Ask The Director 2.0

Recommended Posts

If you could meet 3 people on this forum in real life who would they be?

RSR, Twam, and GSD.

What's the background behind your username?

Well, when I first joined the forum my username was the same as my gamertag. Then I wanted to customize my profile more to my liking but most of the RvB usernames were already taken. I wanted to have an RvB username because I am a big fan of the series and wanted to show my support.

So I decided to go with a name that isn't as common as most (like Church or York) but still has a vital role in the story. I first chose The Chairman, but that character had no pictures and was not featured in anything but voice during RvB. So I chose The Director, and that has been my username (except when unwillingly changed for comedic effect) since.

Interesting. Why did Member of the Month get added to this forum?

Essentially to motivate members to go out of their way to contribute to the community and to reward those who do. It was thought up by Spectral Jester In August of 2011.

Who is your favourite video game protagonist?

Link.

Thanks for the all information, Director... What's your favorite Halo?

Halo 2

Do you got the power?

What do you think is better ( long term ) for Tamriel and the fight against the Thalmor?

The Stormcloaks or the Empire? :)

In the long run I think that going with the Empire would be best.

The Stormcloaks may very well be able to maintain their hold on Skyrim, but it is unlikely that they would be able to maintain their defenses while simultaneously striking back at the Thalmor. Skyrim is but one of many nations in Tamriel. The Empire has to lick it's wounds, but will eventually regain it's footing and when a new administration arrives that is less tolerant to the Thalmor arrives they will be in a much better position to fight against the Thalmor than the Stormcloaks would.

Even with the Thalmor restrictions, the Empire has far more troops and holdings than the Stormcloaks would be able to ever achieve. Meaning they would be the best choice to rid Tamriel of the Thalmor.

Is Pi π really infinite?

Yes. It's an irrational number and thereby cannot be precisely defined as the ratio of any two whole numbers. Thus, its decimal expansion has no pattern and is infinite.

How did you become a moderator?

I was chosen by the upper staff members and was asked. Then I said yes.

What is the difference between Wealth and Profit? :)

Might as well ask what the difference is between a wooden chair and a tree.

Profit is a financial gain, especially the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying, operating, or producing something.

Wealth is having an abundance of material possessions.

Profit leads to wealth, but one can have wealth without having ever made a profit off of something (i.e. inheritance)

Two questions for you....

Gray mane or Battle born?

Can I ask more than one question..... :D

Only one way to find out.

Yes you can ask more than one question, and I'd have to go with Gray Mane. Even though I'm a supporter of the Imperials, the Battle Born have proven themselves dishonorable in my eyes. The Gray Manes, despite the fact that they are naive, do not condone the kidnapping of other family members for political gain.

Who gave you the nickname 'firebeard'?

A couple of my friends did. See, the hair on the rest of my body is black or dark brown but my beard is red at first glance. When examined closely, it actually has every type of natural hair color in it.

With the color of my beard versus the rest of my hair, my friend said it was as if my chin was on fire and then one of my other friends dubbed me firebeard. It is the only nickname I've allowed people to call me.

Here's a riddle to answer.

You are trapped in a small room, the room is plain nothing in it besides a single light bulb that illuminates the small room brightly and a small desk chair with wheels, the room has two connecting doors, one on each side of the room. One door opens to a maze of mirrors that would be impossible to navigate in the darkness. The other door opens to a room with a giant magnifying glass pointing in a straight direction, it's portable but very heavy for you to carry. Only one door can open at a time and you are slowly running out of light, darkness is growing fast. How do you get out?
