An Interesting part from the destiny presentation at GDC was that the player will be able to choose from different races. Besides being a human there are 2 others that are selectable when customizing your character they are "Awoken and "Exo. Bungie describes the awoken as exotic, beautiful and mysterious beings and they said they look to ghosts, angels and vampires to capture the feel of this race. the Exo, which bungies describes as sinister, powerful, and tireless beings they said the looked to famous characters such as the terminator, the undead and their very own master chief to capure the feel of the Exo race.

As the humans have different classes (hunter, titan and warlock) I'm pretty sure the awoken and exo will each feature their own classes to choose from. 

 

So from the pictures and the descriptions bungie gave which race do you like best at the moment?

All three playable races look really interesting to play as. It depends on the ability to have multiple campaign play-through which race I choose first. The Awoken look to be the most interesting to me. Mysterious, powerful, and provocative. I look forward to Bungie delving deeper into their backstory.

The weapon behind the Exo really looks like the Shotgun from Reach.

I would choose Human, probably Titan right now, but maybe Exo will reveal some good stuff. I dislike the Awoken, too much pale for me (forgive me Master Ryu!).

I like the human warlock just because it's that middle class, evenly balanced sort of feel and look to it. Otherwise, I'm going to be exo, look really badass! Awaken just looks too pale and human like to it, they should look a little more alien or something.

Exo Hutner all the way people, as long as i can hurl round a Shotgun, Sniper and Pistol I'm all good

 

bungie confirmed that races are just for cosmetics and done have anything the others don't so if a human can weld a shotgun sniper and pistol so can the exo but I am not sure about classes :thumbsup:

I didnt want Exo for a bonus i like the look of em and the second part was me saying as long as i can equip those 3 guns ill be happy
