This is my remake of the track from Mario Kart 64. It is compatible with the RACETRACKS gametype which can be found on my file share. There is a system of teleporters that acts as a substitute for checkpoints. I have a variant of this track labeled as "Bowsers Castle - Doubles"; it should be used with RACETRACKS - DOUBLES. There is a good video of 14 people playing this variant on my file share that you could use. I also have Banshee Boardwalk, Wario Stadium, and Sherbet Land. Supports up to 16 players.

This is a fantastic map. I have played it several times, it is great for regular racing, and for battle tracks. it gets the ORL seal of approval.

turbtastic, i've got to say, awesome job with not only this but all of your MK64 remakes! I have been creating a few race maps lately and have incorporated a lot of the same ideas (such as boosting areas and teleporter "checkpoints") and decided to check out your map. my friends and i played this and your other MK64 maps for hours and we all agree....FANTASTIC!

Ok guys, we went and tested this out along with his other Mariokart64 remakes(theres a few of them). Some of them will be featured during Custom Game Night on Fridays Although they brought back good memories, the difficulty level wasn't quit there on some so we are going to do them as battletracks with railguns and sticky detonators. I hope this is ok with you TurbTastistic.

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed them. Any chance that they will be featured on the YouTube channel? Don't worry I agree they are not the most challenging for solo racing. When you say you will do them as battletracks do you mean that you will use my doubles game type and map variant? Where can I find info about your custom game nights? I'll be updating my Sherbet Land - Doubles version tonight so wait on downloading that one for now (spawning issue).

Anyone have ideas on how to improve the doubles versions? The only thing I don't really like is how drivers need to know whether to go left or right when the starting gate goes down, but I can't think of a reasonable solution.

TurbTastic add me "Jernst Reborn" i can discuss with you some ideas for your doubles maps, as i am currently working on a few doubles maps myself. I feel like we could really incorporate some of these ideas in these and in other tracks. I will be on from about 5:30-9 EST tonight after work.

Thanks for the features and kind words. Be sure to check out my other remakes and my Doubles variant. Rainbow Road will be ready in the next couple weeks, I'll post it when they add file share access via waypoint.

@treez0

What's the name of your channel? I'm on an iPad and am not sure how to get a direct link.
