  1. Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Purgatory Gametype: Hunter Description: This map was originally my submission to the Meet Your Maker contest, but it has since been changed to work with flood and my own variant; "Hunter", among others. The map is a re-imagination of the Crysis 3 map entitled "Airport", and I did my best to mimic the multiplayer gametype "Hunter" which has the flood with poor camo and modified health/speed, against the armed humans, representing the CELL troops. The map boasts awesome aesthetics and thrilling gameplay that the majority of my testers have greatly enjoyed! If you choose to feature this map, I would greatly appreciate a shout-out to my channel (youtube.com/OnlineKnights), because it would really help us out. Here's a video on my channel that we just released concerning the map: Here's a quick cover picture to give you an idea of how it looks: Thanks for looking this over, and I hope you'll consider it for a feature. Update: Yay, thank you Mr Pokephile for the feature:
  2. Hey guys, just thought that it would be a good time to post my now-completed flood map; "Emerald Mine". Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Emerald Mine (In my fileshare) Gametype: Flood Mode (Not the regular flood, the gametype's in my fileshare) Description: When a group of soldiers no longer have anywhere else to hide, they evacuate to an old UNSC mining facility that was once used to gather the largely-present resource of emerald, found both in the stones and underground. However, once they lock the side-tunnel and blow the main gate, two Flood-forms still manage to enter. The soldiers must now use the facility and its large array of machines as cover while they battle the Flood. Luckily for them, as UNSC protocol states, there are turret stations present which may allow for an added defense against the Flood, although they must beware that they are heat-seeking and will attack any moving object. Recommended Players: 8-16 players Here's a video review for the map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Biuo4t1EFjQ Feel free to check this link to see a similar thread, dedicated to the aesthetics of this map, as have been submitted to THFE: http://www.343indust...ining-machines/ Map Aesthetics Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnS5JpINT6I 1st place Winner of Insanmiac's "Best of the Dead" contest (6:32): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgHli4SNGdA Ducain23's Feature of the map. **Just wanted to ask that if you did chose to feature to please mention my channel (youtube.com/OnlineKnights) thanks!** And at the bottom there is a picture: Thanks for your time and I hope that you all enjoy the map!
  3. Hey 343iCF, I'm here to bring you all my content for the recently-unveiled "Shmeef" project that THFE has invented. Originally I wanted to feature my Shmeefs in some of my maps, however, I could never find a good spot to do so, therefore instead I created a mini-museum/gallery to showcase all my Shmeef designs. In this gallery you can find a new variety of Shmeefs, varying from Left 4 Dead parodies to those from Gears of War and many, many others. I want to tell all forgers that they can feel free to use the designs I have shown in the video and any other kind of variation that they can come up with, since that is the purpose of the video. If this interests you, please check out the below video to see all of my Shmeef creations (so far), thanks for your time!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhN1NSvzYlg I just wanted to mention that this is my attempt at helping THFE popularize the "Shmeef" concept and I really hope it catches on as it is a fun as easy concept to forge. **As a message to any THFE members, if you chose to feature this, could you please mention my channel (youtube.com/OnlineKnights) thanks a lot and good luck with the Shmeefs!**
  4. Hey guys, just thought I'd come here and share with you all my newest creations in Halo 4. These are all aesthetics that I've invented and they were not actually made in the form of an aesthetics map, but are rather part of my Flood map entitled "Emerald Mine". Through this post I will show you all the Mining-related machines I had in mind while I created them, and then I will follow with pictures that depict my interpretation of these machines. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope you can find use for these creations in you maps - although an important note is that some of these vehicles are limited to Erosion only. Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Emerald Mine (Fileshare) Description: This map is actually a flood map, but features the mining site where the UNSC has found mass veins of Emerald. Throughout the map there are multiple machines that are being use to either dig the mineral, transport it, or analyse it. These are the focus of this post. Pictures: #1: The First machine is a drilling device. For my map I decided to alter it a bit, but the basic sense of it remains: #2: The second machine is a long-reaching crane-like rock crusher. This design stays rather similar within this re-creation: #3. The third machine is a truck that transports all the excess rocks from the digging sites. Once again, the in-game design stays rather similar to the actual machine. #4. The fourth machine is a type of vertical drilling device. This design was rather drastically altered to better fit the set environment. #5. The fifth and final machine is a mineral-testing robot that was completely invented. THFE Aesthetic Feature: Anyways, thanks for your time and all forms of feedback are welcomed!
