This map takes place in a vacant structure that has not been used since long before the start of the zombie outbreak. A band of humans have been living in the building since the ground of the city is too dangerous. Little do the survivors know that the zombies have discovered their location and are grouping up to attack. Can you survive the Zombie onslaught? The map itself takes place in a three story building that the humans cannot leave since the gametype Last Stand disables the ability to jump. There are two zombie entrances per floor but once the zombies take over a floor, the staircase from this floor counts as another access point for the flood to attack the humans. Aside from the 3 floors, there is also a roof for the humans to hold out on. Thats about it, enjoy the rest of the thread (: Here is a side view of the building itself (the playspace for the humans) Here is another view of the structure from a different viewpoint. Here is a picture of the second floor (though each floor looks fairly the same since it is a vacant structure) Here is one of the entrances for the zombies on the second floor. This is a walkway to connect to a neighboring building. Here is a view of the third floor. Here is a picture of the roof. A favorite spot for humans, though it can be easily overrun. This is the man cannon that hurls the zombies at the roof. Here is the OTHER man cannon that hurls zombies to the third floor. The flood spawn in almost all the structures that surround the main building. Here is yet another view of the building, and here i would like to point out the railings which provide the zombies with an easy ramp up to the first floor. Here is my favorite part of the map, the window washer! Though people like to point out it doesnt actually wash a window (: Anyways, that just about raps up this map, I hope you all enjoyed (:

As you may have noticed, here you will be able not only to share with the community your own flood maps, but to recieve feedback from other players and take a look at what other people have been working on. It will be a forum where you can learn from others and improve your forging skills. Every month the most impressive maps will be given a showcase on the 343ICommunity Youtube channel, so feel free to upload your best creations! These are the minimum requirements for the map submissions: How to submit a map All posts must include: 1- Name of the map and link to it. 2- Name of the gametype and link to it. 3- Your Gamer tag. 4- Brief description of the map. 5- Recomended player count. 6- At least 2 screenshots of the map OR a video that clearly shows the map. The map has survivors attempting to hold out in various bunkers in the now over run UNSC base. They have access to limited power weapons in order to keep them from camping. Each bunker offers an interesting defensive strategies and has multiple attack paths for the infected. The gametype has quick but fast zombies. Though they are susceptible to headshots there are few precision weapons on the map which makes the gameplay fun and balanced for both teams. The map also supports an infection havens varient.   5. Hi Everyone this is an aesthetic tutorial on making air vehicles. There is 4 different air vehicles that I've made.   12. INHERITOR By Squally DaBeanz Players: 4-8 Gametypes: Slayer, CTF, KotH, Ricochet Inheritor is a medium sized symmetrical map with a two base design. The map was designed with symmetrical objective gametypes in mind (especially Ricochet), and takes subtle design elements from Midship, The Pit, and Gemini. The map is divided into five main areas: The two bases (Red and Blue), the upper platform (Gold), the middle atrium, and the outer balcony (Green). There are also various jumps throughout the map for quicker movement between areas. A majority of the jumps have been optimized for easy use. Each base has a bridge leading into the middle atrium, a tunnel housing the sniper with a lift at the end, and two large ramps leading up to the lift exit. The upper area of each base leads into gold, while the doorway on the other end connects to the outer balcony. The outer balcony curves around the outside of the map, connecting the two bases and the middle atrium and houses a teleporter leading to gold. Gold is a large platform with a ramped structure dividing sightlines between each base landing, and has sightlines over the middle atrium. The middle atrium has two ramps leading to a floating middle platform, and two small balconies connecting to each base looking down on the platform. A sword spawns on the middle platform and a rocket launcher spawns out on green, by the teleporter entrance. Each team gets a sniper off of spawn, with quick access to Gold via the lifts. Enjoy!   13. Hey guys. I'm proud to present to you a competitive map that I made. This map is named Xenos. This map is designed primarily for 2v2 and 1v1 and has a forerunner theme that I think I pulled off pretty well. Xenos is compatible with multiple gametypes. These being Slayer, Extraction, KoTH, and Oddball. Overall, I'm very proud with this map. It has a simple layout and look and it plays very well for 1v1 and 2v2 games.   21. Chronos Chronos is a medium sized symmetrical ring shaped map for 4V4 matches. The idea of this map was to create a somewhat circular map with different "rings" circling an enclosed atrium in the center. The result was a Forerunner themed structure slowly being taken back by nature with various height differences and crossing sightlines through the middle atrium. Slayer and Hill played as well as I had hoped. However, CTF and Swat were surprise hits on this map, offering a lot more depth than I had anticipated with those gametypes. The straight shot through the deadly center made Flag surprisingly fun, forcing players to skirt around the edges with the flag. And the varied sightlines through the center and segmentation of the map makes for some great Swat matches. Any and all feedback is appreciated!

  23. How this track came about? The idea for this map was to make a race map that separates the good drivers from the bad ones whilst still being relatively easy to complete. I didn’t want to make it a roller-coaster map because they are everywhere and I wanted my map to be different. The track features a variety of different sections/challenges such as huge ramps, tight turns, invisible tracks, a mine field, and even a mini forest. What was the hardest part? Definitely the teleports. It all started during the second testing of the map when, for some annoying reason (lag), people kept getting thrown out of teleports and weird angles. This meant they’d either crash and lose their position, or, even worse, fall off the track and die. The solution was simple in my mind, remove some teleports, reduce the lag and things will be fine. Nope. That just meant it happened less often. I had no idea how I was going to solve this problem, it was either remove all of the teleports and change the whole layout of the track, or, give up and start over. In the end I found the solution while watching one of the replays, and it was annoyingly simple! Basically all I had to do was make sure that the player was facing the same direction (i.e. north) coming out of the teleport as they were going in to it. The lag just meant that the player didn’t change direction when going through the teleport.   24. Hey guys. I'm proud to show you my latest map in Halo 4. I call it Novus. Latin for new. I named it that mainly because I wanted to show off the little knowledge I have of the Latin language and because this map is a new start for me. A map I built without basing it off of anything other than my own ideas. First time I've done that. And I'd say it worked out pretty well.
