1. The Meridian Pipeworks is a BTB vehicle and infantry focused map. Power Weapons on Map: x1 of each, Sniper Rifle, Saw, Spartan Laser, Rocket Luancher. 2x Mantis, 4x Warthog. Power ups x1 each, speed boost, damage boost, active camo, over shield (note I might scrap power ups on map). Where's the pics for My map?
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GAdkv48GdY This military base is a safe hold and training ground for Spartans. This map is located on a distant arctic planet with perilous drop offs that only the most daring Spartans dare to reside here. There is two bases and towers wrapping around a yard full of bunkers. The rockets in the center are easily combated with alternating damage boost and oversheilds in opposite towers. Master Chief had a short stay on his way to Earth after destroying the first Halo ring. He left a present in the wings of the map for future Spartans, but the recipients must be frugal as there is only one clip left. Training on this map is set up for both Slayer and Capture the Flag. It will hold between 2-8 players, but is best for 2v2. Are you up for the challenge? Can you stay aware of your surroundings? Or, will you succumb to the perils of The Ice Pick... Players: 2-8 (ideal for 2v2 and 3v3) Gametypes: Slayer and CTF Weapons: Rocket Launcher, DMR Battle Rifle, SMG, H1 Pistol, Storm Rifle, Suppressor Grenades: Plasma, frag, Splinter Power ups: Overshield, Damage boost (They spawn on opposite towers a minute apart. Overshield spawns first on the red tower.) Canvas: Glacier I need to edit the post so the images show up. How do I do that?

6. Hi, New to this so please forgive any newbie mistakes. My kids and I love playing Capture the Flag in Halo:CE, MCC. Today since the last update, it only slects teams as a 3 versus 1. It used to assign us randomly as 2 vs 2. Is this due to the update or am I missing something? Was working fine about a week ago. Thank you!

8. With oxygen becoming a scarce resource, this facility was designed to harness the power of the trees. This is a large, very fun and symmetrical arena-style map. There are 2 identical bases, man cannons for vertical travel, snipers on each base, rockets, an Energy Sword, and a few random drops. Oh, and the top level of the map is a greenhouse. It is recommended that 6-16 players play this map. It supports Infinity Slayer and Capture the Flag. Other game modes may be added. Or man the turret and protect your base. Enemies may be lurking in the distance.. After all, your flag is vulnerable. The best option, however, would be to reach higher ground by way of the man cannon. Or through your base.. Where you can stalk your enemies. Or duke it out in the Greenhouse upstairs. And reach your ultimate reward. 9. Map Name: PRESSURIZED by MiCkEy O rOuRkE Game-types supported : FFA slayer, oddball, 4 team ctf + koth + slayer Amount of players : 6-8 players http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVK70c9yRcg DOWNLOAD HERE: http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/filebrowser/details/a88d0405-cd67-475d-ae7c-ef5f2c8c9f23 Description: This is a medium sized map which works well for capture the flag and slayer, but also other game-types. Rapid close quarters combat with some great lines of fire from the high platforms, has great little jump spots to surprise foes and get to objectives. Its a symmetrical map like a reflection. My map got reviewed by a machinima affiliate GAME OVER STUDIOS back in November, I had 650 DOWNLOADS on my original file on my file-share when the episode was aired but I tweaked the spawn points and power weapons to make it flow better for competitive play so its been reset to zero. The red base and blue base are mirrored images of each other. The quickest way to move between each base is through the middle walkway. The red and blue team spawns are under the pipes where the light is. There is also a man cannon on top of red and blue base which throws the player on top of the green base. The blue and red flags are located above the spawn which can be accessed fro the ramp at the back of the base or by using the jumpspot from the top of the 1x1 block. The green spawn points are on top of the green base and the green flag is located on the ground floor in front of the base. There is lots of cover on top of the base if the red or blue team want to use the man cannon and then move through cover around this side of the map. Through the shield door is a teleporter which connects to the teleporter above the gold base. In the gold base the spawns are against the wall behind the pipe which leads up to the gold teleporter. The gold flag is located behind the pipe which slopes down then up again which players can use to run up to the upper middle section of the map. There are also gravity lifts at the corners where the blue base meets the gold base and the red base meets the gold base which leads up to the sniper rifle spawns. I have timed how long each spawn takes to get to these. The green team can use the teleporter to rush the sniper spawn as well. There is a scattershot located at the middle of the map which is equidistant from each spawn and on the opposite side of the middle area there is an oddball spawn. On the upper platform there is a random ordnance drop with power weapons in it and there is also a oddball spawn point. This area connects to all the bases with two walkways one to the red base and one to the blue base, but there is also a ramp on either side of the green base which can also be used to get up there. I could not get a proper overview photo because the map was made inside the big room inside the erosion but here are the weapon spawn locations. They are equidistant from all spawn points. A little video run through of the map If anyone would like to help play test my map send me a friend request or if you need help play testing your own map send me a friend request/ game invite.

