  1. Wow Gryffin, I knew you were talented with your photoshop/editing programs but I wasn't aware of your capabilities in drawing as well. You've got a great assortment of works here. Amazing job!
  2. Wow, I haven't been around the forum too much lately, but I've got to say that you've definitely re-sparked my interest and I'll have to start spending more time here. Wonderful job on the interview you guys, you both did a great job and it was both informative and enjoyable to read. Keep up the great work Drizzy. Btw, I just have to say it; Thanks a lot Spades for everything you've done for us. We love you man, and we really appreciate it!
  3. Yay! Congrats to Able for becoming MoM! Keep up all the amazing work you do for the community, we really appreciate it!
  4. Thanks man, I'm glad you liked it. I'm also happy you enjoyed the aesthetics, it's pretty much as far as I would go for the re-make while still making it compatible in Halo 4. That's why its more of a re-imagination. PS: If anyone's interested in more pictures of the map here's the link to the map post on HaloCustoms.
  5. Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Purgatory Gametype: Hunter Description: This map was originally my submission to the Meet Your Maker contest, but it has since been changed to work with flood and my own variant; "Hunter", among others. The map is a re-imagination of the Crysis 3 map entitled "Airport", and I did my best to mimic the multiplayer gametype "Hunter" which has the flood with poor camo and modified health/speed, against the armed humans, representing the CELL troops. The map boasts awesome aesthetics and thrilling gameplay that the majority of my testers have greatly enjoyed! If you choose to feature this map, I would greatly appreciate a shout-out to my channel (youtube.com/OnlineKnights), because it would really help us out. Here's a video on my channel that we just released concerning the map: Here's a quick cover picture to give you an idea of how it looks: Thanks for looking this over, and I hope you'll consider it for a feature. Update: Yay, thank you Mr Pokephile for the feature:
  6. I love this mini-game, it's just absolutely amazing.
  7. Thanks so much Insignia, this means that I don't need to lose the EPIC sig/avatar pic you've already made me. Thank you so much for the time you put in to research that (I tried for so long and couldn't find anything) and for the time you put in to make the original sig. You're really amazing man, and I know that I speak for everyone when I thank you for all the great works of art you've created for this community!
  8. Hey Spades, I missed you guys last week, but I'll do my best to join you all tonight. Your Game Nights are always epic. -Robius5991
  9. Hey Ducain, Nice to see you here on this awesome forum! Anyways, I noticed that there wasn't any map submissions yet, and so I decided to submit my flood map "Emerald Mine" to your channel. Map Name: Emerald Mine Gametype: Flood Mode (This is an alternative of Flood on my fileshare, however any flood gametypes work [i've been told Flood Evolved is pretty fun on it]) Map Creator: Robius5991 Recommended Player Count: 6-16 Brief Description: The UNSC has abandoned this mining facilty long ago, but now it is your last haven against the invading flood. Use machinery and the old defense system to protect yourself, but beware of the turrets' heat-seaking rounds, they will kill anything... including you. If you happen to decide to feature this map, I was wondering if you might be able to give a shout-out to my channel: Youtube.com/OnlineKnights). We're really trying to grow and any support would be extremely appreciated! Video Review of the Map: Aesthetic Overview of the Map: Best of the Dead 1st place winner (6:43): https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fgHli4SNGdA#t=399s Ducain23 feature!
