  1. WELCOME Hello, my name is Cyanide On XBL, and I am here representing a clan on Halo: The Master Chief Collection called SSI. To shorten your time, I will not write a long paragraph for you to read, but instead make a list of information so that you can see what we are about. Information Started: 5/12/2015 Members: 10-20 Games: Halo: The Master Chief Collection (H2A and H4), will be moving to Halo 5. Type: Military and Competitive (2 Divisions to suit different players) Goals: To become a fun and active clan in the community that stands above others and kicks butt. Timezone: EST - PST Country: Mostly America (International) Requirements: Working mic, a copy of Halo: MCC, and the ability to cooperate. Organization: The clan is starting to become more and more organized by the day, so we are working on it. Concern: The new Xbox One environment causes some trouble for our recruitment and gameplay. Pros: The clan is together as a whole. Competitive Leaders: Cyanide on XBL (Drone PGL) has been in dozens of top-notch competitive clans/teams and has battled with many people. He has 13 years of experience, playing ever since he could hold a controller. AK is Toxic (WTLW aka Sparky) was one of the leaders of the Legions of Dawn, one of the main clans in the Legions of Sin Empire (Halo 4's largest clan community). He has been playing Halo for 10+ years.
  2. Every time I try to install mcc on my Xbox one it stops installing. Tried it on and offline. Got a hold of Xbox support and went through all sorts of things to correct it. In the end nothing worked and they told me I he to contact the makers of the game to see if there is an in game problem. Anybody know how to do that or know of the problem, thanks.
  3. A new update is now available for the Master Chief Collection! This update adds Team objective for the rotational playlist this month. And through extensive feedback (and alot of whining) the SWAT playlist is now permanent and Halo CE will now give us the option to vote for Slayer more often. Voting slots 1 and 2 in the Halo CE playlist will now ONLY give Slayer options. 343i is also aware of the issue that Halo CE now has the motion tracker enabled, they're already looking into resolving this. Additionally some more maps have been added to certain playlists and updates have been made to gametypes and maps. Here they are: Burial Mounds has been added to Halo 2 classic and Team Objective Exile and Harvest CTF have been added to Halo 4 Longest has been added to Halo 4 Team Slayer The occurence of Warlord BRs in Halo 2 Anniversary has been reduced The Halo Chapionship Series playlist has been updated to the latest tournament settings Map variants Pit Stop, Sand Tarp, Epilogue and Boundless have been added to Halo 3 We'll also get some ranked playlists that have not yet been released, but will be as soon as possible. The playlists you can look out for are: Halo CE Halo 2 Classic Halo 3 Halo 4 Team Hardcore The remaining featured playlists will not get ranking but will be making use of skill matchmaking. Team Slayer will become unranked somewhere around June as all featured Halo titles will get individual ranking. "While the appeal of a who’s-the-best-all-around-Halo-Slayer ranked playlist is a particularly interesting one, we also see great value in a social slay-‘em-all experience, and we wanted to provide a head’s up in case you’re on the grind." ~Bravo 343i knows that some people want other playlists ranked or even not ranked, but they state they cannot accomodate to each individual player. Instead they'll read as much feedback as possible and will adjust likewise. Team Doubles, Halo 3 Hardcore and 8v8 BTB are on the way but require some additional updates before they can be implemented. Team doubles will even return as a permanent playlist and will feature more variety in maps. Halo: ODST and the Relic remake are also on the way this month and 343i has released the official name of the remake. Which will be: More details on this will be released following up to the release. Is there anything you would like to see added/removed? Let us know down below! Thank you for reading! Source: Halowaypoint

  6. There's been an update for the Master Chief Collection which you'll need to download next time you boot up the game. This update adresses matchmaking penalties, ranking, stability and your usual maintenance. We'll start off with the thorn that has been in everyones eyes the last few weeks. Which is... Quitting and betraying: New quit and betrayal penalties have been added to matchmaking: In ranked playlists, quitting a match is now treated the same as a loss. Quitting is defined as exiting the game in any fashion. If you quit a match, your ranking will be impacted, and this may result in dropping a level. All quits and betrayals are being tracked automatically, and action is being taken against offending players who commit these offenses more than what is considered normal behavior. Next up is what people have been wanting since the beginning. Which is... Ranking: A variety of improvements to ranking consistency and penalties have been made. An issue that could cause a player to rank down excessively, such as dropping multiple levels after a loss has been resolved. An issue that caused a player’s rank to appear incorrectly has been resolved. Furthermore we have fixes for all Halo titles, parties, Achievements and Misc. Halo CE: An issue that was causing off-host players to deal more damage