As a halo veteran halo 4 plays competitively just as well as halo 2 did. Forge is splendid and the only problems with customs is the lack of customization. The majority of kids criticizing halo 4 are little babies going with the bandwagon as some sort of way to get recognition of something. The population doesnt speak for anything mainly because it is impacted by multiple other factors besidesthe games quality. no the game wasnt incomplete when it first came out! ... it had a nice playlist that had no problems so everyone out there who sais it wasnt finished is stupid. The campaign was much harder than and more refreshing than the previous halos especially 3 at the price of a slightly shorter campaign if even that. i personally believe people originally ranted on the game because it was made by 343 instead of bungie. yes 343 did make a spectacular game and have promotion skills but that isnt buffed by the stature of bungies 10 year old fan base. this led microsoft to daddy 343 to support the game eventually leading to a slightly rushed release of halo 4 with like 5 bugs in total and unnoticeable unbalanced weapons(people exaggerate weapon balance when raging over losing a gunfight because they suck or lag.) people say that halo 4 black screens too much but so did halo 3 and reach to worse extent. When we get those dedicated servers in halo "5" and 60 fps that will be no problem.

I can see what you are talking about and that if i was in chiefs situation i wouldnt bother with saving cortana unless it worked directly with stopping the forunners. honestly i dont have any feelings for an ai no matter how realistic they seem. the owl was likely remnants of mendicant biases complete form or a seeker war sphinx or something. at first i thought it was a futuristic legends of the gaurdians lol! although yur opinions may be in tune with other halo players my main reason with playing halo is for forge, mini games, and the competitive while a good story is just half the glaze on the doughnut!

Feel free to post any unique ideas that would be cool to be welcomed to the halo franchise! or something cool in general! My ideas: -A support upgrade that adds an extra ability to the pulse grenade. it pulls in people from a specific radius to effectively slow them down and pull them out of possible camping spots. -armor ability cycling, for recon settings 343 could switch grenade cycling to "x" and AA cycling to top of d-pad. you could then switch armor abilities to add more dynamics to some gameplay.also an ability to set armor ability versatility(such as thruster pach is 60% more powerful type of thing) -option to remove sprinting and a completely classic halo playlist -a covenant mech such as a drive-able locust from halo wars that can climb on walls or more vertical terrain and shoots a powerful focus rifle beam from its rotatable head!(must have) -weather options in forging, more customization friendly gametypes(hummhumm flood mode) and trait zones -more forge support- greater focus on forgers and weekly or regular competitions for exclusive prizes. -precision theater mode and multiplayer theater so you can have fun with yur friends and smoothly track a sniper bullet into someones head(great for machinimas!!!) -deeper and more depressing halo music like forgotten from halo 3... fingers crossed -halo wars 2 game that is directly linked to the halo game after buy and download. -FLOOD REAKINGGGGGG FIREFIGHT!!!!!! no more spartan ops!!!! -an unlockable halo timeline like in halo wars... matchmaking competitive gaming prizes such as reaching a high skill rank in a certain playlist to get badass armor... -a new grenade that is completely black and expands like pulse grenade but rolls and does less damage, also an effective way to hide! when it comes in contact with a pulse grenade they both explode for a good amount of damage.(half strength of fusion coil!!!) -the ability for spartans(you) to start a big team slayer game by falling from the sky in an ordnance pod odst style and possibly have that work in firefight too!!! -an auto-sentry AA that goes to the position you point at and shoots and stays in place if u hold a certain button while releasing it. -return of brutes and brute vehicles! they didnt all die on sanghelios hopefully the arbiter saved the!!!! yay -a grand forging competition where the top three winners get to have there maps remade as actual legit maps and sold as 400 ms point dlc. -return of unsc air vehicles -longer campaign Any more ideas?

all i want are more forge capabilities and a broader range of game-type customization. i want a return of something around the lines of a mini-game option in matchmaking playlist. as i recall they had something like that in halo 3... other than that i have never had problems with matchmaking maybe because im better than 99% of the people on it just dont spam cod halo clones!

Considering that the new teaser at e3 was truely part of the halo 5 plot then i would say that im going with more consoles and halo5followers opinions o n its plot. it seems to me that everyone here was way off on what 343 actually doing for the next game.

This is a fake. It has been known for almost a week now that this was picture made by a blogger at reddit.com. He admitted it himself. It is now going around that this console may be called xbox fusion. we'll just have to wait and see on th 22nd when its announced.

