The quality can be adjusted, but don't expect to get AMAZING SD quality, it gives you decent-good quality video depending on the settings you use. Pinnacle Studios(editing software), like stated above, is glitchy however it does have a save feature that allows you to restore your previous project in case of a crash... however this only works about half the time. It is an easy to use software but lacks multi-layer support. Be cautious. This software is good for pretty much ONLY (my opinion) capturing videos and Trimming them. The capture device itself is good, but just be aware that the device is not compatible with any other editing studios or programs that have the capability to capture from a device. NOTE: If you use Sony Vegas, you can not use this device to capture your videos. You MUST use the software provided. Mayhem slowly climbs to his feet and gains stability, "wow, how long was I out I wonder..." He checks the time in his helmet HUD... 1327hrs. "20 minutes.. wow...that long?" Everything except the Motion sensor in Mayhem's HUD had worked properly, the motion detector did not display correctly for sometime, so he grew use to reacting upon instinct. It had busted 2 missions prior but the armory had no replacements... until... As Mayhem again begins walking to the ring the radio sounds again, "Mayhem, do you copy?" "Mayhem Here, Over" "Please report to the armory, we have your new HUD device" The Technician from the armory replied. "I'll be right over, gotta get something to re-hydrate." Mayhem replied.

Don't want to sound mean or anything, but $20 won't buy you a capture card.... Unless you find one dead cheap on eBay. Cheapest you will find a(decent) capture card is around $60.... And that's the dazzle DVD recorder. You can get one with a cheap video editor for around $65-70. Warning this capture card is NOT HD. I say skip that though and invest that extra $20 in either a Roxio $85, or a haupaugge HD PVR $200. (thank you Donut for telling me about Roxio) Btw I am going to try to create a Capture card buyers guide topic with a rundown of some of the good ones and ratings for em.

Point 3 = win. If there is a tie, the map used should be the one no one voted for. Kinda like in Mario party(can't remember which number), when you got to choose which mini game you wanted to play and if the votes were split then then it would choose the game that had no votes received or the lowest amount of votes.