  10. **Important**: I'd kind of like to level with you guys right off the bat. This new avatar would be used both for here (on this forum) and on youtube, if its o.k with you guys. The main reason I would like a new avatar is not because I don't like the last one you made me Insignia (It's freaking amazing!) but mainly because my youtube channel is growing and I would really like to avoid any potential copyright issues that the image may bring (although I'm not aware if the previous image is copyrighted, i would like to avoid the possibility). So, I figured it would cool to update my avatar picture for this forum as that same picture. Therefore I apologize in advance for the vagueness of this request, and I understand if I'm asking too much... The images I will imput here are not necessarily those you need to use, these are just examples of what I may consider to be non-copyrighted material (and therefore safe for me to use on my channel). Basically, i trust your artistic talents and I hope that by seeing the background of my channel (https://www.youtube....r/OnlineKnights) that you'll get a feel for the coloring and effects you may use. I have no particular preference as long as it holds to the original "Online Knights" theme. Artist: - No preference Classification [Avatar] * Format [PNG (Static image)] Size [Whatever size works as an avatar picture/ youtube avatar] Style [i'm sorry to ask but if you can take a look at my youtube channel background -> https://www.youtube....r/OnlineKnights I would love to be able to keep it rustic/worn-out rock-like look to it (I'm having a hard time expressing myself, but I think you'll understand when you see the background] Primary Colors [Your personal preferences] IMAGE Information: The picture I'm giving here is just an example. If you guys have any knight helmet pictures that you're sure isn't copyright, and that you think works better, please use it. IMAGE:http://s1079.beta.ph...html?sort=3&o=0 Background [Whatever you think works] Writing [none] Font [none] Extras [basically, by looking at my channel background, I hope you can figure out some kind of theme that would fit well with it, using the helmet as its center piece (or even a full knight image, if you know its not copyrighted - you can then put any kind of background or effect, or anything that you think would work well. I guess I' m really giving you guys creative liberty on this, because I'm a little at a lost for any specific type image] Locations [The helmet or knight (whatever you chose) would be more of the centerpiece, then any background that you think would work would be great]
  11. Yay Spades! Congratz on the promotion! Can't wait to play in your customs once again in the future!
  12. Thanks, me too. I did my best to re-create this as well as possible to make it look awesome! Thanks for your support!
  13. Thanks man, I'm so happy that even once we've entered the timeframe of Halo 4, people are still liking some of my Halo: Reach forge maps!
  14. Well bearclawskiller, I've got say that you must have some magic *wink wink -> telepathic powers* because the same day that you commented on this map, it was picked up by THFE, who gave it an awesome Aesthetics tutorial on their channel - of which I am very thankful to them. Then, just today I saw that Insanmiac announced the winners of his "Best of the Dead" contest and Emerald Mine placed 1st! I just wanted to thank you personally for the awesome support you showed for me when I posted the map, it really meant a lot and I can't believe that your prediction came true. Thanks a lot for your feedback and kind words!
  15. This is a splendid game! Some of the best graphics I've seen in single-player and the multiplayer was pretty fun as well. In fact, now that you've brought it up, I think I may start playing this again a little more! If I remember correctly, just a few cheevos left... may try to get those! Thanks for bringing me back down memory lane... even if it wasn't that old.
