Combat Knife

Hi everyone. My first post. I was wondering about the combat knife? I saw specs on the old knife (and images). The "new knife" seems much different but there are no specs on it. The image of the new knife is on the game in the "stances" menu. I haven't found any references to the this new design.

I haven't really played any campaign past the first few levels but I wasn't aware there was a knife you could use in the game. Seems pointless anyway since it wouldn't ever be as good as the sword

Okay, this thread is confusing. I'm assuming you mean the assassination combat knife. If so, I have no idea on the specs.

In Halo 1 there was planned to be a machete but it got cut. That would be cool wouldnt it?

I think a machete would feel weird in a halo game.

My question is... What are these knives made of? Supposedly the Covenant ships are bulletproof, but we see Master Chief (rather easily I might add) stab his knife into a Lich to keep from falling off. You'd think your average metal would snap like a twig.
