Okay, so by your logic these two helmets and the emblem are worth more than FUD, 15% off of 3 different map packs, and the War games map pack? Not to mention that all that the two helmets and the emblem will probably be released for everyone at a later date (just like all of the pre-order bonuses) as DLC, and the artwork and such that are always released with special editions of Halo. Plus, if something happens to your account then either A] It was hacked, which Microsoft will be willing to hook you up in that case or B] you got permabanned and an account deletion. If something happens to your X-Box then you can simply replace your X-Box and redownload it, or recover your account on a friends X-Box and download it there. So now my question is... what exactly are you complaining about?

There is a rumor circling around that they are going to tweak the ranking system post launch to accommodate those of you who are complaining about it. But seriously though, whenever you have a "1 step forward, 1 step back" ranking system (i.e. Halo 3), you are going to get people who derank. Derankers are a problem, because they ruin the game for those who are less experienced. Imagine in your first game of H3 you face a 50 while you are still a 1. You aren't familiar with the controls, you don't know what the equipment does, or that the BR is 4-shot, or where the spawns are and no one on your team does either. But s/he does, and they've deranked just so they can come up against you. Be a pretty crappy game wouldn't it? Your k/d would start off terrible, and if you were stuck in lobbies with other derankers it would stay that way. Even if you managed to get to a 50, people would think you boosted because your k/d would be so bad. The fact is, deny it all you want, but derankers in Halo 3 were just as common as actual players in it's hayday. For those of you who don't know, a deranker is someone who intentionally loses games so that their truskill drops (because it will always say that you managed to get to a 50) to the point where when they play, they come up against people who are inexperienced and can get FAR more kills. And honestly, when I see people begging for it back that's the only reason I can think of for wanting it back. There are alternatives to a 1-50 1 step forward 1 step back ranking system however. For instance, a ranking system that awards you with a bit of truskill and some exp when you win, and absolutely nothing if you lose. So, you can only go forward or stay where you are. Eventually you will begin facing people who are as good as you are (and maybe some who are a bit better so that you can have a challenge). That's the way the truskill system SHOULD work. The only downside here is that you will get to a point where everyone is better than you, and you won't be able to advance further. An alternative is to make it 5 or 10 losses = truskill point loss, and no exp for losing (or 1/10 of the exp you would have gotten). This will make it a real pain in the ass to derank and make it easier to catch and punish derankers. It will also give people the opportunity to continue playing people of similar skill level, while providing an incentive to win. Also, both truskill and exp (in both systems) should be on an individual basis only, so you don't get boosters (which would be hard to do but still possible).

Honestly what annoyed me most about Reach was putting three shots (with a DMR) on a rushing opponent, and then having to double melee him because they took out bleedthrough. Or worse, getting three shots in and landing the fourth just as s/he melees, causing us to melee each other even though I shot them first and most. That's the main reason I started playing SWAT nearly exclusively (that and snipers).

I despise nerfs. All of the weapons should be 1sk, with a few that have AOE 1sk. You know why? Because that's realistic. Want a short list of the things that have been nerfed in Halo so far? 1. Magnum (less damage, less accuracy, multiple times) 2. BR (H4 does less damage) 3. Vehicles (Less damage, less protection, multiple times) 4. Melee (no bleedthrough, only does whatever the equivalent of the shield at the time) 5. AR (smaller clip, less damage) 6. Sniper Rifle (Slower RoF) 7. Rockets (No lock on on ground vics, slower firing rate, rocket drop) 8. Shields (less shields, regen time increased) 9. Needler (slower RoF, Less Damage, No duel wield, less ammo, multiple times) In that short list there have been thousands of players complaining about every single one of the nerfs. Main complaint from H1 to H2 was the Magnum and AR nerfs, main complaint from H2 to H3 was the sniper nerf, and then the hundreds of different complaint threads (and mind you, a very small percentage of the community disagreed) about all of the different nerfs in Reach. They nerfed everything SO badly that they had to nerf the shield system as well! If you played an average slayer game with the H1,2, or 3 shield system, you would run out of time nearly every match! I seriously do not see how anyone can possibly think that nerfing things is a good idea, especially with all the evidence to the contrary. The term "nerfing" is actually a derogatory term you know. It means to load an in-game weapon with nerf darts. I am by far and large not a competitive gamer, but nerfing POWER weapons is friggin ridiculous. The Needler, AR, and Magnum I get, but everything else you have to literally fight to get your hands on. And if it's nerfed, there's no point to it. Might as well remove all of the power weapons from the game entirely. If you think a power weapon is OP, then my advice to you is get good and keep your enemies from taking it. I don't mean to sound harsh, but it is a rather thoughtless thing to do to suggest nerfing a weapon that is accessible by both teams and has limited ammo.

Actually, in this case it does. The leaked info coming out is from an illegally obtained game disc that was stolen and then pirated onto the internet, and subsequently illegally downloaded by quite a few people. So yes, it is illegally leaked information.

There are people out there both lying about spoilers and telling real spoilers. The only way to know for sure is actually spoiling yourself. That, however, would suck. I recommend the "nanananana this didn't happen nanananana" approach. Basically, tell yourself that it was a lie and stay away from the rest of the internet for a while. ESPECIALLY Youtube comments and Reddit. You can hang out here though, because anyone who posts spoilers related to the leak (i.e. nearly all spoilers) will be immediately banned.
