  1. Hello and welcome to 343i community forums.
  2. I don't know why it's a big deal? The deaths and kills don't count. Let you know that.
  3. I found this while browsing my news feed on facebook. Source: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/11/28/destiny-story-details-concept-art-leaked Leaked materials provided to IGN by a reader have revealed story details and concept art from Destiny, Bungie’s follow-up to the Halo franchise. Bungie has confirmed to IGN that the document was prepared by an advertising agency and represents an outside look at Destiny’s plot, key values and more. According to the document, “Our story begins seven hundred years from now in the Last City on Earth, in a Solar System littered with the ruins of man’s Golden Age. A massive, mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second Moon. No one knows where it came from or what it’s here for, but only that it’s our protector. Meanwhile, strange, alien monsters creep in from the edge of the universe, determined to take Earth and the Last City. We are young ‘knights’ tasked with defending the remains of humanity, discovering the source of these monsters and – eventually – overcoming it.” Elsewhere in the document, the massive alien ship is referred to as “the Traveler.” Destiny is further described as “fun and accessible to all,” aiming “to create a universe as deep, tangible and relatable as that of the Star Wars franchise.” Based on the language in the document, it appears that Bungie aims to create a universe accessible to multiple demographics, perhaps suggesting that Destiny will be less mature than Bungie’s efforts with Halo. A quote from Bungie co-founder Jason Jones says “Destiny is designed for your inner seven year old. We want to make it feel like a mythic adventure.” Destiny’s gameplay is described by the document as “social at its core,” offering “a world to explore with friends, both old and new.” It’s unclear whether this confirms comments from Bungie in 2011 that the game is an MMO, which Bungie later called a joke. The document also includes a Destiny logo along with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 icons, as well as the URL Destiny.com. It’s worth noting that while Destiny.com is currently password-protected, if it is indeed a URL that’s been purchased by Bungie, it could suggest that Destiny will indeed be the game’s final name rather than a codename as previously speculated. We reached out to Bungie regarding the information and received the following statement: “We’re not quite ready to take the wraps off our next universe, but in light of recent events we thought we’d give fans something a little more official over at Bungie.net. Feel free to drop by and say hello! There’s much more to come.” The document includes several other pieces of concept art, seen below: The name Destiny first emerged in May when court documents revealed details on four games in the series. At the time, installments in the Destiny series were revealed to be coming in fall 2013, fall 2015, fall 2017 and fall 2019. In 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020, downloadable expansions known as “Comet” were also said to be planned. The contract suggested the first Destiny game would be available first on Xbox 360 as well as “the next successor console platform released by Microsoft,” which the contract referred to as Xbox 720. Releases on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC were said to be planned in the years following, though today's information suggests and more closely timed release could be a possibility.

  7. Everyone on this forum makes this forum what it is, you are all amazing. Keep our site alive and keep being who you are. Love you all!

  8. What they need to do with ordnance drops is this, in my opinion: You only get one Ordnance Drop a match + it takes '7' kills to earn one, or you die and it resets, must get 7 kills in a row. I mean, that would be better wouldn't it? Ordnance can be very annoying at times.
  9. I rather have the Hornet, than the Falcon. Idk if that is just me though. I just find that UNSC aircraft the best one.
  10. Spartan Ops. Why this? Oh well let me get to it. Spartan Ops, in cooperative 4 player (finding matches) you get 5.9k exp rather than 2.4-2.9k in War Games. The matches in Spartan Ops are quicker as well. If you have double exp you can get around 11.9k exp per game of Spartan Ops. This is how quite a few people, including myself are nearly SR80. While doing this, you max out your commendations, which in turn adds more exp. You also get commendations for certain War Games commendations, like banshee destroyer.. and etc. Idk if that's a glitch or what but yeah. This by far, is the quickest way to rank up in Halo 4.
  11. I tend to have this happen quite a lot in infinity slayer. I don't know why but it's just, I do worse in that game mode. When I go to BTB though, it's less severe. I have a 2.4 KDR and a decent win loss. I don't know what's up with that though but, I have experienced this too.
  12. Issues I have are these and they need to be fixed in my opinion. DMR: It's a good weapon yes, but it has faster fire rate than the BR? Really? This makes the DMR over power other weapons to easily, even power weapons in some cases more so. It's fire rate needs toned down some, but not as much as to 'nerf' it to death. I love the DMR personally but I know when something needs tweaking. Ordnance: Everyone getting power weapons? It makes the game so bs at times. Everyone getting ordnance constantly and the map making more camping, less fun and have all these power weapons just breaks the game. I am guilty of calling in ordnance tons of times and just killing people.. and getting more ordnance. I think of others when saying this, they don't have fun being killed like that and honestly, it's not fun killing people with power weapons like that either. What needs to be done is when you die, reset the ordnance meter or.. you only get ordnance once per game. That's the only complaints I have and other than that, I am enjoying the game.
  13. I kinda feel the same for some aspects of the game. My complaints are the Fire rate to the DMR making it to powerful, the Ordnance in game modes. I enjoy the game a lot though. As I said, the DMR as I said and voiced my opinion in various other threads, needs slower fire rate. It fires to fast and remains accurate, I have no problem with the range or accuracy of it but the fire rate yes. It shouldn't be toned down to much or to little. The ordnance allows to much power weapons on the map and it can be some major bs sometimes. It just makes me want to quit. They should make game modes like BTB... and more that does not have this at all, or Nerf the ordnance. How? Make it where everytime you die, the ordnance resets or you can only get ordnance once a game.
  14. BR doesn't have faster fire rate than the DMR. I tested it out in customs, The DMR can beat it at any range. I tested it against various other weapons as well and concluded the DMR needs slowed down fire rate (and no people not to the level of making the DMR crap). The bloom is fine on the DMR. To an extent they can be. Of course you can beat them with these weapons when given the opportunity. What I am mostly talking about is the primary vs primary. I notice that the DMR and AR can beat power weapons more so, especially the DMR than the BR, Carbine and etc. All I saying is, DMR should have equal fire rate of that, or a bit less than the BR -- somehwere around there. The AR I don't really have a problem with honestly, if someone gets that close to a person they deserve do die that way. I have beaten AR's easily, I love the AR and the way it functions in this game but I have to admit it does pack a punch at longer ranges than previous games.
  15. I would say Wetworks. It makes you less visible to Promethean Vision, foot steps silent and you can perform quicker assassinations.
