  1. Challenge your friends to a 1v1 Beer Pong Match. In this match up, we have 10 super sized party cups per side, and your unique throwing skills. Here is my first Halo minigame, Beer Pong. When I heard the Firefight update had party cups in forge, I set my mind to creating this map. Although it's a simple idea, the execution was not as easy as it first sounded. First off I'd like to thank everyone who stopped by to check out my map, and give it a bookmark, or even a shout. This took loads of time actually, and I'm satisfied with how it turned out. The way Halo 5 Beer Pong works is like normal Beer Pong, the only twist is that you get to take your partners cups away when you score on one of them. You use a color-coded identification system to know which cups your taking away. This is the only way I found the game mode would work. And yes, I tried to script removable goal pads and cups. -Yoink- it, it's fun to take away your friends cups. Don't forget to download my 'Beer Pong' custom Game Mode as well or you're going to have a bad time. Thanks for reading and see ya guys next time. 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GAdkv48GdY This military base is a safe hold and training ground for Spartans. This map is located on a distant arctic planet with perilous drop offs that only the most daring Spartans dare to reside here. There is two bases and towers wrapping around a yard full of bunkers. The rockets in the center are easily combated with alternating damage boost and oversheilds in opposite towers. Master Chief had a short stay on his way to Earth after destroying the first Halo ring. He left a present in the wings of the map for future Spartans, but the recipients must be frugal as there is only one clip left. Training on this map is set up for both Slayer and Capture the Flag. It will hold between 2-8 players, but is best for 2v2. Are you up for the challenge? Can you stay aware of your surroundings? Or, will you succumb to the perils of The Ice Pick... Players: 2-8 (ideal for 2v2 and 3v3) Gametypes: Slayer and CTF Weapons: Rocket Launcher, DMR Battle Rifle, SMG, H1 Pistol, Storm Rifle, Suppressor Grenades: Plasma, frag, Splinter Power ups: Overshield, Damage boost (They spawn on opposite towers a minute apart. Overshield spawns first on the red tower.) Canvas: Glacier I need to edit the post so the images show up. How do I do that?
  3. Fight in an elimination style 1v1 game against your fellow peers! The game will go down like a normal tournament, brackets, winners, losers, laughs, cries, etc. You will be fighting for bragging rights and the chance to call yourself a powerhouse in the world of Halo. If you wish to signup for the next series on the loser bracket, just go here: http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/41042-yoshi-and-fishys-tourney/?p=369701 The match will be held on a map named Scirmmage, created by Sikslik7 and edited by me. Which everyone can see here: Everyone will start with a BR and 1x Frag. This is to ensure no frag spam, and the BR is to be used efficiently for a fast smooth game. Contestants will play 3 rounds, giving it a fair match. Best 2 out of 3. Each round will consist of 15 kills on a 6 minute timer. If you do not reach the target score, the win will be counted towards the player with the most score. At the end of the match the contestants will go into theater and save that game and load it to their fileshare to be watched by Yoshi1776 and I to make sure that the person claiming to be winner is actually winner or vice versa. Both players must do as such. *If no clip is given after the match the match will not count. *Both parties must agree on a day and time to do their match. *You have four days to complete your next match unless otherwise cleared by Yoshi1176 or myself. *Players who do not show up in the scheduled time will be put down as DNF. *DNF’s will be placed in the loser's bracket. *If you cannot make it, you both need to send a PM to Yoshi1176 and I claiming that you