  1. Pretty sure the rings only take out a quadrant of the universe. As for your last question, the Halo's were a Last Resort plan. The weapons were top secret to all but a few people, so the flood didn't know they were building them until later when Mendicant Bias went rampant. Plus they were built outside the Galaxy. A Last Resort, if you don't know, is if all their other plans fail. However, they managed to only take out a few of the 30,000km rings. Except 07. However, if Installations 08-12 were to be fired. It would definitely have got rid of the flood. As I'm sure the original Gravemind moved out of the quadrant and far far away. If not, he died. But remember, there were 12 Halo Rings, 5 of them were destroyed. And I believe 07 was deactivated.
  2. Well, there are some maps already remade. We did have a Halo: Combat Evolved playlist. It's gone now, but it was a thing at one point. The reason why there aren't any 343 developed maps is because... Well... Look at the map Mercy.
  3. Halo is Halo. Also, they are listening. We're getting black undersuits back. Splitscreen back. ^^both of these have been wanted back, and they will be. As for the money from Halo 5's REQ packs. Some of it went to making new maps for the game. And the rest went to the Prize Pool at HCS. And yes, Halo 5 is competitive. Halo was always known to have competitive. Why do you think some players hated Reach? No competition. Same with Halo 4. Halo 3 was super competitive, what the **** do you think BTB Legends consist of? Where do you think Snipedown and Lunchbox came from? Ranking systems have been here since Halo 2. Halo 4 graphics? Lol, those are Bungie and 343 artstyles combined. Unlike you, Majority of the community liked Halo 4's look. Also, hate to break it to ya. But Spartan IV's are the same as Spartan II's in their armor... Otherwise Spartan II's would never advance, and the few we have left would be a letdown. Spartan's in armor are even matched, which is why Chief and Locke had what they had. Before I even go on discussing lore with you, learn it yourself. You most likely put this idea together from a few Halo Waypoint posts and Reddit posts you saw. If you can't back up your complaints. Get out.
  4. No, the weapon skins were a pack glitch, what you spent on REQ points is what you get. Sorry, but you're wasting your time if you're trying to get them back.
  5. Sorry, Twin. But you're wrong. If I see an enemy player wearing one of the same pieces of armor as me, I notice and target them. If I see an enemy player wearing Achilles or even a Friendly. I already know what's going down. (Usually a hall, and they're lobbing grenadas) Most/Some of the armor in Halo 5 people actually look at, not as much in previous games for sure. But for some reason Halo 5 makes it more noticeable. However you aren't wrong, nobody gave a **** in Halo 4.
  6. Oh well, they can have my 150k REQ points. Still a better deal than last year though. "$10 or 100k for a CHANCE of getting 3 of the Armors or Helmets!" At least then, nobody complained. Lol.
  7. I got Halo, the T-shirt Halo the coloring book Halo the lunchbox Halo the breakfast cereal Halo the FLAMETHROWER (The kids love this one) Last but not least, Halo the doll... Me. Adorable.
  8. Jokes on you, Halo 5 doesn't have Blood Gulch.
  9. Slayer, Team Arena, or Team Skirmish? Team Slayer's in a lot of playlists, and it helps to know which one. (Even if it's just Slayer, saying which playlist still clarifies and DOES make a difference.) Because it's a penalty... Halo 3 took away XP, even in Social Playlists... Halo: Reach had a ban timer... Halo 5 has a +recurring-ban-timer. It's only fair to ban you from joining a new game, because you were part of the problem of your teams failure. Not sure why this matters. It sucks because you got banned for being a sore loser. As a sweaty player myself, you're more of a disgust if you leave the game rather than finish it. And all that ban does is ensure I don't have to put up with you quitting on me in my next game, and if you do. That second quit is a definite ban that I can appreciate. No, players are on teams based on their skill. Not ranking. If you start doing pretty bad for a couple games, you're going to be placed against other players who are bad or are doing pretty bad. If you start doing pretty good for a couple of games, you're going to be placed against other players who are doing good or are very good. Your complaining about quitting is the more reason I love the banhammer. Although at times I hate it, it's still a needed addition and I'm glad it's in effect. It helps cycle the sore losers from the losers. Making a realistic pecking order.
  10. No. It will play like the original Halo Wars, but with better render models and more mechanics. No playable characters are in the game, it's RTS not FPS.
  11. Nah m8, I'm still buying the Switch. Just not paying for online. Because Nintendo isn't the type of Company I'd trust with their online servers. (Even though they'd probably be better than Microsoft's...) I need a couch-potato console to play with my couch-potato friends. So they're still getting a run from my money.
  12. Antifreeze? That map didn't have issues for me. I haven't played Entombed yet, Halo 5 crashed before we could. However, it could be. Any other map didn't have frame issues, though.
  13. I played BTB yesterday, it was just fine. I've only experienced Pegasus and that's it.
  14. If you're experiencing it only on Pegasus, it's Halo 5. If it's on another map in matchmaking it's you. Also if everyone else has yellow bars that means you don't have the best connectivity to anyone but yourself there's packet loss you'll see time to time
  15. Facebook Messenger has an Event Reminder AND you can respond to it whether you can make it or not make it with a voting-like option. Maybe we can get something like that.
  16. Except Nintendo has so much money they couldn't care less. I wish they'd stick with traditional gaming, and just make it home-only, it's meant to be played with friends and family
  17. Extremely disappointed, to be honest. Nintendo is our gaming company we can rely on for couch-play. And they're trying to turn away from that. Online subscription? As if their console is going to have many players pay for that to play online. Other than catering to handicap players with the joycon, I'm glad they are finally allowing third party.
  18. Calm down and quit being toxic. You're getting code to early access of a game that is literally just an HD remake. Getting upset and saying you're going to refund is pretty hilarious though, especially since they don't charge you until 10 days before release. And it's literally only about a month away. Anyways, hold on to your panties. I preordered December 23rd, I missed it by 2 days. Was I mad? No, not at all. Anyways, I just got my code about 10 minutes ago for it. So I'm sure yours will be coming too.
  19. When did you pre-order the Ultimate Edition? It has to be the Digital Copy and You had to have pre-ordered it before December 21st.
  20. Uh, Super Fiesta exists... Go there if you don't wanna spend money on actual REQ's to own but want to play with them. Not like it's going to matter or anything, you're going to get your ass kicked because most players will outplay you. So overall, not matter what you play. You're going to get you ass kicked. You might as well not play then, I guess is what you're saying. Or you can play to get good.
