  1. I have to admit, I'm very interested in what kind of direction the developers will go with putting Washington as a king. If done right, it can turn out to be a very intriguing plot element, but I truly hope it won't have anything to do with him wanting to take over the world. Though naturally it would depend on his reasons for doing so, whether they are reasonable or not. I'm skeptical over how they'll execute it, but I do admit I'm excited. Can't wait.
  2. I'm guessing this is the redesigned Elephant that appears in Halo 4. Whether it appears in MM or Forge, or if it's even drivable, no clue.
  3. ^Another reason to vote for Vplus is that he is confident on his abilities. Voted.
  4. Congrats, Rap! It's quite something to get a job, especially in times like these. And now that you have a job, you'd better flip some awesome burgers while you're at it.
  5. Congrats for turning purple, Darkness! I'll try to be right behind you.
  6. I must say Halo 3. While I have more game time on Reach, and enjoyed the gameplay more, it's ultimately all the fond memories I have with Halo 3 that makes it my personal favorite.
  7. Bollocks! Change of plans then. Anyway, agreed with everything you took up. But from my short experience here, this is quite a mature forum, and I rarely see lots of spam posts here (the mods must be quite good at their job).
  8. Congratz is in order, I bet! Enjoy being a MoM... while you still can!
  9. My prayers has been answered! If it turns out to be a "Battlefront clone" that is.
  10. Well if the presidential debates are available here in Finland (don't see why they wouldn't') I'll certainly be watching it, even if I don't get a shiny avatar for it.
  11. Suddenly got the urge to give you a cold one... Nah, I jest. Welcome to the forums! Hope that you'll stay.

    Same lines?

Maybe, though it depends on the execution. If done poorly, it turns into another generic side-story that has been done a hundreds times before.
  13. So I did a bit of researching and from what I found, the prequel to The Thursday War, Glasslands, has gotten quite the poor reviews from fans. So have anyone here on the forum read Glasslands, would you recommend it?
  14. Considering that Captain America has a reaction speed of 5,555556 m/s (with an average human having 0,18 m/s, if I remember correctly), while Chief has a reaction of 52 m/s if my calculations are right (sounds a bit improbable though), it's indeed true that Chief would have the advantage, and with quite a margin as well. I must have missed that point. I'm pretty certain Cap's shield would prove to be able to penetrate Chief's armor and neck, though it would take a few hits to achieve that. With the aid from a piece of the Dreadnought vessel that the used as a heat shield. And his armor was as well in a 'lockdown' state, which suppressed the impact damage. And Cap's shield is more denser than's Chief's titanium alloy, so I doubt he would have a problem against Chief's armor. Maybe, maybe not. Though I don't see Chief having any considerable weaknesses, at least none that would turn out for Cap's advantage.
  15. Sounds interesting! Reading a novel before the official game release might be a good idea to get the mind obsessed on something else than Halo 4 for awhile. Gonna buy the first one as soon as possible.
  16. If I have money at the time, I'll probably get the Strategy Guide. Not that I really need a guide for Halo, but simply so I can have something fun to read about at night.
  17. Depends entirely on what you personally prefer. It's mostly subjective. However, if we want to be objective, then that is another matter...
  18. Hey, whether it is a game / movie / novel where the term "history" has quite the major involvement, you're bound to see me appear in the thread.
  19. Congratulations on you achieving 'Trusted Member', Rob! Hope to see you post more! And I have to say, you seem to have a talent for making Forge maps. At least in comparions to me!
  20. Hmm, let's see here: Master Chief Possesses great physical proportions, great strength and 300% increased reflexes Has heightened memory, intelligence and creativity Better eye sight and perception 15x stronger skeleton Muscle increase Lactase recovery growth Experienced in military combat And since he possesses the Mark VI Mjolnir armor: Weights 1000lbs Motion tracker Brain-linked reactive circuits Titanium alloy plating Resistant to heat Energy shields Force Multiplying circuits Captain America "Perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning Everything from strength to intelligence is at the zenith of natural human potential Resistant to poison / toxic Expert tactician and an excellent field commander Expert in combat strategy, survival, acrobatics, military strategy, piloting, and demolitions Has blended judo, western boxing, kickboxing, and gymnastics into his own unique fighting style Master of multiple martial arts Is regarded as one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel Universe, limited only by his human physique Uses a near-indestructible shield made from an experimental alloy of steel and the fictional vibranium and is extremely accurate with it. Wears an uniform that is made of a fire-retardant material, and wears a lightweight, bulletproof "duralumin" scale armor beneath his uniform for added protection. So in conclusion, I would say that Captain America beats Master Chief in hand-to-hand combat. But thanks to Chief's superhuman abilities and armor, with Captain America in comparison only possessing the peak of human potential and a special light armor -- the ultimate winner is Master Chief!
  21. VGChartz states otherwise. Unless you meant globally.
  22. You traitor! Just kidding, I like this one as well. Much more creative.

    PRE ORDERS

Tried to get LE from Gamestop, but was sadly sold out, so got it from Konsolinet. Our local games store.
  24. Hmm, I just remember I haven't voted yet. Well Vplus2 seems to be a very confident man who can bring some level of a political discourse around here. So in short, I believe in Harvey Dent Vplus.