  16. Incredible artwork. I'm a huge Assassin's Creed fan and I must say that this is purely amazing!
  17. Lol, this is in my Halo: Reach fileshare - You must be looking at my Halo 4 fileshare
  18. Thanks bearclawskiller, I really appreciate the positive support!
  19. Thanks a lot Oakley, I'm so glad you guys liked this!
  20. I think that the ending for this game was Ubisoft's way of leaving us with the "Greatest Cliffhanger" they could pull off. For what I'm going to say next, I warn you all that there will be SPOILERS FOR ALL OTHER AC GAMES (Please bare with me as I give examples to help elaborate my point):: #1: In the first Assassin's Creed, Altair's story was nicely wrapped up and there was no definitive cliffhanger - however, Desmond's story was left in a rather intense state as he developed the bleeding effect and could see the remnants of bloody symbols all over his room. #2: In Assassin's Creed 2, Ezio's story was left hanging when we learn that it wasn't god that was hidden in the vault, but that it was rather the remnants of Those Who Came Before who spoke through Ezio to Desmond directly. Desmond's story ended with them escaping their warehouse hideout, after fighting off Vidic and the modern Templars. #3: In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio recovers the Apple of Eden and hides it within a vault under a Roman church. Desmond's story drastically ends with him stabbing Lucy to death, when he is under the control of Those Who Came Before, and falling into a coma. #4: In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ezio and Altair's stories are finally completely wrapped up (in what I thought was a really nice manner) but Desmond's story ends with him waking up from his coma, re-establishing his shattered mind, and saying that he knows what to do with the Apple to save the world. #5: In Assassin's Creed 3, Connor's story is well wrapped up as he participates in ending the revolution and settling himself, having hidden the seal for a future generation. Desmond's story ends with him sacrificing himself to save the world from destruction, but thus releasing Juno (I think) who will try to bring the world back under her control. -- In conclusion, by looking as the games' endings (Desmond's in particular) you can see that Ubisoft always ends them with a cliffhanger. My personal perspective on it is that they tried to progressively intensify their cliffhanger-endings. For this reason, I can understand why it has ended in such an explosive manner and although I am a little saddened to see Desmond go, this opens the door for what could be the most mind-twisting Assassin's Creed game to date. I mean come on, not only are the Assassins fighting the Templars, but they are also going to have Juno's omniscient influence to deal with. Anyways, all of this is to say that within the proper context, I think that the ending was well executed (albeit a little oddly) and I will remain a dedicated fan of the series. I hope to hear what other players also thought about the ending aswell, because I tend to sometimes over-analyse everything, so it's great to hear other perspectives.
  21. Thanks iGryfz, feel free to use any of the designs, that's what they're there for! Glad you liked the submission! Wow, thanks you so much A J YUSI, I'm so thrilled to have THFE actually like this, it means a lot. As for the more shmeefs, I hope to creating another gallery soon with more original ideas! Thanks a lot Spades N AZ, I'm very happy that you enjoyed the original designs!
  22. Hey 343iCF, I'm here to bring you all my content for the recently-unveiled "Shmeef" project that THFE has invented. Originally I wanted to feature my Shmeefs in some of my maps, however, I could never find a good spot to do so, therefore instead I created a mini-museum/gallery to showcase all my Shmeef designs. In this gallery you can find a new variety of Shmeefs, varying from Left 4 Dead parodies to those from Gears of War and many, many others. I want to tell all forgers that they can feel free to use the designs I have shown in the video and any other kind of variation that they can come up with, since that is the purpose of the video. If this interests you, please check out the below video to see all of my Shmeef creations (so far), thanks for your time!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhN1NSvzYlg I just wanted to mention that this is my attempt at helping THFE popularize the "Shmeef" concept and I really hope it catches on as it is a fun as easy concept to forge. **As a message to any THFE members, if you chose to feature this, could you please mention my channel (youtube.com/OnlineKnights) thanks a lot and good luck with the Shmeefs!**
  23. Awesome, thanks a lot Oakley. I know you haven't had a chance to look at it in forge yet, but do you think this has enough potential for an aesthetic feature?
  24. Hey guys, just thought that it would be a good time to post my now-completed flood map; "Emerald Mine". Gamertag: Robius5991 Map: Emerald Mine (In my fileshare) Gametype: Flood Mode (Not the regular flood, the gametype's in my fileshare) Description: When a group of soldiers no longer have anywhere else to hide, they evacuate to an old UNSC mining facility that was once used to gather the largely-present resource of emerald, found both in the stones and underground. However, once they lock the side-tunnel and blow the main gate, two Flood-forms still manage to enter. The soldiers must now use the facility and its large array of machines as cover while they battle the Flood. Luckily for them, as UNSC protocol states, there are turret stations present which may allow for an added defense against the Flood, although they must beware that they are heat-seeking and will attack any moving object. Recommended Players: 8-16 players Here's a video review for the map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Biuo4t1EFjQ Feel free to check this link to see a similar thread, dedicated to the aesthetics of this map, as have been submitted to THFE: http://www.343indust...ining-machines/ Map Aesthetics Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnS5JpINT6I 1st place Winner of Insanmiac's "Best of the Dead" contest (6:32): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgHli4SNGdA Ducain23's Feature of the map. **Just wanted to ask that if you did chose to feature to please mention my channel (youtube.com/OnlineKnights) thanks!** And at the bottom there is a picture: Thanks for your time and I hope that you all enjoy the map!