can’t do it. We will then let you decide if one of you (or both) want to be put down as DNF or reschedule a further date. Now, remember. This will be played on Halo: MCC The map and gametype is in my fileshare. To do this you will need to: Launch Halo: The Master Chief Collection > Go to the Main Menu Screen > Press ‘X’ to open the roster > Press ‘A’ on [Your Gamertag] > Press ‘A’ on Find Player > Enter the Gamertag “L Fishy L” > Go to Map Variants > Select “Scrimmage” > Press ‘B’ > Go to Game Types > Select “1v1” After that, you are good to go. Oh, and winner... Remember your reward is a copy of Halo 5: Guardians. If you do not wish to have it, let us know. We will have it put in the Christmas tree. Contestants. Your first match begins on July 18th 2015. You have until July 21st to complete this. Good luck. Round 1: (Note: All of these were placed and decided by RNG) Azaxx vs Tony Stark (Substituted by Hayley Kenway) Sikslik7 vs GermanShepherdD PlasmaCasterNotARealBow vs Self Destruct Drizzy_Dan vs ShadowFiend216
  4. iTaz Gaming has a new leader and would like to recruit more members for Halo and even Call of Duty. iTaz Gaming is an eSports gaming clan where we do Clan Battles with other clans, 1v1 with current clan members to see who's best and Tournaments which feature at least 4 other clans. Do I have what it takes? Almost anyone can join iTaz Gaming, as long as you are at least 13 years old (no squeaks) and have an Xbox One with Halo: MCC or Halo 5. What do I do? Just simply go to http://itazgaming.weebly.comand apply. If you get in, you will be offered to do a 1v1 with iTaz Hybrid. This will test out your skill and see which division of the clan you will be put in. More information at http://itazgaming.weebly.com YouTube: http://YouTube.com/itazpredator

  6. Map Name: Furnace GT: n0mnom321 Link to file: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/fileshare/details/3f142ba3-eb65-41c6-9e57-8f38c0d9d072 Supports: Extraction, KotH, Oddball, Slayer, CTF Best played with: 1v1 or 2v2 Slayer Hey everyone! this is my newest map, furnace. Furnace is a small map for 2-4 players and is based around the theme of a smelting factory. The map is set on the erosion canvas and is inspired off of adrift. The aesthetic details feature aesthetic furnaces, lava pits (or molten metal pits) and many pipes that really makes it feel like a place, not just a map. The outer paths of the map are connected in a sort of C-shaped design, that I intended to give a circular flow to the map (although it has only been tested once, so I am not certain that it works lol) and a central area where there is a main power position and a power weapon (sticky detonator); unlike my previous maps, I had a general Idea of what the map was going to be like before making it so I don't think that there is any lazy cover. The map is still in very early stages of testing, and I have yet to remove some pieces I think make the bottom of the map and the blue base cluttered, but other than that, I would appreciate any and all feedback and hope that you like the map. Cheers and a belated happy new year! Weapons: Sticky Detonator(drop) Designated Marksman Rifle Battle Rifle Magnum Assault rifle Auto-sentry(drop) Fragmentation Grenades PIctures: The corner 2/2 in the picture above is where the sticky detonator spawns. The Y, cross at the back of the picture leads into the tunnel connecting red/blue. And the overview picture: CLARIFICATION: the battle rifle is on the stairs of the 2 storey tower, and the DMR is next to the lava pit near the jump down, at the bottom of the map. the magnum is right next to the red spawn (I think it is ok because it's just a magnum, but Please tell me if I'm wrong). The assault rifle is at the top tunnel that is connecting red and blue base. the sticky detonator is at the top of the tower, a very exposed position. Not all of the pictures are up on my 'recent screenshots'? I will post more pictures once they are on the 'recent screenshots' list on halo waypoint.
