  1. There was some nice work submitted for the logo competition. Good luck to all of those who participated.

  2. I have wanted this one to survive and get worked on. So come on guys, let's get a filmin'!
  3. 1st Logo Offering ^ 2nd Offering ^ The idea is for seasonal logos would have the area between the images and below the type for imagery that reflects the season.
  4. Personally I want to continue to offer quality examples living your life as you see fit without hurting others. Professionally I would not mind getting a remodeling job with a homeowner wealthy enough and open minded enough to let me showcase my best talents with design, color and workmanship.
  5. First off I am sure that Bungie and MS are glad you spend so much money on their products, that does not mean however that you can simply go AFK during match making. It is obvious that you know how to play the game, but appears that you and your friend have repeatedly gone AFK, simply not played, or played briefly in numerous matches. If this is your first offense the ban will only be in place for approximately 24 hours.
  6. All links that you have offered are a fail. They take me to some panel of four Youtube video selections that have nothing to do with your content.
  7. Hey Krynige, sorry for the late hello. Welcome to the forums.
  8. Twinreaper asked that I send his best wishes for you and your family.
  9. Just so you are aware, InsaneBear was banned this morning. Most of his posts were not worth keeping, but they have created beneficial side conversations.
  10. GODSABOMINATION found this information for us in XBOX Magazine. Nice work! Waking up and realizing that it's 2012 — or in Master Chief's case, 2553 — is a joyous occasion if for no other reason than it means one thing: Halo 4 will be out this year. We sat down with 343 Industries Franchise Development Director Frank O'Connor to get an update. On how much focus Halo: CE Anniversary took away from Halo 4: “Out of 200-plus people working at our studio, roughly 200 are working on Halo 4.” On whether they will collaborate again with Certain Affinity, the studio founded by former Halo 2 lead multiplayer designer Max Hoberman: “Certain Affinity will absolutely be working with us again. They’re a part of our family.” Clarifying whether or not that means Certain Affinity will be doing multiplayer maps forHalo 4: “We are definitely building Halo 4 multiplayer stuff in-house, [but] would we consider working with [them] on that stuff? Of course. They’ve done some of the best maps for everything since Halo 2.” On whether or not they’ve been fighting an uphill battle with fans simply because they’re not Bungie: “When people see what we’ve been able to achieve technologically, and how both careful and ambitious we’ve been with the gameplay — those things sound contradictory but they’re not — I think they’ll become more and more confident [in us].” On whether or not any of the new engine technology from Anniversary will make its way into Halo 4: “The technology in Halo: CE Anniversary is really cool, but it has nothing to do with the technology that [the Halo 4 team] is working on.” On just how different Halo 4 will be from Bungie’s games: “The core of what’s going to make Halo 4 great is some of the universe building and gameplay creation that Bungie seeded way back in Halo: CE.” On where changes might be most visible: “Now is the time when we really need to do something fresh and new and re-inject some new life…at least in multiplayer.” On how lost you’ll be, storywise, if you play Halo 4 without having ever played Halobefore: “If Halo 4 is your first [Halo] game, that’s fine — don’t worry about it.”
  11. GODSABOMINATION Great find! I have brought what you found posted in XBOX magazine here for members to see. This was posted yesterday at 11:41 am in XBOX Magazine. 12. Anyone needing information on time zone differences can refer to the Time Zone calculator or Time Zone map I have edited in to the OP.
  13. Come on Biggles, a complete prediction.
  14. I have never been too fond of the sword in Reach. I was primarily a Arena Doubles player until it was removed. The sword was not available in doubles, along with other weapons, and it gave me a chance to play the game without it. It literally changed the play of the game in that you no longer had to deal with a sprint/sword lunge. With that said, with the AA's implementation in Reach combined with the sword, along with some other weapons, it became much more overpowering and the sword block seemed a worthy defense against the combination. You still had to properly time the block which meant you had to stop firing or decide on a sticky throw. I honestly think it has to be in the game. The sword with certain AA's is just too much.
  15. I obviously read a lot of players wishes, wants and desires for what they "want" in Halo 4. This will be a thread for you to "predict" what will be in Halo 4. Please do not create debates or off topic posts. This is a chance to let go of your wants and give an honest prediction of what you think will be in Halo 4. These will be the prediction parameters: Campaign 1) Predict the story line of the Campaign. 2) Predict the enemy, or enemies that you will encounter. 3) Predict the human and/or non human friendlies, if any, you think will either fight along side the Master Chief. 4) Predict Cortana's type of break down and whether or not she survives. 5) Predict the outcome of the Halo 4 Campaign. Match Making 1) Predict the weapons that will be available. 2) Predict the Armors that will be available. 3) Predict the ranking system that will be used. 4) Predict types of maps that we will fight on (Example: Urban, Jungle, Forest, Water, Space) and offer a brief description of each. 5) Predict the style of Firefight, if it continues, that will be available. 6) Predict the Forge environments (base maps), forge materials (structures, objects, environmental elements) and what game types will be able to be forged. This thread will be archived randomly and each time new information is released. Lets see who has the right vision for Halo 4. You never know......I may even offer a reward!
  16. I was unaware of this.....thanks for sharing adam.
  17. Jester I will play for 24 hours if it mea Jester I will play for 24 hours if it means a chance to play with the "King"! Now, if we could only get Twam and Bob to play..........
  18. I will admit up front that I do not play fire fight, but I like the map from a player stand point. It has an intriguing outdoor environment and series of paths to navigate. I personally like the outdoor maps.
  19. I personally prefer the Carbine over the Needle Rifle. Though the Needle rifle had a nice rate of auto fire, the Carbine required shot placement and killing with it from a distance was rewarding. It was the perfect enemy weapon to offset the BR due to the differences between the two as compared to the DMR vs the Needler. The Carbine for me also had a better scope and less visual interference when fired.