than the host in peer-to-peer custom games has been resolved. Updated Derelict to include the Rocket Launcher when selecting the “Classic” weapon set. Made improvements to vehicle weapon accuracy. Resolved an issue that caused incorrect bullet and grenade collision with an invisible object on the map Derelict. Update the “Boxer” controller layout by switching the “switch grenade” and “throw grenade” buttons. Halo 2 Classic: Resolved a hitbox issue where shooting an enemy’s weapon from the front would not cause damage. Corrected the matchmaking Team Ball respawn modifier from “Inheritance” to “None.” Halo 3: Updated Halo 3 Forge to include editing for all game types. Made significant improvements to Halo 3 audio, specifically in regards to weapon fire and sound effects. Made improvements to Halo 3 multiplayer networking stability. Made improvements to Halo 3’s controller “deadzones.” Resolved issues that were causing Halo 3 multiplayer stats to not track correctly. Resolved lighting and shading issues occurring on the “Sandbox” multiplayer map. Resolved an issue where the “Begins with a Single Step” achievement did not unlock correctly. Resolved an issue where the Golf Club object did not appear correctly in Forge. Halo 4: Resolved an issue where Primary Weapons could display in the Secondary Weapon slot after removing the Firepower Tactical Package. Parties: Made improvements to voice chat consistency, specifically in team-based matchmaking games. Resolved an issue where a player may not hear another player via voice chat after completing a game. Improved party functionality, specifically in regards to game invites and joinable states. Increased the speed at which the roster populates with Xbox Live friends after completing a game. Resolved an issue where players could get stuck on the “Leaving Matchmaking” screen for longer than usual. Resolved an issue where players were unable to join immediately after becoming Xbox Live friends. Achievements: Resolved an issue that caused "The Guardians Are Coming" achievement to not unlock correctly. Resolved issues that caused complications with Spartan Ops achievements unlocking. Misc: Made a variety of improvements to UI throughout the title, specifically in regards to notification messages and stability. Improved Playlist and Campaign Career Stats tracking for Halo 2, Halo 3 & Halo 4. Made a variety of significant improvements to stability throughout the title. We also get some information on the status of our complementary Relic map and ODST port. Although Bravo doesn't tell us much, he does tell us that both Relic and ODST will be released with the upcoming update next month. Following up to the release will be more info on the exact release date and the name of the Relic remake. We also get a few screenshots to look at in the meantime which I'll put down here: Has your annoying issue finally been resolved? Let us know down below! Thank you for reading! 8. Some of you may have heard of the Forgehub contest for a 1v1 map in Halo 2 Anniversary. The prizes being $500, a $300 gaming headset, or $100 gaming glasses. But that contest is already over. Well I had an absolutely spectacular idea. However, I am neither experienced nor dedicated at Forge, but I do not want this idea to go to waste. I am reluctant to share everything about the map, but I will say a few things. It has some interesting dynamics that could totally work in Halo 2 Anniversary, but that I've never seen in any other maps before. I did test this dynamic to see if it would work, and alas, it did, exactly to my expectations. The aesthetic for the canvas I wanted to use fit perfectly as well. If you are a forger who has made several (being more than two I suppose) decent maps, contact me on Xbox Live @ Furi0usGeorgeX and let me see some of the maps you've made. If I like them, both aesthetically and in terms of map design, I will share the plans I made for the map with you, and trust you to build the map of my dreams. Trust me, the idea is cool as hell and I'm not hard to please. I will also help you playtest the map. Again, if you're interested, contact Furi0usGeorgeX on Xbox Live.

  13. After the last MCC content update (the big one that was supposed to fix everything) I noticed the faster search times, more stable games/lobbies, etc. But one big problem (for me anyways) I found was that 343i changed the max players on the Big Team Battle playlist. Before the patch it was 16 players 8v8 max, but after the patch its now 14 players 7v7 max. They didn't mention this in the patch notes at all, and every time someone brings it up it just gets ignored, from what I've seen. It might seem like a small minute problem to some of you, and I can understand that. For me though (and I'm sure I'm not the only one), Big Team is my favorite playlist, and in every single Halo game, Big Team Battle has always been 16 players 8v8. Always. For 343i to just all the sudden bring the max players down to 14 and not explain why, or even mention it at all, is a bit wrong honestly. I really hope 343i gets better at communicating with the community, and works on their public relations as a whole. The small things like this actually matter and add up. I'm totally not trying to be one of those "SCREW 343i, BURN BONNIE ROSS AT THE STAKE" type people XD (you all know the type of people I'm talking about. Just check /r/HaloCircleJerk on reddit hahaha), but I'm just saying how 343i should work on a number of things.