  7. It was said that the Great Anvils held a lot of secrets. I do believe we stumbled upon one. After reporting the discovery to HQ, Commander Mirage received orders to set up a base by the doors. This was a mistake. Now, I'm in charge and she is nowhere to be found. _______________________________________________________________ I haven't made a 1v1 map in a while. Figured it's time for another. That's how Mirage came to life. Mirage is asymmetric and is built on the lovely Forge Island. Mirage boasts great aesthetics which I'm very proud of. Her smooth curves and tasteful textures make her a pleasant sight to the eyes. You can feel like you're in actual place instead of just some random arena. I really tried to make her believable. I do hope I succeeded. I also thought about where I was going to build her and I think I hit the sweet spot. The windows are placed in a way where they actually show Forge Island's great scenery instead of an empty grassland. I also placed the map in an area where the sun hits it just right. Power weapons/powerups Sniper Rifle - 0 spare clips - 90s respawn Speed Boost - 120s respawn But enough about aesthetics. Let's talk gameplay. The map is very fast paced. Due to it's size, there are few moments where players spend a lot of time just trying to find each other. The map also blends long and short sightlines together very nicely. In the outskirts of the map, players are given long sightlines while the building in the middle provides plenty of CQC action. Mirage seems like it's gameplay would be donut-ish but this isn't the case. Fights happen everywhere and not just in the outskirts. This is because of the way the middle building is merged with the edges. It's a very quick way to get from one side of the map to the other and is also fairly protected. Players spawn with their own advantages at the start of a game. Starting Blue team spawns closer to the Speed Boost while starting Red team spawns closer to the sniper. This trade off works for the map because the person with Speed Boost is given enough movement options which will allow him to get closer to the sniper safely and engage in a more favorable situation. Not to mention he's harder to hit because of Speed Boost. As for the guy with the sniper, he is given plenty of long sightlines to work with. Dat teleporter doe. This teleporter design was drawn from Dax's Ciela The teleporter is quite useful in this map. It can be used as a means to escape. However, a smart player would be able to cut off the player escaping when he comes out of the receiver. Dem curves Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-5k3xQO31I

I'm back again to present my brand new 2v2 map, Bloodstone. Yes, I chose an English name this time. It is asymmetric, built on the sexy Ravine canvas, and has a lot of good, long sightlines. The map also has a lot of skill jumps to help players traverse areas faster. Bloodstone is inspired by Edifice and Angst. Two of my favorite forge maps in Halo 4. There are a total of 5 atriums. The middle, Blue, Red, Gold, and Cyan. A sniper rifle spawns in the middle on top of a rock. The middle rock is a very important part of the map as it connects a lot of the jumps through the middle atrium and blocks the sightlines quite well at the bottom. The idea behind Bloodstone is to allow players to travel the map faster through jumping which is why this map has so many trick jumps. Some of these jumps are hard to make but can be very beneficial if executed properly. The weapons in the map are the Sniper Rifle and the Sticky Detonator. The sniper is extremely powerful in the map because of the long sightlines. It has 1 spare clip and respawns every 120 seconds. It spawns on top of the middle rock. The sticky detonator, on the other hand, spawns at Gold 2 minutes into the game. I gave it 1 spare clip because it's not as powerful as the sniper in the map but can still be deadly if in the right hands. Spread the meta
  12. Hello gentlemen. I'm happy to present my first competitive map on Ravine. I call it Praelium. This map is asymmetric and can play 2v2 or lower. Being room-based, Praelium has 4 main rooms. These would be Red, Blue, Gold, and Green. Encounters happen everywhere in the map but most of the interesting and fun firefights happen between top Red and top Blue. The middle bridge is the most powerful position in the map. But it is also the most open. So be wary when walking across the bridge. Weapons - Railgun (x1) - Sniper Rifle (x1) - Light Rifle (x1) - Pulse Grenade (x2) - Frag Grenade (x2) - Assault Rifle (x1) - DMR (x1) - Thruster Pack *Only the Railgun spawns at the start of a match. The rest of the weapons spawn later on. 13. Hey guys. I'm proud to present to you a competitive map that I made. This map is named