  1. Just means he hasn't registered on HXC yet.
  2. World's longest intro post. xD Anyways, welcome to the forum If you have any questions about the site, please feel free to PM myself or another moderator. I hope you enjoy your time here and make plenty of friends.
  3. There is only two books (so far) that you will need to understand this thread. They are called Cryptum and Primordium.
  4. Or you could go into matchmaking until you find a guy better than you, and ask him if he would mind having a couple of 1v1's with you so you could get better.
  5. A tugboat transformer would more than likely fry it's circuitry... wouldn't be much of a fighter then would it?
  6. Yeah, you know when I was in the USMC I don't recall ever teaching a class, being a doctor, driving a bus (full of civilians), lowering taxes, or going into outer space. Nor do I recall preventing planes from flying into buildings. All I remember doing is going over to Afghanistan and fighting. The fact of the matter is our military is one of the largest in the world, and has more advanced technology most. The only countries that would even stand a chance against us in an attack on US Soil are at peace with us, and have no call to attack us. As a matter of fact, if they did attack us, then they would be breaching their position on the UN, and would effectively screw their country over for the next century or so. We do not NEED a larger military. The only reason Romney wants one is so he can play general by attacking Iran. Which, by the way, even his facts supporting his statements that we should attack Iran are completely made up, outright lies.
  7. Any ship can be used in combat, but the fact of the matter is the designs of a freighter and a fighter are different. And I said that the MF was MEANT to have a small crew (i.e. 3-4 people). Basically what you are saying is that a tugboat is a battleship because both can have 2 people crews and still maintain a bit of function and both of them can be used in combative roles.
  8. I do believe that he was simply comparing the two different ships, without trying to offend anyone. As he said in the OP, the title is just for some shock value to get people to look at the topic. As for the OP, the Millennium Falcon is what is known as a "universal ship design". In other words, it's been used so much that it's hard NOT to eventually create a ship that looks similar to it. It's the same with the UNSC ships in Halo. In this case, the only real similarity is in the shape, which is like saying that my Dunkin' Donut is like my car tire lol Differences between the two craft: 1. The Millenium Falcon is a Freighter, the Seraph is a fighter. 2. The Millenium Falcon is meant to have a small crew, while the Seraph only needs a pilot. 3. The Millenium Falcon is white, the Seraph is purple. 4. The Millenium Falcon has it's cockpit in the front of the ship, the Seraph has it in the center. 5. The Millenium Falcon fires laser and missile weapons, the Seraph uses guided plasma and rapid fire plasma weapons.
  9. Don't quote the spambots please. -.-
  10. Yep, they sure did. They added it after it was BEGGED for by the majority of forum goers, only to have it complained about by the same forum goers who begged for it. lol
  11. Commendations, ribbons, and in-game challenges have always counted toward the credit cap. The only way to earn credits that hasn't was the custom challenges, and that only lasted for about a month because people abused the crap out of it.
  12. Indeed. Also, I'd like to point out that most people think of multiple universes being the same universe, but slightly different in some way. An example of this line of thought would be "In a different universe I am married to Angelina Jolie." I can see how you could think this, but no. The same line of thought would be "In a different country I am married to Angelina Jolie". Another universe wouldn't be a different plane of existence, or an alternate dimension, but simply something very very very (x10392489384812^891328919273192873) far away. The idea of another universe containing an exact copy of yourself living a different life is, quite frankly, ludicrous. It's fun to imagine though.
  13. Lol Yeah, except save my life. If it weren't for Obamacare, the insurance I have would not have covered the antibiotics I needed (even with Obamacare, they only covered roughly 45% of the cost, mind you). Fact is, I didn't have the money required to get the antibiotics full price, and with how ill I had become I had no way of making the money either. If Obamacare hadn't put pressure on the insurance companies to actually cover needed medicines, I would be dying a slow and painful death.

  19. Actually, if you reread Cryptum, the Didact himself wonders if the humans would have won the war against them if they hadn't been fighting a war on two fronts. Also, the humans didn't actually invent a cure (as the Timeless One reveals), the flood LET the "cure" work on them. That is why the forerunners were not able to make a cure.
  20. The only time I look up an answer is if it's a question that someone actually NEEDS answered. And the only reason I look it up is to verify my current knowledge on the subject. You see, I have a lot of time on my hands, and internet access. So I spend my days trying to learn as much as I possibly can. I love quiz shows like Jeopardy and QI (and some of the answers you've seen in this thread came from things I've learned from QI, in fact) and love browsing random pages on wikipedia in my off-time, and verifying their contents. Knowledge is something that I absolutely adore, and I'm as addicted to it as some people are addicted to coffee. 1. Been asked three times already xD The answer is: "Nothing".2. I DESPISE brussel sprouts. I don't care how they are cooked, or what seasoning/salad dressing/etc. is on them, I loathe their very existence They are like evil little cabbages, which taste ten times as bad! Ah Afghanistan. Beautiful this time of year. Well, sort of. At least it's warm though. Well, during the day... Anyways, Spartan Ops will be released as DLC, so you will be able to download it upon your return stateside. Just like the Halo 3 and Halo Reach map packs. As far as we know, it's not a "limited time" offer or anything, they will simply be released one by one as DLC. So, as long as you have a gold account, you'll be golden. Remember to zip your bag up all the way while you are over there. Camel spiders and whatnot. I love the hell out of tea. My tea. As in the kind I make. Screw Lipton, their tea doesn't have crap on mine! lol I do not give out personal information on other people. Ever, no exceptions. I do not work for 343i, and cannot help you here. Although, I'd like to see a five letter/number clantag as well. lol
  21. Duplicate thread (seriously, there's about 50). Topic closed.
  22. Topic resolved, and therefor closed. inb4 post boosters.
  23. Five customers (seven including myself and the guy who walked in), each normal hand and foot having 14 phalanges. So the three uninjured people would have a total of 168 phalanges. There are four other people in the bar, so let's count the phalanges per person.1. Bartender: Legs missing, 28 phalanges. 2. Prosthetic leg (assuming no other injuries): 42 phalanges. 3. Missing ring finger: 53 phalanges. 4. Missing arm: 42 phalanges. 5. Me: Missing legs 28 phalanges. So that would be a total of 361 phalanges. 375 if the guy who is "on a prosthetic leg" is simply sitting on it. 319 excluding the guy who walked in, assuming the guy on a prosthetic leg is sitting on it. 305 excluding the guy who walked in assuming the guy on a prosthetic leg is missing a leg. As to the second part of the question, wheelchairs/crutches/etc. implies walking assistant devices. However, a prosthetic limb does not count as one of these. So I would have to go with "I have prosthetic legs". Or, I'm on a horse. There are several. I think you are asking about, "What do women want?" though, because that would be funny. A mountain. Also, technically this riddle is now false since it's been discovered that mountains do, in fact, grow (e.g. Mt. Everest).
  24. Did you know that this mission was the subject of one of Reach's live action trailers?
