Its a nice small vehicle that is quick and easy to kill people who are on it. Pretty much what Caboose said.

Well it can be used for fast transportation of 2 soldiers, good for capture the flag, good for as J0HNL3I said hit and runs with heavy weapons, and in rare cases used as barricades or cover.

I've found it really useful in CTF. It's fast almost like a ghost without sprint, it's two-passengers, it's easy to drive. It seems a logic vehicle to me.

every match of Big Team or whatever match had the mongoose, no one uses it which doesnt help with the Mongoose Destroyer Commendation. just checked and mine is on 0/5 on Tier Zero

it seems very logical in multiplayer games like CTF, but in regards to halo fiction, i dont see much of purpose. Both players are extremely exposed and only one can fire his weapon..... which isnt even a vehicle weapon

Its a small kamikaze vehicle used to disgrace other people by splattering them in the most embarrassing ways, then driving off honking the horn as if it was the victory cry of that little kart

It's for sticking with the sticky detonator, then having a teammate drive toward the enemies and intentionally getting boarded.

The mongoose is actualy 33 living species of small carnivorans from southern Eurasia and mainland Africa of the family Herpestidae. 

 

You're supposed to care for Mongooses and keep them clean, but they don't actually serve much usage apart from entertainment.

Anyway the mongoose is really good if you have someone in the back to shoot especially if he carries heavy weapons

outside of Spartan Ops my favorite thing to use it for is Ragnarok, drift around the enemy's base with 1 or 2 of em and all I hear is "Double Kill, Triple Kill, Over Kill! etc.

If the Mongoose wasn't in Halo I would probably not play it as much as I do now: the Mongoose has got to be the legendary vehicle, well I though so when on Halo 4 I was in a mongoose with a Sniper and got a snapshot half way across the map. It is used for carrying personal supplies and other Spartan team-mates across the virtual battlefield.

Mongoose is a really fast vehicule that is effective when the driver know how to drive and the passenger got a powerful gun. The problem of this vehicule is that it receive on bullet and it flies 100 meters away.

In fact, I want a version of the Mongoose that is faster, turns sharper, but is more prone to flipping, which is just a pure bike.

Wow, I diddn't think this would get as much attention as it did. I know how to use the mongoose, I just wished it was more common and more useful in spartan ops. So many CQC maps that the goose isn't effective at all.
