    I literally do this all the time, been doing it for years. i remember just blowing on the game CARTRIDGE to get it to work.

    You must be living under a couch. Bungie had a contract, it expired. They would have quit making Halo after Halo 3, but Microsoft demanded 3 more Halo games, THUS ODST, Wars, and Reach came out. Some of Bungie went to 343i.
