Community Connect

Well after having the flu for the past couple of days, I've had a lot of time to sit down and think.  This of course, eventually led me to think of the community, and as I was thinking about all of you, I thought to myself we have a great community at 343i. But while we do have a lot of fun with one another, I don't think we know each other as much as we'd like to. 

 

So I got this idea, why don't we have a place, one place, where you can go and just learn more about members and hopefully find a member or multiple members that you really connect with. 

 

So here it is, the "Community Connect" thread. I really hope you partake in this with me, and hopefully we can become a closer community.

Bio: I'm from the Southeastern United States. I love spending my time with friends and family. I currently am homeschooled (11th grade) and I attend Church faithfully. I love to game, especially Halo and Star Wars. I love anything pertaining to football, with playing it being my favorite part. I like to learn, if you've got a story, I'd love to hear it. Bio: 18yo living in the South Eastern part of Victoria/Australia, in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. I practically say inside most of my time, only time I go outside is either to attend to my dogs or go to the car to travel to places, doesn't bother me though, I prefer isolation many of the times.
Currently in Year 12 studying Specialist Maths (hardest in state), Mathematics Methods (2nd hardest), Physics and standard English, in which will end soon since my final ever school day is November 13.
I do little with my spare time, I usually do the same activities if you'd call them that over and over again each day. Though have hobbies that I would want to pick up again such as Spray Art, drawing, playing the piano, playing games which I must say the ones I play I'm the best among my friendship group (no bragging intended).
I genuinely hate any form of exercise and don't participate in any form of activity, although that being said, by body is quite healthy inside and I'm not suffering from anything that would be created by lack of exercise, although I have many medical problems, oh wells.

Likes: PC gaming, Skyping friends, D&D, art, music, isolation and being on here most of the day.

Dislikes: Sport, reading, poor winners and losers, whiners and invasive people.

Bio: well living 50 miles from civilization stops me from being to social and then all I have is music hence the name jam. I have a couple of bands and I was berry athletic until I developed tendonitis at age 13 and I had to quit sports. I had played football,tennis,and wrestling.( my dad won 1st in state in the sport) In my spare time I restore classic vehicles and come here to this site. I attend church and practice hypnotherapy. Bio: My name is Al, born and raised in Serbia of Europe... (no not Siberia or Syria) for eight years, then move to California, US. I'm a usually social person that likes to crack very bad puns and hit any opportunity where I could make someone laugh... Unless its not the right time or place for it. I love to listen to transcending music like piano pieces or gentle tunes, but I do like dub step and all the other stuff too. When I'm bored, I would form stories in my mind or even wright them down in journals along with some sketching (which I'm trying to improve.) Bio : Currently in highschool, not much I like doing in my life, currently live in Sydney, Australia. The only things I enjoy doing, are as follows: Playing Xbox, chatting on this here forum, art (whether it be drawing or computer graphics design), snowboarding. From this, you can probably deduce that I'm definitely more of those 'technology' people. I despise sport on any level, other than that of snowboarding. I love the snow, and hope to move to America or Canada in the future to have more of it. With this, I also want to move there for the Game Industry, as that's what I hope to be involved in as my future career. I've had many relationships in the past, but am currently single and have given up on women until Uni. Many of you may know that the games I'm into include the Halo, Assassin's Creed and Battlefield series. Forging is (or was) a big part of my life, as I've met many great people within the Forging community. I've however lost interest for a while, in order to get on with my new Machinima that I currently am directing and producing - Forging The Future. I'd say I have great English/persuasive skills, and mostly do well in school subjects such as IST, Art, English and Science. I attend the EB Games Expo Australia every single year and love the hell out of it. I'm not at all organised in anything I don't take interest in; I kind of just wing everything and hope for the best. Bio: I've lived in Fall River for most of my life, from when I was thee months old. Before that, I was born in Hamilton, Bermuda. I've attended every single school I've been to in this city, from Elementary to Community College. So I've been here for a long time. I've never been too outgoing, and I've almost always been the outcast, mainly because I was always a little weird, and quite fat. And you know how small children LOVE to make fun of the fat kid.

 

But moving on, I've been a gamer since the first time I played a video game (Diddy Kong Racing; N64) and since then I've known that's the industry I want to work in. I'm studying Programming to start, and eventually I'd like to move into writing.

 

Truthfully, there isn't much more interesting about me. I'm kinda bland. I do a few things that other people don't usually do; Dress up in Star Wars costumes for charity, Write on an extremely regular basis, and play in a band. But other than that, I'm pretty boring. I am also what most people would classify as a "Furry" (If my Avatar didn't already give that impression.) But I must stress, that I like it as an art style, considering the things I grew up with (Rocko's Modern Life, Sonic, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, ETC.) Bio: I'm Francis Samson people call me frank sometimes. My family came from Manchester England and migrated here in the Philippines before I was even born. I am a combination of different races thanks to my father who is filipino, american, spanish and English while my mom is filipino, English and Spanish thus I don't know what I am. 
 
