  1. With the ongoing PC issues plaguing Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady has provided an update on one upcoming patch which will fix a few major bugs. Batman: Arkham Knight, the final chapter in the franchise created by Rocksteady, recently released on current generation consoles and PC, with the PC version hosting a plethora of massive issues forcing the game to be pulled from Steam entirely. Since then, Rocksteady reports through IGN.com that they have been working hard to patch the game and are making great progress. They revealed an interim patch will be releasing within the next two weeks if all goes according to plan, and that it is currently being tested. A representative stated, "We are happy to confirm that we are now putting the first interim patch into testing. If all goes well, we expect to issue the patch in the next few weeks. We’ll be sure to report back in the next two weeks on how the testing is coming along." The update will include performance fixes, enhanced game settings, etc. The full list of fixes can be read in the article linked above, but it is unlikely this will be the final patch considering Rocksteady's list of other lower priority issues. Batman: Arkham Knight is available for purchase now on Xbox One and PS4, and can still be bought physically for PC. 2. You may or may not be aware that Halo Wars is being considered for the backwards compatibility program(incase you don't know what this is go here and vote Halo Wars, and any other games you might want) and is doing surprisingly well at keeping on the first page; amassing over 28 thousand votes. Judging by the comments I've read most of the people who want it accepted no longer have an xbox 360, and since there are no RTS games for the one they are in dire need for it. Due to the high demand(compared to other console RTS games), and if it stays on the first page, it is guaranteed to be accepted. Thanks to a complete lack of competition from other RTS games on the one(there isn't any) this means there will be a massive influx of old and new players alike, and when backwards compatibility becomes available to everyone outside the preview program there will be an even bigger increase in players. I believe that with the new players there should be a new patch, or at least a patch some time afterwards, and with more people playing it gets easier and easier for 343i to be persuaded to do some changes; or even better start working on a HW2. Before all this happens though we need to sit down and discuss what changes need to be made, and then submit them to 343i. This is quite difficult because the community is essentially nonexistent; scattered and divided or simply not interested in HW anymore. You have casual players that still hop on every now and then, but they seldom care for a game they hardly play and are unlikely to discuss changes to it on the internet, via forums or whatever. At the other end you have the closed, tight-knit high level community who have basically given up hope of any changes, and again are unlikely to discuss any changes. Most stay in contact with each other through XBL or even have their team mates on their phones, facebook, whatever. Some top players will give their ideas when asked though. The very few of us that love this game, and are willing to reach a consensus on what needs changing, need to do so right around now or at least start. Personally I'd like 343i to focus on fixing the plethora of glitches present in the game; arby rage glitch, chieftain vortex glitch, canny glitch, vampire stasis glitch, undead banshee glitch, sniper tower/energy wall glitch. It would also be a good idea to have a go at improving the pathfinding too. Combined these fixes will completely change the way the game is played. A new Halo Wars for a new generation.
  3. DICE has publicly announced that they are delaying a long needed patch on the Xbox One, for their hit game Battlefield 4. Battlefield 4's initial launch wasn't the most seamless, and with a history of bad releases behind them, EA needed to step up their game and fix the broken launch as soon as possible, employing DICE to do the work. Today DICE has announced on Battlefield.com that an update previously coming to Xbox One on March 25th would be pushed back to an unconfirmed later date. Whether this is a few days, a week, or a month, we're not certain. View attachment: battlefield-4.jpg Since the update was released on other platforms, it was apparently supposed to fix stability and crashing, two major issues harped upon by critics and players, and adjust weapons and unlocks in-game. Considering no more information is available on what specifically the Xbox One update had in store, or when it will be released, we are still stuck in the dark as to whether the update will even see the light for some time. View attachment: BF4.jpg This is bad news for public reception if the past with EA has shown anything, so with this what do you think of the push? Was it a good idea to get it in full shape, or do you think that the game is in dire need of a fix now, and that pushing it back was a poor move? Comment below and let me know!
  4. Firstly, apologies for sounding like a broken record as I'm sure enough this topic has been previously posted uncountable times. I have been playing the recent updated DLC playlist which I assume is aimed at those of us who are looking to gain those final few achievements that have been previously unattainable due to no DLC maps in the map rotation on matchmaking for the last few months prior to this revamped playlist. I heard that this playlist was back on so I have blitzed through the remaining achievements and have one remaining. Ashes to ashes. I've read through all of the previous forums regarding this achievement and by the sounds of things it is a common problem that this achievement just doesn't unlock. I have tried :- Incineration Cannon Binary Rifle Scattershot Pulse Grenades (including pulse grenading dead bodies) Nothing works. I've seen 343 come out and say we're trying to resolve the issue. But that is all I've heard for months. No sign of a patch. No sign of any answer. I love Halo and thus far have all achievements in all of their games. (Not including Wars and Spartan Assault) So understandably this one is driving me crazy! Is there any chance this can finally be resolved please 343? Forgot to mention... I have also tried recovering my gamertag, deleting playlists and reinstalling them, deleting the game and reinstalling it... To no avail.

  6. Hello, please repair Halo 2 Vista, Microsoft isn't doing anything. Although I dont see any 343 servers on Halo 2 vista, I bet it can still be done. Halo 2 Vista needs somne repairs because it has noticable problems. In matchmaking microphones dont work and games can spontaniously deny access. I know not alot of people play Halo 2 Vista But I think even if it isnt a top earner it should work effectively for those whom have purchased it. Also It would be awesome if the character stuff could be added to create firefight scenarios for Halo 2 Vista.