14. CHaTEAU-FORT v2Original CTF map by Kurosaki Tensai This UNSC training grounds is a recreationg of classic wargames that were held on Harvest, at Corbulo Academy and even at CASTLE Base on planet Reach, where the first Spartan II's got their training. It's recreation on Requiem is meant to provide new Spartan IV recruits with the best possible training. It's name is french for Stronghold, a fitting name for this fortress above the ocean. Download link: http://www.halowaypo...19-f7eaf335c1fa LAYOUT This screenshot details the various weapons and vehicles that can be found on the map: Take note that on the end of each of purple and orange rocks, you can drop into a bush, which also features a shield that will take you back to top if you so wish. You only need to jump up. I figured this is helpful for flag runs and to limit abuse of this power position. MAP DESIGN This map started out twice as big, featuring man cannons and a neutral Wraith, but it didn't feel right, and it lacked cover. I quickly decided to make a second, smaller version focusing on infantry and power positions instead. My main goal while making this map was to imagine what a UNSC CTF training grounds would look like. So I came up with a mix of buildings and natural terrain that would feature short and long sight lines, ramps, jumps and vehicles. My main concern was to provide easy access to all areas either with jumps or ramps, thus improving the flow and allowing for enjoyable flag runs and flag defense. GAMEPLAY (CTF) The teams start on opposing sides, and usually try to rush the neutral rockets top mid. The early stages of each match are centered around gaining control of the top level of the map, then it transitions into vehicle control of the mid, yellow and green routes, thus chanllenging players to be smart about the route they choose to use to get to the opposing team's flag base. I made two custom gametypes for this map, both featuring three classes that most players like to use: DMR/Mag, AR/ Mag and BR/Mag. All three use Resupply, Dexterity, frag grenades and no armor ability. The gametypes I made for this map can be found here on my fileshare: CTF CSTM http://www.halowaypo...67-d594cdb18b22 SLAYER CSTM http://www.halowaypo...0a-9360f7f23fe2 I tested the map with various MLG gametypes but they were too limiting, so I figured I'd make my own small changes. These are meant to provide player favorites and insuring skill is rewarded more than luck: No POD, friendly fire ON. Vehicles are allowed . Initial weapons drop: Sniper rifle: 2X (120s) Rockets: 2X (150s) Plasma pistol: 2X (20s) SAW: 2X (150s i believe) Boltshots: 2X (120s) Battle Rifles: 2X on each base. (30s) Frag 'nades: 2X at yellow, green window. (Not seen on these older screenshots). (30s) Initial vehicles: Mongoose: 4X (30s) Warthog: 2X (120s) Ghost: 2X (150s) SCREENSHOTS Detailed views of the Red side of the map (Anti symetrical with the blue side): The Sniper alley is large enough for vehicles to drive through (Although it is hella risky). Sniper alley to red base. (Added ramp to the right of the jump up to red base 2. See changelog below). Jump-up to top mid form red bunker. Top mid and red bunker. For more screenshots: http://www.halowaypo...alo4/fileshare# Changelog: -After a couple games with larger lobbies, I found that the map is better suited to 6v6. It still supports 16 players for BTB Slayer, but I recommand not going over 12 fot CTF. -Changed jump-ups to ramp in each of the team's base to allow easier navigation. Players responded positively -Increased the respawn timer of Warthog and Ghost. There were too much vehicles present at one time, I hope 2 minutes will help. Will need more feedback to finetune. -Made the middle part of the map even. It was not centered, thus leaving blue team more exposed than red team. Simple fix. In the same idea of evening thigs out, I made the yellow and green flat rocks smoother for the ghost and wharthog. They used to feature a ramp-like jump. Now smoother. -Added Weak kill zones on all 4 walls to prevent abuse. -Added 2 BRs in each base so players don't run out of ammo. -Changed Green and Yellow ledge layouts, added windows on ground level, added frags in this area. -Will add bushes in front of red and blue bases for aesthetics and gameplay improvements. -Have to watch budget, it's pretty tight. (Still, no framerate issues at all, even in big parties).
15. Back when Halo Reach and even Halo 3 were the top games being played, I remember that you could hop on, looking for a little chaos, and play some Big Team Battle. My favorite part about this is that it wouldn't just be Slayer. There was CTF, Assault, and Slayer. My favorite by far was CTF. That was the best. Especially on Valhalla in Halo 3. I want to relive those moments in this game. So please 343, put in Big Team Battle not Big Team Infinity Slayer. You can probably keep both playlists if you want. The best would probably be just a playlist dedicated to CTF, Assault, and Oddball (that would be hectic). My friends usually reminisce about Reach and all of the fun we had, loading up in a warthog and storming the enemy base for their flag and trying to leave without being killed. It was so fun and would make Halo 4 a thousand times better if it was put in. Thank you for reading this and I hope you take this into consideration if you make any updates to matchmaking. Keep up the great work, Sam
16. Before I delve into my gripes about Halo 4, I have to say, this game is awesome. I love it. I just see many limitations especially as time progresses. I want this game to be successful so these are just my thoughts/changes wanted. 1.) Big Team Battles. Ok so this may be my biggest issue overall. The main thing I used to play were Big Team Battles, and now that we only have Slayer, it's very depressing and gets boring. I desperately want Big Team CTF, I poured hours into that game mode in the past and now that we don't have it, I find myself getting annoyed/bored already. My fix would be to imsply implement these game modes, I don't see this being an issue at all really. 2.) Weapons. Now my problems here aren't the weapons implemented into the game, overall, I have no problems with the weapons themselves. My problem is with the weapons on the maps, or the lack there-of. There aren't even pistols available. Very few grenades. Overall, I just feel no variations on the battlefield from one battle to another, which is what made Halo famous. I see two-possible options here. More ordinances but reduce the lickliness of power-weapons. Or, simply place weapons on the map. 3.) Warthogs. Arguably the most faous vehicle within the series and it's ignored in every game I have yet to enter. I think the issue is just the lack of armor. A couple DMR's rip into the 'Hog which really shuld be the case. 4.) Forge/File Sharing. I'm not sure what the issue is here but when you look for any files; whether it be videos or custom maps, nothing shows up when you search or go to a section like "Most Downloaded." 5.) Custom Games. We should be able to search for custom games that players are currently playing. Just make the games unranked. I just think this would be a fun way to variate the game, practice, and see what creations other players have done. Just moy thoughts towards the game. Let me know what your's are.