Xenos. This map is designed primarily for 2v2 and 1v1 and has a forerunner theme that I think I pulled off pretty well. Xenos is compatible with multiple gametypes. These being Slayer, Extraction, KoTH, and Oddball. Overall, I'm very proud with this map. It has a simple layout and look and it plays very well for 1v1 and 2v2 games. Weapons - Railgun (x1) - Sniper Rifle (x1) - Assault Rifle (x1) - Light Rifle (x1) - DMR (x1) - Pulse Grenade (x2) *Only the Railgun and Pulse Grenades spawn at the start of a match. The map is called 1v1 Paradise and is forged on Vertigo. I wanted to make something special, so i came up with a good looking map on a non-forge map. It looks pretty small, and it is, but it plays extremely well, and I'm not just saying that. I have playtestet a lot, both 1v1's and 3 players FFA. The map plays best on 1v1. You can play 3FFA, but it is recommended to play for fun only since it is a pure mess! You can try to play with more players, but I can imagine that it wont play well. Map game experience: The map plays well for beeing so small. It has a lot of verticality, jumps, and power positions. Every two minutes a Storm Rifle spawns, which is effective in close combats. There are many encounters, so you do fight a lot. That beeing said map movement and map knowlegde is still important. I do recommend to play 1v1 br's so that the storm rifle becomes more important. In case you dont have that gametype you can download it above. If you want you can still play with own loadouts/ gametypes, but it doesnt get that competitive. I hope you download and enjoy the map ^^

There are two floors, with each having distinct bonuses to control. Team work is key, and control of the top does not give an unfair advantage. The bottom consists of many broken sightlines, and is a great way to transverse the map and get around your opponent, but is also a very playable section, and many conflicts erupt there. The top is more open, and more combat flows here. there is always a way to flank an opponent, but running is never a good option. The sniper spawns in the middle of the map, on a jump from the bottom to the top. Teams rush here at the beginning of each match to gain an early advantage. On the sides of the map are pulse grenade spawns, which are very effective at redirecting map flow temporarily and are very effective at countering and flushing out the sniper. Gametypes: Slayer Suggestions: Play with 110% jump height, all other options normal Ordinance, if any, should reflect 1v1 or 2v2 games Play Green v Gold for different starting spawn Weapons on Map: Initial Ordinance: Sniper (1): respawns every 120 seconds Pulse grenades x2 (2): respawns every 60 seconds Other weapons: BR -1 extra clip (2): respawns every 45 seconds carbine - 1 extra clip (2): respawns every 45 seconds DMR - 1 extra clip (2): respawns every 50 seconds Pictures: I apologize for the picture quality, Halo Waypoint is not allowing me to download new pictures, so I used an old capture card of mine. Changes: - Instead of 1x1 blocks in the middle, I put huge pillars for better cover. - I replaced most wall coliseums with window coliseums to let much more light in. - Instead of Ordnance drops, I put Classic weapon spawns since the map isn't even that big. - Colored some pieces for more variation. - Added more aesthetic vehicles that can be viewed by looking out of certain windows. - The initial spawn area for both teams is no longer unnecessarily big. I also added more cover in this part of the map. In this map, there are two bases. The sides of the map are also different from one another. One has a curved room which is where the Sticky Detonator spawns. And the other side is where the Overshield spawns. There is also a middle bridge that has the Railgun spawn. Weapon/Powerup List: - 2x Sniper Rifle - 1x Railgun - 1x Sticky Detonator - 1x Overshield - 2x DMR - 2x Battle Rifle - 8x Frag Grenade - 4x Plasma Grenade SCREENSHOTS That's pretty much it. I hope you like it. Feedback is always appreciated.

Aesthetically pleasing set pieces and competitive fundamentals are unified to form an overall enjoyable map. This project started as a sketch on notepad paper and has since evolved into what you now see. Through multiple rebuilds and refinement, it has came into it's own as a successful smaller map. Different from most of my other creations, Dusk is highly centered around structure. If my other maps gained any inspiration from Lockout, this one gained it from Ivory Tower. All tiers are accessible through various routes with both basic paths and trick jumps available. Like most competitive maps, the more you put into it the more you'll get out of it. There is much trickery to be had, yet enough open space and vivid lines of sight to end it with precision.