While growing up I was thought to speak in filipino, english and a little of spanish. I first learned how to speak with a Spanish accent then my English(Manchester) accent came to me suddenly. I decided to ditch the Spanish accent cause the english one sounds better and blends in with my voice just fine. 
 
I have a natural talent for gaming. I usually get the game's controls and story in a really small time. Growing up far away from the city made me a bit anti-social but I overcame it. 
 
I have autism and mild ADHD which I can control. I also have occasional tonsilitis so don't be surprised if I sound different the next day. My father left when I was young. I have occasional depression which leads me to do emotional stuff.

I plan to transfer to a new school after this coming semester and change to an english major. I am what many consider an athiest and to be frank I consider most religions to be inheritly evil. I love video games (if I didn't there wouldn't be much of a reason for me to be on here would there?) I especially like retro games from the 16 bit era. I'm not big on sports however I do love walking (it's also my main form of transportation).

Bio: Born in Columbus, home town of Sin City. I currently do not know if I have failed the 9th grade or not. I love reading, don't ever touch my books or I'll bite your hand off. Name: Joseph James "Taco Explosion" (or Winfree for you purists)

Bio: I'm an 18 year olden from Southeast Texas brah. I live in a crappy trailer (well it's functional, and I can't really complain. Other people have it WAY worse than I).

I just graduated from High School last Friday, and am currently getting the feels for what I want to go do for college or something. I don't have a Car, nor a Driver's Liscense (BUT I am getting my ID in the mail in a few days). I'm more or less in purgatory in my life at the moment. Just sitting around for right now. Spending my time Drawing, making Graphics, Pooping, Eating, and repeating. I do help out with the family though, but eventually I'll start to get those, "Hey kid... time to move out... or yu die..." looks from my Mom.

I excersise regularly on a day to day basis. The 1 thing I like the most about it is: You feel less crappy, and less like a Sloth. I've been attempting to eat healthier, and have been trying to go to bed as early as possible (the early bird catches the worm in the morning). I rarely ever drink Sodas, or eat Fast Food anymore, and have nearly completely dropped the proscessed food alltogether (well the Protein bars I'll let slide...). I've been playing Xbox, and games in general allot less than I used to. Don't really have the drive to do it anymore. The only thing you get is worthless Achievements, but I still do get on for Playdates and to mess around sometimes.

 

Oh I forgot... I hate most genres of music besides Metal. It seems to be the only one that fits me best. I listen to different kinds: Death, Sludge, Progressive, Post, Alternative, Heavy, Groove, Metalcore, Deathcore, Extreme, Nu, and so on. I'm not much of a socialite, but can hold my own when the situation calls for it. I've made so much progress mentally in the last few months it's unbelievable. I used to freak out around Girls, but now I can talk to them without much problem, if at all.

I plan to go get a job sometime this Summer, and need to look into the College choices...

Bio: I am 19 years old, will be 20 this year. I think it is also important to know I am tall, somewhere between 6 feet 5 inches and 6 inches. Born in Alabamer amd have lived in Cincinnati for the past 14 years. I finished my first year at the University of Cincinnati over a month ago. The major I'm studying for is Aerospace Engineering cause I like space and airplanes and stuff. I would like to work with some space company in the future such as NASA or SpaceX.

 

This is my last summer break ever after this I get to alternate between school and coop. So right now I'm just working and taking a single summer class. Quite sociable when I want to be, only drawback is that I don't start conversations well. I'm single right now...ladies. I'm part of a engineering fraternity at my college on account of me being an engineer in studying.

 

I like to do things. Those would be games, like a lot of games. I have a backlog of at least 50 of them right now and numerous ones I want to replay. All new and old ones. Big ones are Halo (big surprise), Fallout, and Assassins Creed. I collect a lot of Halo stuff. I have all the games, and assortment of memorabilia, and about 50 figures in a variety of sizes and these are all in a glass display case. I also like drawing, I passed the AP art 'test' back in High School, so I would say I'm good at it. I also like making aircraft models, not the vest but am improving. I botched an F-86 so I have to fix that. I also like golfing, played for the high school team. I like sports and my teams are the Steelers, The Reds, The Penguins, and The Bearcats seeing as I go to UC.

 

Likes: Video Game and the video game industry, Foruming (Bethesda first, here second), drawing, college, golf, my dog, making models, history, learning random stuff, music (favorites being Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, For Fighters and the likes)

 

Dislikes: Hard to answer, usually I only dislike things on the spot. I'd say I'm a pretty open minded person. One thing though is one sided arguments, I think both sides should at least get a chance (most of the time) so I sometimes make a fool of myself trying to give the other side some form of argument.

 

2 words to describe me: Open Minded

 

Goals: To work for a company involved in space, and to own a Tesla Model S or whatever is relevant at the time I can afford such a thing.
