This same thread already exists. "What Game would you like to Live In".

Also the 2nd disk for forge would have it's own custom game menu option for testing the maps and all materials of shipped disks are down loadable to the XBOX hard drive. The main disk, once inserted, could give the necessary code so you could forge via the hard drive. Just a thought.

If I remember correctly, there was an independent feedback area for the Beta. This is why, I would assume, there were not too many posts on the Beta vs shipped game until the game was in play and being learned/seen it all of it's glory. I agree with all else you said, at least what I understood of it! lol

Hey DRESGGSTA, welcome to the forums. I don't play as much Reach as I used to, but have noticed some lag or host resets on occasion. You may want to post your question in Twinreapers Tech Help thread and get his insight to what you and others are experiencing. Sorry I personally could not be more help on this one.

LOL! I like this topic. I definitely do not want to live in a game were I kill, get killed and then respawn to do it all over again. "Ground Hog Day"! I enjoy playing poker, so maybe Full House Poker. I could even see living in Sim City, being an engineer or a developer and watching as a city arose before my very eyes. Just had another thought....living inside of Myst would probably be my single choice. A beautiful, lush environment that continues to change and evolve with time would be very cool. Plus you would have the ability to travel via the "books" to other worlds and explore them.

I really like the approach you take to this topic. I actually learned a lot about terminology I was completely unaware of. Now with that said.....I am personally not looking for the return of any maps from the previous games. When I purchase Halo 4 I expected to see all new content in regards to maps. I don't want any shipped forge maps or remakes of community maps. I respect and have admired a number of the community maps that have ended up in the play lists, think there should have been more of them for Snipers and Swat, but they can be forged again in any new system that is shipped with H4. There may come a day when a community map could be considered being fully rendered for a DLC, maybe even a Community DLC map pack from H3 and Reach, but initially I want all brand new maps. By the way, did I say nice OP?