It funny because i do that with the magnum to out-shoot br users. i guess you could say that both weapons are a little over-powered though i think the boltshot is easier to use than the magnum

Yes magnum is the best side-arm but it is the hardest to use. People generally see the boltshot as a cheap kill so they often use it.

I can't wait till' all the consoles convert to cloud gaming! this is just another example of corporate greed. I was hoping that it was just going to be the PS4 that banned used games.

The past generations of both the humans and the Forunners had underestimated the flood until they began to be overwhelmed. In the Halo 1 -3 they overwhelmed the flood before they were able to overwhelm them; which hasn't been done before within this galaxy. Since this happened, we have almost secured the eventual defeat of the flood by humanity. - The thing that the ancient humans used to defeat the flood were flood infected humans(comprising 1/3rd of the human population) with changed DNA structures. The structure changed caused the flood infected humans to fight other flood, causing mass corruption of the flood infestation. - It is a fact that the flood was not defeated by doing this. The flood backed off because the humans had passed the test to attain the mantle.

The process of getting Cortana back is controversial but I believe she still has a beneficial effect to the coarse of the game even if she is dead or not. You will remember her and feel sad in the process but be excited if she comes back. It all leads down to if Cortana being gone has more of an emotional impact(either good or bad) gone or coming back. To be honest, i think there would be more of an impact if she stays gone for a while and the slightly hint at her absence. I would like M.C. to have an emotional breakdown in the form of rage, though this would be hard to accomplish because M.C. is an introverted silent type that would be changed from a static character to a dynamic character so rapidly that a flaw would create a detrimental impact on his overall character; making him either corny or exaggerated. To be honest. i don't like your idea about the M.C. becoming part Forunner and controlling the Prometheans. This idea seems too common in poor plot setups, making the main character seem invulnerable and less relatable to the character. This gives you less emotion toward him and ruining him completely. Finally, making giant statues of M.C. across the universe makes me think he is a tyrant and not a noble war hero.

So your argument is that the Xbox is cheaper than the pc's and laptops but reduces reliability, efficiency, and other forms of compatibility. The pc is more advanced than the xbox in every way but is more expensive. I will say that it is more likely that computer gamers spend much money yearly on their computers than console gamers. So, if you have the money buy the pc but if you don't it is fine to buy a console. Xbox sales are led by only the games while the pc sales are led by multiple factors such as internet, programs, and games. The console must increase the sale of their games no matter what it takes.It comes down to if the reduce in Xbox sales is less, equivalent, or more than the pc's halo sales. If the reduce in xbox sales is not recovered through the sales of the halo for pc then there is no use to convert it to the pc. Also, as another factor, what would be the cost of putting halo on multiple platforms and would it amount to any significant sum?

Yes, team booting should be turned on which it seems it isn't. Also, with your social and ranked playlist suggestion that you guys made, I would like like a social and ranked loadout with the ranked load-out restricted to what weapons are allowed in the ranked playlist. Ranked loud-outs should ban boltshots/ all aa abilities except thruster, jetpack, hardlight shield, and regeneration field/ and special upgrades and tactical packages/ possibly automatic weapons removed.

Wouldn't Microsoft lose money by putting halo on a PC platform? Considering that people buy the Xbox 360 just to play halo and almost everyone already have a PC of some sort, wouldn't that cause reduced sales in the Xbox 360 and the up-coming Xbox 720 or Durango? Since, profit would be lost in console sales and not much would be gained in PC sales from changing Halo to PC. People would use the PC instead of buying a whole new console and accessories that go with it. Also, by putting Halo on PC you run a higher risk of pirated versions of the games. Remember that 90% of all PC games in existence have been pirated. You don't know for sure if Halo would pick any revenue, even being the famed AAA game it is. Besides, you could just use an emulator to convert your Xbox or Xbox 360 game to the PC.

This sounds like star wars to be honest, though it is part of forunner technology. This is an interesting idea but i speculate that people would use this on arena style maps to push people off the map. that would probably cause A LOT of problems considering how easy it would be to get a kill on someone near the edge of a map. This should only be able to work if the opponent is CLOSE to you and would be a great way to counteract energy sword or BOLTSHOT users. As far as pushing grenades, crates, and other miscellaneous objects sounds like a hard armor option to program. that would create a lot of error for bugs and possible glitches. this should only effect enemy players and possibly teamates because it would work with reticle placement. This should come into action .25 seconds after pushing the trigger to use the ability and the enemy being pushed should temporarily lose their ability to shoot and melee.

I agree that halo 3 had the better maps but i feel like halo 4 is much better than reach and has more replay-ability. Halo 4 seems to me like it was well worth the money and enjoyment i have had playing it.
