  1. Hillo all, Azaxx here. This thread is about what you guys and girls have thought about the recent playlist; Community Forge Test. I honestly think that most maps are pretty much perfect. Though the map I believe called Despair is definitely the worst map by far. Incredibly one sided and poorly spawned. The centre section is poorly made for KoTH and the map is easily taken over by one team. Every time I have played on this map I've lost, and by a considerable amount. Although I am a good player and do have off matches every now and again. A loss of 40 kills for infinity slayer is just embarrassing and pathetic especially when you get the most kills on the team with 6. It only needs spawn work and less power weapons, and this map could become incredibly fun. But atm, it's terrible IMO. With that said, the remake of Blackout (shutout), Scythe and Simplex are superb maps. The spawning I found was perfect. The maps are easy to traverse and the weapons found on the maps aren't overpowering when one team gets most of them. I do like how they implemented a few different gametypes into the playlist, SWAT, Infinity Slayer, CTF and KoTH (may be more, but I've never seen them). This should be making KoTH fans happy, how they lost the standalone playlist a while back. Personally I think SWAT of Scythe has to be the best combination. The ease of moving and clear Line of Sight makes this a perfect map for it, and all 3 SWAT weapons. Magnum being my favourite for this map getting a nice 33-8 once. Though that was dwarfed by my game in Simplex going 44-18 . That sums up my opinion, so to all who have played it. What do you think of it?
  2. I believe on the dashboard when you go to game library, there is an option on the H4 cover to install. Not sure if that's the exact place. But I've done it.
  3. I suggest a GeForce 660 or above, though the 690 is way too expensive even though it's amazing. For the CPU, a Intel i5 and i7 work fine. AD AMD has some good option but I can't name some sadly. For a sound system I have "creative soundblast" and it's good, or having a good headset. Have around 8-10Gb of RAM is good for a fast running PC. Try having a SSD for the Operating System and essentials. While having a 1-3Tb HDD for program's and downloads. Have a good cooling system too, to keep it from melting your components. For a monitor get a LED screen. Just to make use of the good graphics card. And last but not least, Windows Vista
  4. I calculate costs of a few things for upgrading my PC.....immediately hit $1000. And I'm not even done yet..

My matches are never close Rocket XD.

Always a heap of kills or flag scores separating the teams.

    Tips for improve

Really depends on your play style. I myself prefer to hang back to snipe from afar, or go in a vehicle to get kills to clear the way for CQC type players. If you're a close player, I would think having a Assault Rifle with a Magnum in your primary load-out, with that have a plasma grenade and Promethean vision. You're be a danger to all CQC players with that load-out. because of the ease to spot close opposition. For medium have a Assault Rifle and Battle Rifle, OR Carbine with Battle Rifle. I'd use a frag grenade and a regeneration field or thruster pack with it. Try and stay in corridors with those load-outs because of the damage you'll deal with a quick frag and a BR/Carbine shot. The AR is useful to do damage if someone gets too close for comfort. For long distance play styles (which I mainly am) use a DMR and BR, OR a DMR with Light Rifle combo. With that, you'll destroy players from across the map as the DMR and LR are very powerful the further they get from the opposition. Also try use active camo for protection from people with snipers. I don't recommend doing the play style of jump everywhere. Not only doesn't it work that well, because of aim. It wastes time if you keep hitting your head against the ceiling, invalidating the point of jumping. I do though recommend strafing left to right a good portion of the time. Of course you don't really need to when you're far, but up close it's a must. Also, if you are a vehicle user, try and use the bigger machines. (ie) the Wraith, Scorpion, Banshee and Mantis. And even the Guass Hog. These will boost your score in the end. Though some may not be the greatest of using these at the start, with a matter of time you'll be getting frenzies with them. Finally have a back up load-out. Something that you can depend on when your main style isn't working. Example. When my DMR/BR combo doesn't work (which it almost always does) I tend to use my LR and plasma pistol combo. Easy to get kills medium-close with that combo. And it destroys vehicles too. Hope this helps!
  9. Why is over powered? You haven't explained at all why it should be. And that goes with the pulse grenade also. If you want to make an argument, you should really back it up with support. Otherwise I can simply say, no it shouldn't.

    3. Caboose The Ace
  15. Rise of the Spartans. Minuette, it's no where near over rated. By far one of the best Halo Machinima out there.
  16. Didact is the only one accounted for. There probably is survivors in Dyson spheres. But no names are given. Librarian is dead. 99.9999999999999% of all Forerunners are dead. The Forerunners were weak when we beat them. And when they battled the flood, they were a MASSIVE empire covering a huge amount of the galaxy. Didact had Requiem and that's about it.
  17. First of all. Mind your language, not appropriate at all. Secondly the game was too big to put on one disk, so putting a installation disc is by far the smartest thing to do. If you're too ignorant to realise that, that's no one elses fault 'cept your own. As for the CoD references. I'm not even bothering with you there.
  18. Like two days for the first 2.
  19. Humans never defeated an entire Forerunner empire at its greatest. Forerunners were so hurt after the war with the humans so were overwhelmed by the Flood. Note the Flood took 90% of the Forerunners fleet at the time of the Halo activation. Prometheans were destroyed by gun fire, Flood can use weapons. So bang bang bang, *dead knight* The Didact was the only Forerunner left. Compared to the trillions before the Ring Activation. We had an entire empire. So that answers your questions.