  14. Hey forum, Executive producer Dan Ayoub has given us further information on Halo 3: ODST and the remastered 'Relic' map coming to the Master Chief Collection. 'Relic' was a well loved map from Halo 2, and ODST was an unforgettable game for many of us. 343 Industries are clearly working real hard to redeem theirselves. He says "our test and community teams have been running daily playtests on Relic to hammer on the map as much as possible." Sounds like 343 are putting in a lot of effort to bring us new content. There will be further details regarding launch dates as they begin finishing things up. Dan states that there is another content update coming in April. There has been a fairly recent update that has fixed up matchmaking, so players should no longer have problems connecting with each other online. There will be further updates to eliminate any remaining issues with the Master Chief Collection. Below are some new images released that show the Relic map, and a shot of Halo 3: ODST. Comparison between classic and remastered graphics Action on the remastered version of Relic The plaza from Halo 3: ODST in the Master Chief Collection What do you all think about these images? Are you looking forward to the major update? Leave your thoughts down below, thanks for reading. - Spartan Source: http://halo4nation.com/master-chief-collection/31315-master-chief-collection-update-dan-ayoub/
  15. GREETINGS CHILDREN. You may or may not remember, but last year I had an unfortunate accident in my family which made doing my Trinity Events impossible, it's been a year since and I feel it's high time to show you what I've got in store. I am organizing 3 events on 3 unconfirmed Saturdays in April. This is all going to take place on the Xbox One. We have two games confirmed so far on the roster! The other is up to your vote! First Game: GTA V on Xbox One - Heists Second Game: Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Custom Games Third Game - TBA This third title is up to you! I will be adding a poll to determine what multiplayer game you want to see and play. Even if you're not sure if you can make it to the event, leave it down. More details will be edited into the thread when the time comes. Also, I will be Twitch streaming each event! Thanks everybody!
  16. Clan name: SABER SQUADRON Clan leader (me) : one1sh0tonek1ll (that's my gamer tag) My email: [email protected] Halo MCC (a lot of halo 4) / Halo 5/ Any other halo after that will be the primary games this clan will play. Any other games played, if any, will be discussed by the clan. If you are the type of person who cannot play a game for a long period of time then please don't ask to join the clan. This is a master chief collection clan and a halo 5 clan primarily and this will probably be the only game that is consistently and mandatoraly played by clan members. I predominantly play halo 4 myself in the MCC because imo it is the most fun but will play halo 1-3 too if the clan wants. I am not crazy strict but if you don't follow the simple rules below then don't bother trying to join the clan. I PREFER PEOPLE WHO HAVE MICS- IT MAKES IT A LOT HARDER WHEN WE CAN'T TALK. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MIC BUT WANT TO JOIN AT SOME POINT YOU MUST GET A MIC. Clan Rules: 1. All members of the clan WILL treat every other member of the clan with respect. If you consistently bother, disrespect, or just do things that you obviously shouldn't, you will get demoted. Max of 2 demotions are aloud a year. The third problem with the same individual in that year will get them kicked from the clan. 2. You must play halo MCC or halo 5 (when it comes out) at least once a week (by yourself or with another clan member) . On top of this, an officer must play with an Enlisted member and an Enlisted member must play with an officer once a month. I will not keep a written record of this but if I ask and see that you are not playing halo once a week/ not playing with a clan member once a month then you will be demoted. Consistent problems with a clan member never playing will get them kicked from the clan. 3. TIME and my own judgement will determine when you get ranked up in the clan. One clan member per enlisted and officer will get ranked up every two months. You cannot get selected two months in a row. For example, once every two months in the clans life span I will pick 1 officer and 1 enlisted member to get ranked up. The next time I select an officer and an enlisted member to rank up (two months later) it will not be the same person as BEFORE (there may be exceptions) . I will pick people who put in the most work in the clan. If you rarely help in the clan and do the minimum not to get kicked, you will obviously not get ranked up. 4. There are a max of 50 people in the clan. A max of 10 officers and 40 enlisted members can be in the clan. OFFICERS WILL GET MORE RESPONSIBILITY AND HAVE TO PUT IN MORE WORK THAN ENLISTED MEMBERS. With that though comes predominance of decision making in the clan-you get more say. More time put in the clan means your words will have more impact and you will obviously get the credit you've earned. If you want structure and want to be in a good clan but don't want the extra responsibilities then ask to be enlisted- there is no shame in that and I respect officers and enlisted the same. If we max out clan members, and someone wants to join the clan, and they are putting in more work than you, I will let you know that you may get kicked due to competition. You need to actually BE A CLAN MEMBER to be in the clan. 5. Understand that THIS IS NOT A JOKE CLAN. THIS IS NOT A CLAN THAT YOU CAN JUST DO WHATEVER YOU WANT. THIS IS A SERIOUS CLAN WHERE WE PUT IN WORK AND HAVE FUN. BUT THE HAVING FUN IS **!! AFTER THE WORK IS DONE!!** PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS. This is not an mlg clan and this is not a clan I ever want to go pro with. But just because I don't want to go pro with the clan does not mean I want to bs all the time. I want to learn tactics, become dominate in this game and get better. SERIOUS HALO PLAYERS ONLY. 6. IF INTERESTED, send me a message on xbox live/ or my email (which is listed on the top) consisting of: -gamertag -what you want to be called. Do you prefer me calling you by your gamer tag or first name? -if you want to be enlisted or an officer -primary weapon of choice and secondary weapon of choice -main playing strategy (do you stay long distance, snipe, are you aggressive, close quarters, medium distance, guerilla tactics, or do you have many different playing styles) -why you want to join a clan Enlisted ranks: Private Private First class Lance corporal Corporal Sergeant Staff Sergeant Gunnery Sergeant First Sergeant Sergeant Major Officer ranks: 2nd lieutenant 1st lieutenant Captain Major Lieutenant colonel Colonel Brigadier General Major General Lieutenant General General