  5. Hello 343iCF, I'm here today to make my Dedicated Members thread, because I've finally reached the point where I have hit this wonderfully prestigious position. I've read quite a few other topic threads like this, where I've always though "man... I can't wait until I hit this" and now that I finally have, I can honestly say that I'm filled with joy. My time here has been great and the people overall have just been amazing. Today, on this occasion, I thought to take the time to quickly go over all the important stuff that I have gotten into while here, and give a few shout-outs to my fellow players. First of all, the fact that I just got my 500th post means a lot to me. It represents (atleast in my opinion) my own little mark that I've left on this forum and I've got to say that the journey's been great. As for my shout-outs, I guess I'm going to have to name a few players who were really cool to talk with here on the forums. First, I want to thank DoctorB77. He was the first member whom I really spoke to and got to have feedback on my posts and maps, which was something I appreciated. Next, I wanted to thank the Director, whom I had a lot of fun with in the "Ask the Director" thread - and yes, after being defeated repeatedly for a while, I finally managed to nab myself a "Vitamin P" award, for which I am very grateful. Then, I want to thank both TOMLIDS and PyschoDuck for speaking with me on the forum on a few occasions and for adding me on Live, where we've gotten the chance to play for a while, which was great! Before last, I'm going to thank Ironsignia, for making me a spectacular signature and being so nice about it! Last of all, I guess I'll thank all of the people who I added on my friends list and who have been supportive throughout my Forge Maps posts; Almighty Tallest Purple, Berb, COL0NEL SANDERS, Chewin3, Erco 'Zjadee, Gangus Khan III, Oakley HiDef, REMkings, SweepsP2K, TOMLDS, adamj004, cra****111, haloman 2 and sheesh1991. To do a quick follow-up on the mention of my Forge Maps, here's a list of all the links to these maps. (Please keep in mind, not all of them are posted on this forum - I only chose to share those that I think were the best). Please feel free to leave me a comment on any of them if you like the maps! Robius5991 Map List: -Skyrim: Fort Dawnguard -Tanker -LOTR: Minas Tirith -[PB] Assassin's Creed -Into the Sarlacc -Predatorial Grounds: Guatemala Lastly, I just wanted to let you all know that the Youtube channel that I have started with a few friends is now official "open"! We've been doing prep-work for a long time, but are finally posting our vids and hope to do so for a while. To start off we're going to be doing a Halo Reach Forge Maps Re-cap, which should include about 13 maps, so if you like what you see, please come over and subscribe to us to keep track with all of our new posts. (Each subscription really helps) In the future, we're going to be expanding our cast, and also expanding the amount of games we will be posting about (for example, on it's release, I will be posting Assassin's Creed 3 videos). [be sure to watch in 720p HD] Youtube Channel - OnlineKnights Here's our primary introduction video, and also our first forge map feature: Well, that should pretty much wrap everything up for me. For those of you who've seen me on the forums before, I imagine that you're not too surprised with my long posts, but for the others' who are checking me out for the first time, I apologise if I tend to overwrite, I just love sharing all of my thoughts! I look forward to seeing you all around the forums in the future, and hopefully, I will be able to secure my long-awaited title that I've had in mind. We'll just have to wait and see... See you all on the forums, -Robius5991
  6. Hey guys, I just thought I'd come here, like I've seen quite a few others do, to announce that I've reached a milestone within the forum community. Last night, I got my 200th post and reach the status of "Trusted member". I know it's not really as impressive as other milestones reached recently by some fellow players (Chease Monster - Ryu) but still, I really just wanted to thank all of you who've help me reach my 200! Thank you 343iCF for being just so welcoming and enjoyable, I love sharing conversations with you in the shoutbox when I can, and following up with conversations and debates within various threads. I've checked out some of the other Halo forums and I must say that personnaly, this is one of my favourites! I would have to say though, that my favourite thing to do here on the forums would have to be sharing the maps I've completed in Halo: Reach. Although I have made quite a few, I've only seen fit to share with you all what I consider to be my best. So, if Forge Maps interest you, please check these out - they've been the pinnacle of my ascension to the rank of "Trusted member". Please leave me comments on the maps to give me your opinion and any feedback you can offer - all members are welcome, the more feedback, the more I learn! Thank you 343iCF here is my Halo: Reach Forge maps Portfolio: Infection Maps: "Skryim: Fort Dawnguard" "Tanker" Invasion Map: "LOTR: Minas Tirith" Mini-Game Maps: "[PB] Assassin's Creed" "Into the Sarlacc"