  7. Hey there everyone, first and foremost I'd just like to say THANK YOU 343industries, for (clearly) spending alot of time, resources and talent on making Halo 4 such a wonderful game. This is the first time I've used these forums but I am a long time Halo fan, I've been playing Halo since Halo: CE came out in 2001, when I was 10years old. I'm a bit of a fanboy but was pretty dissapointed in Halo Reach and I am utterly thrilled to see the direction that 343i and Halo 4 is and should be taking. And I really hope you guys get a lot of awards and praise from old fans and new, you guys deserve it. Because the game is so polished I don't really have any complaints, but here are a few suggestions I'd like to see implemented into Halo 4 and/or Halo 5. (I hope you guys check your forums like Bungie did). *Story length: I found the campaign to be a bit on the short side, I'm not too dissapointed because the story was exellent and very well paced and I know Spartan Ops continues the story somewhat. But I hope you guys make Halo 5 a little longer. *Emblems: There is not enough. *Spike Grenades: If/when Brutes make a return in Halo 5 or 6, please bring Spike Grenades back, they're unique and you can setup traps around corners with them. *Meta Game and Leaderboards for it: It would add alot of replayability if you guys added the ability to turn on the Meta Game in Spartan Ops and Campaign and maybe you could implement a friends leaderboards along with it. *Ranking System: I feel that currently, there is no ranking system, because it is only based on how much EXP you have, this is also not unique, as pretty much every modern shooter has this style. You guys should implement a secondary ranking system like Halo 3's 1 - 50. *Skulls: I was dissapointed to see that all of the Skulls are unlocked by default, it's much more fun if you have to unlock them and find them in the campaign first. *Please add clan support. *Please add theatre for Campaign and Spartan Ops. *Hunters should be twice the size and much more powerful, once you kill the first one and break the spirit bond the other should fly into an overwhelming rage. *Pre-order bonuses/Collector's edition: I don't like when companies have pre-order bonuses because it just means everyone misses out on something. Please don't do pre-order bonuses again, or atleast include all of them in the Collector's Edition. *Legendary Edition: I was dissapointed you guys didn't have one, please make one for Halo 5 and if you do you shouldn't just throw in a statue, do something like a suicidal grunt holding a bomb which is an alarm clock. Cheers.
  8. We all know it's overpowered so why isn't it patched already? Stop saying it's fair. All players use it, only because it's too strong. "Yeah, you just suck." No, i barely get killed but this gun is just a joke. I get tons of kills without it and most of my deaths are due to this op gun that kills me out of nowhere from miles away. All those who believe it's fair use it and don't get kills any other way, so don't even dare annoying me. boltshot
  9. Hey there, I don't know if 343 regularly checks these forums but I'm trying to give constructive feedback for them because I think they did a great job on Halo 4 but it could be even better. -The Meta Game: Currently there isn't that much of a reason to replay Spartan Ops after doing Legendary other than commendations. If you added the ability to turn on the Meta game in Spartan Ops and Campaign, and also added a leaderboard, this would create more of a buzz around Spartan Ops and we could compete for high scores. -Spartan Ops Special Episodes: I was thinking that maybe you could incorporate Red vs Blue into Spartan Ops for special episodes/seasons (like a Christmas special) where players play as new recruits into Blue and Red team, having a unique mission to complete and are instructed by Caboose and Church etc. Here is an example of a mission they could do - There is a giant Grunt that is filled with too much methane gas and the Prometheans are trying to kill it because it shouldn't be there, worst of all Serge just bought a brand new Mantis and if the Grunt blows up the Mantis' wax finish will be ruined, so highjinks ensue. You could string these specials together to create a bonus mini series within Spartan Ops. -TrueSkill Ranks: I heard you guys are implementing TrueSkill, please have them be based on wins/losses, kills/deaths and bring back hit ratio's which could also contribute to rank progression. Have them be symbols not numbers, and display them next to the player's SR number rank. -Clan Support: You could have a Clan section in the roster menu, where you can start a clan, accept/decline clan invites, send out invitations and there could be a Clan Kudos system where the clan gains Kudos for playing in a full party of clan members or completing daily/weekly/monthly clan challenges. -Playlist Refinement: At the moment there too many playlists and no variety within each one. Create a 'Team Objective' playlist combining King of the Hill, CTF, Dominion and Oddball. You could also bring back game varients for each, such as One Flag. -DMR: Slightly lower the fire rate. Currently it's a bit OP. I would really love 343 to make these additions. I think old and new players would aswell. Please respond to this topic 343 and/or forum moderators so I know that topics like this are actually read and worth doing.
  10. Dear, 343 Industries, The weapons in multiplayer / matchmaking are completely unbalanced. Every weapon in Halo 4 should be even in damage so that it takes skill to kill another player, not because he/she has a better gun. Some of the weapons are so unbalanced and under powered that you can't even kill anyone with them. I've shot players four times point blank with the scatter gun as well as the shotgun and they would still have their shield up would then turn around and killed me with a DMR. So, 343 Industries, what I am asking of you is will you please review the weapons damage and make them EVEN? Some of the weapons are very weak and under powered. Thank you so much for your time. <3

  13. Now we all have at one time another raged over another player over using an armor abilities at some point or another. I personally hate how armor lock is so easily exploited, being able to enter and exit quickly, on top of that it just slows the game down a bunch of guy huddled around someone who is we all know is doomed, and I know I'm not alone and for this I've come up with a simple solution and that being that the Plasma Pistol E,M.P blast to disable most of the Armor Abilities, (Almost being all but sprint and evade). Really this would only effect Jetpack and Armor Lock, but come on who wouldn't want to see that guy with the rockets and the Jetpack get emp and fail out of the sky. It would also make Elite Slayer a bit more interesting being, in my experience, only amounting to throwing a sticky and going into armor lock. It's also worth mentioning that this change would make Armor Abilities pointless as unless you're playing the aforementioned Elite Slayer plasma pistols are often scattered around the map already adding a short of balance if this change is implemented.
