players because no one wants to play it. Because it sucks. 343 please stop screwing up Halo. You're making it suck. Keep this topic alive. --Bungie was sooooo much better. If you want to prove me wrong remove the title update. The sword is too overpowered w/out sword block. No bloom means noobs can beat pros every time. Hint: Hold the trigger down for a needle rifle. Instant ownage. Camo is awesome and does not need to be shorted. Only noobs use armor lock. 'nuff said. Bleed through? Really? So the sniper is now a one shot for the body? WHy would you ruin Halo 343? WHY? Maybe they'll see this and realize how much of a screw up they are.