Map name: Lockout Gamertag: YamaMX Gametypes: Slayer, AGL, CTF, Oddball, KOTH, Extraction File: http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/filebrowser/details/23f275a9-02d7-4f21-8763-02e475a15e07 Lockout is a 1:1 replica of the Halo 2 map co-forged by veteran forger Vincent Torre (MickRaider) and myself, YamaMX. Back in January I forged the map while using Halo 2 PC as a guide, block for block. Like many, I have a passion for this map as it housed many great competitive outings and memories. Having presented the original version, it received many positive reviews and a ton of useful feedback. This is where I met MickRaider, who could sense my passion for perfection and my willingness to listen, learn and execute. Together we bounced the map up and back, each of us taking care of large chunks at a time. By the end of it all, the map underwent ten major version increments before becoming final. The goal of this remake was to faithfully reproduce Lockout; line of sight for line of sight, trick jump for trick jump without sacrificing visual fidelity in any way. While some remakes tend to re-imagine the map in order for it to work with Halo 4 settings and bigger party sizes, we wanted a true 1:1 experience that both works well for Halo 4 and stays absolutely true to the original. While the trick jumps and such were made to work with Halo 4's engine seamlessly, no liberties were taken in regards to map size. Instead we measured for days on end to re-create the scale of the original, right down to the amount of seconds it takes to fall to your death. While I could write a change log, it would likely reach a character limit... thrice. I can honestly say the map was rebuilt from the ground up, everything has been amended or changed for the better in some way, shape or form. Just some small examples in comparison to the original would be the addition of the cave itself, missing entirely from the beta build. The entire height of the map has been adjusted. Bridges that most fail to realize have slight inclines have been inclined accordingly. Every Halo 2 spawn has been faithfully reproduced. Every room has been redone from the ground up, literally. Every trick jump is included and act nearly the same way they do in Halo 2. Barrel balance. Railings flipped. Tweaks to glass. Walls shortened or extended. Line of sights amended. The inclusion of CTF, Oddball and King of the Hill with the exact hill properties right down to length, width and height. The Halo 4 exclusive addition of Extraction. Optimization of the lighting budget. I could go on for hours, literally. It is an entirely new map in comparison to the original, shaped by over one hundred hours of work and countless play tests through out. The end result is Lockout, as you remember it. The map can be found in my file share or by following the provided link. Blockout, a version tweaked for Halo 4's Infinity Slayer with Ordnance Drops and such will be available shortly via MickRaider.
  24. Name: Collection Gamertag: YamaMX Gametypes: Slayer (2v2, 1v1, x4 FFA), CTF Collection is a different type of challenge than my other forge works in that I'm working around pre-determined areas to allow them to work outside of their intended element. The result is a small competitive map that has official visual standards not possible within the forge templates, yet forge is put to work in order to allow the intended competitive play. The other challenge in doing so comes from the lack of any forge pieces to work with and forcing these substitutes to work in a manner not to be detrimental to visual fidelity. Please watch the video for a full explanation and walk around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2JoVbnifF4 Update: An updated version is available with a few small tweaks and a second teleporter in glass hallway (every gametype except CTF). This allows greater movement around the map without the ability to camp an exit.
  25. Name: Serenity Gamertag: YamaMX Gametypes: Slayer (1v1, 2v2, x4 FFA) Please watch the video in full to understand the mindset behind the map and it's many intricacies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whnR7fBEnjg Serenity was originally designed due to the lack of smaller maps featured in Halo Reach and the inability to play proper and exciting 1v1 matches. Fast forward to Halo 4 and while this problem isn't quite as prevalent, it is apparent. The main objective of Serenity is fast paced smaller matches that allow the player to both out think the competition as well as out shoot. The result is a map that has many ways about going into and out of various areas, most of which require precision jumps that become second nature. The thrust ability in Halo 4 allows players to manipulate the pre-existing lift in ways not possible in Reach. This allows better movement around the map and the outplaying of your opponent. Through literal years of play testing now (counting Reach), the map has proved it's place in my group as a standard for 1v1 sets and the like. Areas can be held down like any good map, though there is not one spot a player can easily hold due to area advantage. What makes this map a joy to play for any competitive player is that it aids a high level mindset, it doesn't diminish it. Like any competitive map, absolute flow is achieved by practicing and understanding the maps intricacies, only then will it be fully understood and appreciated.
