The map is inspired by the Mount Doom mission from Lord of the Rings: Conquest, of course with more than a few differences to help improve the map's flow to better fit Halo 4's pace. Set in Orbit, the map would have a heavy Human/Promethean theme being a human installation designed around this Forerunner Foundry which is still running after this entire time. The point of the map is to add a new flavor to Halo 4 Multiplayer it doesn't have just yet.

I've studied the layout extensively and I believe I can remake it... in theory. I don't have Halo 4 right now so I can't experiment really. Here's a

with some gameplay on this mission. The question I'm asking you guys, is can it be done?

Well I think it's a great idea. is it just going to be a slayer map? Or are you thinking of making it playable with more gametypes?

I think the more gametypes viable on this map, the better. Objective-based gametypes could be just as awesome as Slayer, if not more seeing how I could focus more on the map's locals and features than. Yeah, that could work.

So I got Halo 4 but I've run into a problem in Forge. I can build the layout, sure, but I haven't found a way to include some of the features such as the bridges that you can get knocked off into the lava. The Station Pieces allow you to see outside but I don't want that. Help?

I like your idea, you should forge it on Impact if you want that space theme, but i'm not certain 343i would jump on this opportunity because it is based of an idea that is copyrighted.

I am able to do a more rigid layout compared to the rough, organic shapes of the map. Similar layout was well. However, I fear that if I just do the shape's, I'll be lacking a certain "umph", know what I mean?

I see where your problems are coming from. The problem I see is that you will need a - - - - tonne of rock pieces. And I'm not sure how viable that option is, seeing as you have a 'set' amount of usable rocks and a budget to fit that.

If you can recreate that, I applaud you!
